The improved approaches and results of Open space technology under the deficit of ideal conditions

Liu, Ming-Chun 26 July 2002 (has links)
Abstract Today everyone have a lot of meetings. The meetings¡¦ efficiency is quite low and group decision-making quality is bad. In foreign, many methods have good effects on it. Open space technology is one of them. But it has some conditions and assumptions which don¡¦t fit our culture and the conditions of our companies. We have to improve Open space technology to draw its effects. We improve it according to our assumptions and principles. We also assist it with some technologies, like Talking stick, circling, and catalytic mechanism. They all have outstanding and stable results. They can help Open space technology to overcome the deficit of ideal conditions. This research¡¦s main point is to introduce and collect the creative ways of the improved Open space technology. In two hospitals, we can see the improved Open space technology which has obvious effects and promote the group decision-making quality a lot. It still can get good results under the deficit of ideal conditions. We conclude that it has 9 traits as followed: 1. It lowers the barrier of inertia. 2. Interactions 3. Positive feedback 4. Participation 5. The form of activity 6. Safety 7. Closer contact with others 8. Appreciative attitude 9. Truly contribution This research is a initial research and introduction of the improved Open space technology. We suggest other researchers can popularize the improved Open space technology and get the more generalization results.

Vliv technického cvičení - střídavé kroužení horních končetin - na techniku plaveckého způsobu kraul u studentů FTVS / The impact of technical training - alternating circling the upper extremities - to crawl swimming stroke of FPES students

Hejkalová, Barbora January 2017 (has links)
Title: The impact of technical exercise - alternating circling of the upper extremities - to technical part and performance of swimming style crawl, observed in Charles' University students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to determine whether the exercise alternating circling of the upper extremities in standing applied during the swimming lessons has impact on improving technically swimming style crawl. Methods: The research involved 28 probands of the 1st degree of Faculty of Physical Education of Sport Charles University who have never taken part in swimming training. During the research was used only non-invasive methods. The measurement of height of body, upper extremity range and body composition on TANITA device. Testing was carried out in the laboratories of sports motorics at Faculty of Physical Education of Sport in Charles' University. Than testing in swimming pool was attended a swimming test at the distance of 25 and 50 m. Probands were testing in time and it was calculated number of strokes in a swimming test at the distance of 25 to 50 m. Results: Based on testing, we can say that intervention of the exercise alternating circling the upper extremities in probands of intervention group had a statistically significant reduction in...

Effects of angular shift transformations between movements and their visual feedback on coordination in unimanual circling

Rieger, Martina, Dietrich, Sandra, Prinz, Wolfgang 03 August 2022 (has links)
Tool actions are characterized by a transformation between movements and their resulting consequences in the environment. This transformation has to be taken into account when tool actions are planned and executed. We investigated how angular shift transformations between circling movements and their visual feedback affect the coordination of this feedback with visual events in the environment. We used a task that required participants to coordinate the visual feedback of a circular hand movement (presented on the right side of a screen) with a circling stimulus (presented on the left side of a screen). Four stimulus-visual feedback relations were instructed: same or different rotations of stimulus and visual feedback, either in same or different y-directions. Visual speed was varied in three levels (0.8, 1, and 1.2 Hz). The movement-visual feedback relation was manipulated using eight angular shifts: (-180, -135, -90, -45, 0, 45, 90, and 135°). Participants were not able to perform the different rotation/different y-direction pattern, but instead fell into the different rotation/same y-direction pattern. The different rotation/same y-direction pattern and the same rotation/same y-direction pattern were performed equally well, performance was worse in the same rotation/different y-direction pattern. Best performance was observed with angular shifts 0 and -45° and performance declined with larger angular shifts. Further, performance was better with negative angular shifts than with positive angular shifts. Participants did not fully take the angular shift transformation into account: when the angular shifts were negative the visual feedback was more in advance, and when angular shifts were positive the visual feedback was less in advance of the stimulus than in 0° angular shift. In conclusion, the presence and the magnitude of angular shift transformations affect performance. Internal models do not fully take the shift transformation into account.

Cutting rules for Feynman diagrams at finite temperature.

Chowdhury, Usman 13 January 2010 (has links)
The imaginary part of the retarded self energy is of particular interest as it contains a lot of physical information about particle interactions. In higher order loop diagrams the calculation become extremely tedious and if we have to do the same at finite temperature, it includes an extra dimension to the difficulty. In such a condition we require to switch between bases and select the best basis for a particular diagram. We have shown in our calculation that in higher order loop diagrams, at finite temperature, the R/A basis is most convenient on summing over the internal vertices and very efficient on calculating some particular diagrams while the result is most easily interpretable in the Keldysh basis for most other complex diagrams. / February 2010

現金增資不同承銷配售方式之股價反應差異 / Stock price response to seasoned equity offerings - the difference of two firm-commitment underwriting procedures in Taiwan

張素綾, Chang, Su-Lin Unknown Date (has links)
The study is based on a sample, consisting of 278firms, of the announcements of SEO(seasoned equity offerings) in Taiwan stock market during the period from Jan. 1996 to Dec. 1997, to detect whether the current circling system in TW is not proper. There are two major SEO underwriting procedures in TW: by offer=for-sales and by circling. The paper focuses on two types of firms which adapt different SEO underwriting. By comparing the both firms' financial characteristics and stock price responses, we know if the existing system is fair. The evidence shows that 89% financial ratios (in the research) of firms, adapting different underwriting procedures, don't have statistically significant positive abcdrmal returns for both underwriting procedures and the reaction levels for both are different. During the circling procedure, circling firms' stock price response is significantly negative but is significantly positive for offer-for- sales firms'. It's very clear that the latter firms have the better stock price performance than the former. During the days of offerings, circling firms' stock price response is significant positive but is not significant negative for offer-for sales firms'. In the research, we can be sure that these two SEO underwriting procedures are significantly different in all of three event days. Since the different market responses are not associated with firms' financial characteristics, we now can be sure that current circling system exist some problems. The system may provide some big stockholders having chances to arbitrage and to get more newissuing shares then they should have. To the other stockholders who can't engage in arbitraging and get new issuing shares, the existing circling system is unfair.
