91	An Autonomous Driver of a TORCS Racing Car / An Autonomous Driver of a TORCS Racing Car Běhal, Lukáš January 2012 (has links) Tato práce popisuje simulátor TORCS a optimalizační algoritmy, jenž jsou využívány při tvorbě autonomních řidičů pro tento simulátor. Hlavním cílem je navržení nového autonomního řidiče, který se bude schopen s použitím přírodou inspirovaných optimalizačních technik vyrovnat již dříve navrženým řešením. Chování implementovaného řešení lze rozdělit do dvou hlavních částí, které jsou využívány v různých rozdílných etapách závodu. Zahřívací kolo je využito pro vytvoření modelu trati, ze kterého je posléze získána optimální trajektorie pomocí genetického algoritmu. Této trajektorie je potom využíváno v samotné kvalifikaci či závodě pro zajetí co nejrychlejšího kola. Z důvodu složitosti problému optimalizace celé trajektorie je nutno tuto trajektorii rozdělit na menší úseky nazývané segmenty, přičemž každý z nich je potom optimalizován odděleně. Jednotlivé optimalizované segmenty jsou následně spojeny dohromady, aby opět utvořily trajektorii pro celou trať. Protože některé přechody mezi segmenty mohou být nesouvislé, je zde znovu aplikován genetický algoritmus pro jejich vyhlazení. Během závodu je tato trajektorie následována, přičemž se z ní odvíjí i maximální možná rychlost v daném úseku. V práci jsme ukázali, že vzorkování trati s následnou optimalizací pomocí genetického algoritmu trvá pouze zlomek času vyhrazeného pro zahřívací kolo. Nejen díky tomuto se řešení jeví jako vhodné pro závody autonomních řidičů a může být dále rozšířeno.
92	Srovnání mediálního pokrytí Mistrovství světa ve florbale mužů v letech 2008 a 2018 / Comparison of the media coverage of the World floorball championships in years 2008 a 2018 Krejcárek, Tomáš January 2020 (has links) The thesis entitled Comparison of the media coverage of the World Floorball Championships in years 2008 and 2018 aims to identify and compare the media coverage devoted to these two championships held in the Czech Republic. The goal of the thesis is to determine and compare the media coverage in the two examined media - Mladá fronta DNES, Deník Sport and online servers iDnes.cz and iSport.cz, based on these findings define which direction is the trend going. The diploma thesis is divided into main three parts, in the first theoretical part, key definitions, terms and topics from the media side such as gatekeeping, agenda-setting and news values are gradually introduced. A similar space is also devoted to the sports, more precisely floorball side of the thesis, where important historical milestones of this sport, both Czech and worldwide, are presented. Last but not least, this section offers an introduction of a closer relationship between the media and sport. In the second part, the research method of quantitative content analysis is methodologically explained, so that could be used for the analytical part. 93	Analys av värdnationers aktiemarknadsreaktioner i samband med tillkännagivandet av mega-sportevenemang : En kvantitativ studie om tillkännagivandet av mega-sportevenemang med syfte att beskriva och analysera potentiella reaktionen på värdnationens aktiemarknad Jonsson, Rasmus, Törnblom Ehrnst, Emil January 2024 (has links) This study investigates the impact of mega-sporting event announcements on the host country's stock market. The analysis includes 34 events between 2000 and 2024, including the Olympic Games (Summer and Winter), the FIFA World Cup, and the UEFA European Championship. Employing a deductive approach grounded in existing theory and research, the study formulates hypotheses and utilizes an event study methodology to examine whether the announcements trigger abnormal returns in the host nation's stock market. T-tests are used to assess the statistical significance of the findings. The results provide limited evidence of market reactions to the announcements, with any potential effects occurring primarily before the official announcement, suggesting the possibility of information leakage or insider trading. No significant effects were found on the announcement day itself or on subsequent days. Furthermore, no statistically significant differences were found based on the economic size of the host nation or the type of event. However, the study did observe that FIFA World Cup announcements tend to generate slightly more volatile market reactions compared to the other events.
