Vývoj arkádové centrály v sakrální architektuře a její význam v rámci průnikové barokní architektury / Evolution of the arcade central in sacral architecture and its importance in the penetration baroque Architecture

Galia, Milan January 2018 (has links)
Evolution of the arcade center in sacral architecture and its importance in the penetration baroque Architecture Anotace: The topic of my diploma thesis will be a central unit, whose main architectural motif is a series of arcades. As such, it is specific to the Baroque architecture and I believe that it forms the core of so-called penetrating architecture. After describing the genesis of this type in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, I will try to introduce the meaning of the arcade headquarters within the baroque architecture of southern Germany (especially Bavaria and Frank) and Bohemia - in the areas they have adopted and creatively developed the ideas of complex and penetrating plan layouts. The aim of the thesis is to try to create a different perspective on the formation of the radical Baroque architecture in the Central European space. Keywords: baroque, architecture, space, arcade, building, penetration

Benčová, Monika January 2019 (has links)
Resumé This Ph.D. thesis deals with scenic designs and decorations of Baroque theatre in 18th century in Czech Republic. The paper presents development of theatre based on preserved decorations and scenic designs. And try to find the answer about scenic painting in Bohemia. The thesis focused mainly on scenic designes with connection to the aristocratic families. Timeline is defined by the work of Galli Bibiena's family and the work of Josef Platzer. The scenic decorations are presented on the background of Austrian and Italian influences that directly affected Czech culture and mutual connection with the other baroque theatres in the European cities. In this context, the question arises, which has become one of the main lines of thesis, whether there was purely Czech stage design influenced by European theater art or the application of Viennese and Italian designs on the Czech territory. And whether it can be referred to as "Czech stage art" or more generally Central European stage design. From the beginning, the work was designed to highlight the best examples. In my thesis I do not try to conceive completely the work of all well-known artists (scenographers), whether Czech or foreign, who have been involved in scenic creation in the Czech Republic, but I focus only on some examples that have significantly...

Poutní kostel Nejsvětější Trojice v Trhových Svinech / The pilgrimage church of the Holy Trinity at Trhové Sviny

Nedbalová, Alice January 2012 (has links)
The pilgrimage church of Holy Trinity in Trhové Sviny Abstract This thesis presents a monograph of the pilgrimage church of Holy Trinity near Trhové Sviny. It focuses on its origin, historical background and the benefactors of the building and finally on the artistic value of the church. The work deals not only with a description of the church's architecture, but also looks into patterns and analogies with the Bavarian pilgrimage churches such as the one in Kappel near Waldsassen. Interestingly, the unifying element is the iconography of the Holy Trinity, which is reflected in the architecture and decoration of the church, in frescoes and the mobiliar. This iconographic concept is cleverly thought out, especially in the Trinitarian symbolism of the number three and the triangle motif that is repeated several times here. A valuable contribution is the main altar from Matěj Václav Jäckel, who probably created the church pulpit as well. The frescoes celebrating the Holy Trinity were made by Carlo Bonanelli who worked in the nearby České Budějovice. The church is an interesting result of the unifying principles of Baroque theology with the ultimate art design work. And we must not forget the question of the baroque feeling demonstrated through an impressive setting of the church in the landscape. Pilgrimage...

Kadlecová, Žaneta January 2012 (has links)
The target of my dissertation is to draw the character of the graphical works created by Jan Jiří Balzer which are kept in the collections of the National gallery in Prague. The resource of the graphical works of J. J. Balzer according to Norbert Grund includes more than five hundred and fifty items which remained almost non-elaborated. That's why, I would try to sort out and catalogue them. Beyond my dissertation, I would like to introduce a personality of the contemporary artist who is at the time the founder of an engraving plant and a successful businessman - who managed to interest the Czech graphical market of the second half of the 18-th century. As well as, I try to clarify, on base of the critical studying of available sources and literature, the circumstances which lead the artist to the graphical performance of the Norbert Grund's painting works. And last but not least I would like to outline the production of Jan Jiří Balzer in context of the contemporary creation and collecting of the 18-th century.
