The main content of this Thesis is the second home as a part of tourism and recreation - very popular form for leisure time. The aim of the Diploma Thesis is to monitor changes in the second home in a protected landscape area Kokořínsko. The comparison of the second home in Sudetenland and in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia is emphasised. Although this district did not belong to the important areas of the second home from the very beginning, after the Second World War Kokořínsko became more developed, mainly in the terms of cottage building. The Thesis is divided into several parts. Individual parts are important for understanding the second home in this district. The Thesis deals with a brief history of the second home in Kokořínsko and characterises the Sudetenland with the whole area from the point of view of development and localization. Concerning research methods, the Thesis uses mainly a field research method, a questionnaire survey and a statistic data research. Key words: a second home, protected landscape area Kokořínsko, folk architecture, Sudetenland

Fyzickogeografické aspekty rozšíření nepůvodních druhů rostlin v CHKO Křivoklátsko / Physical-geographic aspects of alien plant species distribution in the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area

Nováková, Zuzana January 2016 (has links)
Plant invasions are becoming increasingly more discussed issue, primarily due to a negative impact on global biodiversity. It has also an economic impact and it affects human health. It is therefore important to study the introduction of plant species and their distribution, and monitor them in some way. This is particularly applied to protected areas, where rare species of plants are often endangered. In this work were described factors that affect distribution of alien plant species in the level of plant communities, landscape and large territories. For the practical part of the work has been selected the Křivoklátsko PLA as a model area, mainly because of detailed botanical mapping. There were analysed diversity, origin and distribution of alien plant species. Also the effect of selected factors on distribution of alien plant species in the Křivoklátsko PLA were assessed. The average altitude is the strongest factor. The second strongest factor is the fraction of anthropogenic habitats and moderate factor is the habitat diversity. The length of rivers is weak predictor and the length of roads is very weak predictor of number of alien plant species.

Illegal expansion of forested land estates illustrated by the example of thep rotected landscape area Žďárské Vrchy

Dvořáková, Aneta January 2018 (has links)
The thesis objective is to highlight the recent enlargement of the forested land area within the PLA Žďárské vrchy and to point out the nature conservation risks stemming from illegal afforestation, in particular. The work includes a quantification study on the natural biotope loss due to illegal afforestation within the PLA since 2001, pricing the incurred loss as ecological damage. Moreover, it adumbrates and considers the efficiency of specific preventive, corrective, compensatory and repressive measures to minimize negative impacts on the subjects of protection, which are available to the government authorities. The thesis also includes literary research focused on the biological and legal aspects of afforestation with an emphasis on the specifics of the PLA Žďárské vrchy.

Citlivost letokruhových řad borovice kleče a smrku ztepilého ke klimatickým parametrům horní hranice lesa

Mikušková, Jana January 2019 (has links)
Trees growing on the treeline can serve as a sensitive indicator of changes in climatic parameters associated with ongoing climate change. Understanding differences between trees and shrubs growing in this ecotone is a key for understanding the functioning of the treeline. Therefore, the submitted thesis deals with the study climate diameter-growth responseof Norway spruce and Dwarf pine. Samples from Norway spruce and Dwarf pine were collected at the localities at treeline in the National Nature Reserve Praděd in the Jeseníky PLA. Indexed chronologies were developed for Norway spruce and Dwarf pine using various detrending methods of raw tree ring series (Spline, Negative Exponential, Ar, Mean, Friedman). For subsequent dendroclimatological analysis, I used the chronology with their tree ring series were detrended using Spline. Subsequently, correlations of the indexed tree-rings width with monthly climatic variables (average temperature, precipitation total, PDSI – Palmer drough severity index) were calculated. These correlations were investigated both for the entire chronology period and separately for the sliding time sequences within the chronology. It was found that the radial growth of Norway spruce is influenced mainly by temperature in the growing season (May to July) and in November in the year preceding the creation of the tree-ring. In the case of monthly precipitation, their positive correlation with radial growth was recorded only in March and no significant correlations were noted for PDSI. The growth of Dwarf pine is influenced by the temperature at the beginning of the growing season (June) and in October in the year preceding the growth of the tree-ring. Monthly precipitation negatively affects radial growth in October in the year preceding the growth of the tree-ring and no significant correlations were noted for PDSI. The results correspond to the view that the most important factor for the growth of trees at the treeline is temperature, that is not so important for shrubs. The monthly precipitation sums and drought index are not limiting for woody plants of this ecotone.

Využití CHKO Brdy ve výuce přírodopisu a biologie / Use of the Brdy PLA in High-School Science Teaching

Valterová, Bára January 2021 (has links)
Presented work studies the possibilities of recently established protected landscape area (PLA) Brdy for a systematic use in teaching nature and biology related subjects at schools closely neighboring the PLA. The theoretical part of this diploma work makes a resume of basic information regarding the legal status of PLA's and introduces the reader into main facts about the PLA Brdy focusing on its natural aspects and specifics. General methods of education are reviewed briefly, followed by a more detailed discussion about the educational form of field trip and about possibilities how such trips or excursions to the PLA Brdy can be used in the education practice. The key part of this work is a relatively large questionnaire research for teachers, pupils and students of elementary and secondary schools next to Brdy. It establishes a database of their approaches to and existing experiences with field trips generally and excursions into PLA Brdy in particular. Two separate questionnaires have been used: one for teachers (16 questions, 26 respondents) and another one for pupils and students (30 questions, 152 respondents). Therefore, the database is composed of nearly 5000 responses which have been analyzed. The results show that interviewed pupils and students are clearly interested in the nature and...

Modelování znečištění povrchových vod v CHKO Křivoklátsko s využitím GIS / Modelling of surface water pollution in Krivoklatsko protected area using GIS

Šereš, Michal January 2014 (has links)
Environmental modelling is lately becoming to be one of the most important decision support systems. Hydrological models present significant potential for use especially in area of surface and groundwater protection. In the diploma thesis, the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) was used to evaluate nitrate surface water pollution in nine catchments situated in Křivoklátsko protected area during the period of 2003 - 2010. Modelling process consist of assorted consequent steps. First the hydrological model of each catchment was created. Afterwards the sensitivity analysis was conducted to select most sensitive model parameters. Calibration process was carried out after the parameters selection using SWAT-CUP automatic calibration tool. Model results were visualized and evaluated. The results of the model suggested, that the area of interest was not widely endangered by nitrate pollution. Within each catchment the critical source areas of nitrate pollution were identified. It was observed that these areas are related with intensive agricultural areas. Nitrate leaching ranged from 6 kg.ha-1 to 10 kg.ha-1 per year in agriculture areas. Some areas exceed this amount. Nitrate loss from most of the area of interest ranged from 0 kg.ha-1 to 4 kg.ha-1 per year. Concentrations of nitrates in modeled...
