The diploma thesis "Financial analysis of Grafobal Bohemia Ltd." deals with the evaluation of the financial situation using standard methods. In the theoretical part of the thesis describes the methodological basis, elementary and higher methods of financial analysis. The second part is devoted to the practical aspect. Selected financial analysis methods are applied to the company and results of analyzes are compared with average values in the industry. The following is a summary and evaluation of the collected data.

The main objective of this thesis is to elaborate an economic analysis of the company LUKROM, spol. s.r.o. for period 2008 -- 2012. Theoretical and methodological part of the thesis defines and explains terminology and instruments of economic analysis which are used in the analysis of the company. At first the reader will learn the basic information about the company and its activities. Then we'll focus on the market development, supplier-customer relations and sales structure of the company. Continue with analysis of the financial statements, assessment of compliance of the balance sheet rules, analysis of financial ratios, decomposition of ROE and EVA calculation. The company will pass through bankruptcy and creditworthy models evaluation and outputs of this evaluation will be compared with credit rating of one of the financing banks. Based on knowledge of interim financial results will outline development of the company for 2013. The analysis also includes an assessment of the economic development of the whole group LUKROM. The entire group is compared with a similarly focused business entity. The thesis is concluded with a SWOT analysis and summary of the obtained results.

This master thesis focuses on checking the status of performance measurement and management of ThyssenKrupp Výtahy, s.r.o. and on implementation of financial analysis for years 2007-2012. The first part is concentrated mainly on the current state of performance measurement and management and introduction of IT background including introduction of the reporting system and their use in performance management. The second part is dedicated to the financial analysis to find the weaknesses in performance management using vertical and horizontal analysis of financial statements, ratio indicators, credibility and bankruptcy models, EVA indicator and a comparison with the sector average, and to summarize the results and to provide recommendations.

The objective of this thesis is to conduct a financial analysis of the company TŘINECKÉ ŽELEZÁRNY, a.s. Initial theoretical and methodological part is given to the description of elementary methods used in financial analysis, such as absolute, differential and financial ratios, bankruptcy and solvency models, Economic Value Added and spider diagram. Consequently, in practical-analytical part, these methods are applied on the data of the selected company from period 2005 to 2011. This thesis includes an outline to the differences between Czech accounting legislation and IFRS that have an impact on the explanatory power of financial analysis.

The goal of this thesis is to evaluate the financial position of the chosen company using the standard methods and techniques. The thesis is divided into two parts - in the first the detailed description of the methods and tests used is presented. The second part of the thesis focuses in the actual analysis which includes the horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance sheet and the income statement, asset management ratios including the DuPont model, the analysis of the working capital and the analysis using the formulas for predicting the bankruptcy and assesing the value.

This master thesis deals with bankruptcy prediction models for construction companies doing business in Czech Republic. Terms important for understanding the issue are defined in the theoretical part. In analytical part, there are five current bankruptcy prediction models tested on the analysed sample and resulted accuracy compared with original ones. On the basis of knowledges acquired, there is developed a brand-new bankruptcy prediction model.

Master´s thesis analyses financial situation of the company Draka Kabely, Ltd. On the basis of executed financial analysis contains proposals and arrangements that could generally improve financial situation of the company.

This Master´s thesis deals with assessing the financial situation of the company Symbol Technologies, Inc. in years 2004 – 2008. Selected Methods of Financial Analysis are used during assessment particularly the calculation and evaluation of financial ratios. On the basis of findings are suggested some steps that could generally improve financial situation of the company.

This thesis deals with the financial analysis of company Eurest, ltd. Its goal is to demonstrate appropriate methods of financial analysis, to apply them to a specific company and to interpret the results. The goal will be achieved through methods like analysis of financial statements, calculation of various financial ratios and ultimately bankruptcy model and analysis of financial health of the company.

The main objective of my graduation theses is to analyze the financial and economic situation of Aero Vodochody Corporation between 2005 and 2009. Another goal is to review the entrance of the strategic owner into Corporation in 2007 including its steps taken during the restructuring of the company. I am focusing on the theoretical fundamentals of my financial analysis and its defined basics of method in the first part of my theses. Those are applied in second part of theses. Results of economics situation of corporation is summarized in conclusion of this theses.
