Designed construction of a spa with the wellness center programs (relaxation type), for 200-250 people (at one moment) at Brno city, near Voronez Hotel and Exhibition Centre. The five-floor spa building is designed as a puzzle in the shape originating from a dice. Cycles of water in its various forms and states of matter or properties fade into one another here. Each floor is designed to have its own theme (water world, the Asian world, aroma floor, salt floor, sunny and airy bath) and offers various types of premises and procedures: swimming, relaxing in the water, baths, showers, steam rooms, saunas, infrared saunas, wraps and massages etc. The spa program is accompanied by various types of refreshments: cafe, bar, tearoom, fruit bar. Rooftop pool and bar offers a unique view on the city. The spa and hotel Voronež parking is carried out within the ground floor.

The diploma thesis aim to the design of equipment for ŠKODA JS a.s., which is part of a new inspection stand (N-SIO). This equipment is an inspection column that provides the possibility to inspect spent fuel assemblies at the operation of the Temelín nuclear power plant. This master thesis is also a summary of the whole design of the new inspection stand and a description of the individual inspection components and devices. One of the parts of the thesis is also a basic strength analysis and a drawing of the main assembly of inspection equipment.

The diploma thesis deals with the problems of the indoor environment of swimming pool halls. Firstly, it describes issues and principles of designing HVAC system in the areas with high humidity production. Thesis then focuses on various approaches to calculations of evaporation from the water surface and different possibilities of dehumidification including different types of HVAC units. This knowledge was applied to the design of HVAC system for particular assigned building, for which are proposed two different solutions. Thesis includes experimental part, its aim is to analyse one specific critical part of the hall. Based on local surveying and long-term measurements a few possibilities of improvement are suggested.

The subject of my master´s thesis is a project of a new sports center in Havlíčkův Brod in Humpolecká street on plot no. 2709/3 and 2709/4. The land is sloping and its area is 14 849 square meters. The building has two overground floors and one underground floor. Vertical bearing constructions are designed from the monolitic ferroconcrete columns. Space between colmuns is made up of ceramic blocks. In the underground floor the space is made up of monolitic reinforced concrete. The vertical peripheral structures are provided with an insulation system with ventilated space. The horizontal bearing structures are designed as a monolitic reinforced concrete slabs. The roof is designed single – layer vegetation area. The roof over sports hall is sloping made up of wooden trusses. In south-eastern side of sports centre is designed restaurant with its technical background. In the underground floor there is relaxation part with swimming pool, saunas and massages. The rest of sports center is made up of technical and hygienic background for visitors and employees, and sports grounds, for example badminton courts, climbing wall, squash courts, fitness and 4 sports rooms.

The topic of this thesis is a new-building of a hotel with a wellness centre. The building site is located in the cadastral area of Malenovice near Zlín, the city of Zlín, Zlín Region. It is the building consisting of three rectangles inserted into each other. The building is designed as a six-floor skeletal construction with a cellar made of reinforced concrete, roofed with flat roofs. In the first floor there is a reception, a restaurant with outside seating, wellness centre, and utility rooms. The second and the third floor are intended for accommodation of guests in the form of double rooms and apartments. In the fourth and fifth floors there are double rooms as well. Rooms for guests and apartments are situated to the southern and northern part. This residential space is mostly equipped with balconies stretching along the corners. In the last, sixth floor there can be found the management of the hotel, a conference room and a bar with terrace. The main entrance is situated to the northern part of the object. Outdoor parking places are also a part of the hotel. Exterior and interior of the hotel are designed in the conformity with current modern trends. The layout of the space is functional and basic. The dynamics of the building is supported by external holes in black colour and by the two-coloured facade in blue and grey colours. The hotel is meant for both active and passive relaxation, there is a possibility of accommodation of young couples, families with children, elderly people, individuals, and people with limited ability of movement. The hotel of designed with the focus on the comfort of guests. Therefore the leisure time space is a part of hotel. The comfortable space for relaxation within the object is provided by the wellness centre mentioned above, the bar with terrace, and an outdoor swimming pool. The aim of the diploma thesis was to design reinforced concrete construction of the indoor swimming pool and ensure impermeability of the construction, to ensure behavior as concrete tank construction. Static analysis was done by using program Dlubal RFEM 5.12, where interaction of subsoil with construction was taken into account. Slabs around the swimming pool area were divided into expansion section because of temperature changes from glass façade an after that the sealing of expansion gap was solved. Construction system under the swimming was designed and was tested the behavior of walls and slabs. Analysis was done also to considerate of hydration heat. The drawing was done by software CADKON RCD.

Diploma thesis Aquapark Brno is directly connected with the previous specialist course "Sports Center Za Lužánkami Brno". This project dealt was focused on overall concept, architectural and urban study of this area with an emphasis on sports, recreation and relaxation. There was created a zone of predominantly professional sport in the southern part of this area. There were built football and ice hockey stadiums on the newly created terrace/platform. These stadiums are located approximately in the same places as their current (football) or non-existent (hockey) predecessors. The terrace/platform (parking is located under the terrace) continues, and the newly expanded Boby Hotel follows the recreational sports zone with an Aquapark and outdoor sports grounds located behind the existing Tesco shopping centre. There is formed a new park in north of the sports grounds forming a recreational-relaxation zone on the territory of Planýrka. The existing building of a 50 meter swimming pool dominates the area of Aquapark. It was built in 1979 according to the project architect Otakar Oplatek. However this object no longer meets the requirements of today's visitors or athletes. The new building which includes a twenty-five meter tall swimming pool with a background is being added to the existing building. So there is a separable swimming area created here, which can serve both - swimmers and teenagers or professional athletes. There is a good possibility of racing as well. The new building connects eastward to the building of the roofed Aquapark partially hidden beneath the terraces and resting areas. These three through-flowing but mutually separable objects together with the platform define the area of the outdoor aquapark. He is also separate off from the noisy Sportovní street, but it has a sufficient supply of sunlight. The point od this master thesis is to propose a new Sanatorium with speleotherapy for children as an architectural concept. The building site is located on the northeast hill of township Ostrov u Macochy near the main entarnce to the cave, which is crucial for correct rehabilitation and treatment of the children. Sanatorium building contains everything needed for seasonal stay of the children – accomodation, school cafeteria with kitchen, medical space, rehabilitation with small wellness and one pool, cloakroom with equipment neccesary for the cave trip, administration part, common leisure spaces, spacious outside playgrounds and lastly all technical and technological things needed to keep the sanatorium running. In the surroundings of the building are couple of newly build family houses and the rest are meadows and forest.

Diploma thesis is focused on design of a new hotel in mountain surrounding with one underground floor and five stories. The hotel has 53rooms for guests from the second to the fifth floor and two rooms for employees of hotel on the fifth floor, what means 106 beds for guests. The hotel is equipped indoor swimming pool 25x10meters, its own kitchen, dining hall, sauna, massages and Conference hall. The object consists of four dilatation units – accommodation sides and common central part and swimming pool. Roof construction is created by huge wooden truss from the second floor to the fifth floor, which sequentially subsides and formed by 70 dormers. Angle of the roof is 46° and 23°, and surface coating is smooth titanium zinc sheet. Load bearing system of whole object is designed as irregular reinforced concrete monolithic skeleton from concrete C30/37 with prestressed elements and based on prestressed reinforced concrete slab. The cladding is designed from ceramic bricks with inner additional insulation and additional insulation on outer surface, which is covered by facade with ventilated air gap, designed from cement-fibers boards, which are by color and structure imitating natural stone. Each accommodation floor is divided into two accommodation sides, central part with central stairs and two personal elevators. Each accommodation side has two protected escape routes and one fire evacuation lift. On the Ground floor, there is the reception, the dining hall, the pool hall and offices. On the underground floor, there is wellness center for guests of the hotel, technologies for the pool, HVAC engine room and kitchen. In all object, there are designed different types of hanging ceilings, because of attendance of stabile sprinkler system. In the pool hall, there will be acoustic hanging ceiling. Heating will be procured by combination of biomass boiler and heat pumps, which will be used mainly for deck heating in rooms in accommodation floors.

This master´s thesis elaborates a project documentation of sports rehabilitation center in Brno–Bystrc. The building object is four-storeyed and a partial basement. On the basement floor there is a pool with sauna, gym and fitness with support to assist for all activities offered. On the ground floor there is an entrance, reception for accommodation, restaurant and kitchen for the restaurant. The 2nd overground floors is determined by the rehabilitation clinic. On the grand and overground floor are designed sanitary appliances for the restaurant and patient surgeries. There are projected 9 apartments for weekend accommodation. Apartments allow access to the terrace. Foundations are made strip foundations. The building object is bricked and insulated with ventilated facades. Load bearing structure of the roof create roof trusses.
