Edição semidiplomática de corpus selecionado a partir do códice ?Ofícios do Vice-Rei para o Governador da Capitania 1793/98?, visando a fornecer fonte fidedigna para futuros estudos filológicos, lingüísticos, históricos e culturais do período. Trata-se também de um estudo mais detalhado desse códice catarinense que contextualiza historicamente os documentos que o compõem, assim como aborda aspectos paleográficos, codicológicos e diplomáticos com o propósito de responder a questionamentos e hipóteses surgidos durante a edição acerca de sua composição, criação e origem. Este trabalho descreve codicológica e paleograficamente o códice em geral, apresenta uma demonstração de diferentes punhos e procura levantar traços de natureza fonológica de um manuscrito dentro do códice. Consta também deste trabalho uma tentativa de identificação tipológica mais adequada através da composição de um verbete descritivo do corpus. / Semidiplomatic edition of the selected corpus from the codex ?Oficios do Vice Rei para o Governador da Capitania 1793/98? (Memorandums from the Vice-king to the Governor of the Province 1793/98?) seeking to provide a trustworthy source to further philological, linguistical, historical and cultural studies of such period. It is also a thorough study of this Catarinense (from Santa Catarina) codex that put its documents into a historical perspective. It touches its paleographic, codicological and diplomatic aspects aiming to address questionings and hypotheses raised during the editing process concerning its composition, how it was assembled, and its origin. This work describes the codex general paleography and codicology. It presents a demonstration of different handwritings and attempts to raise traces of phonological aspects from the codex. This project also proposes a more adequate typological identification of the documents, through descriptive summaries of each memo.

Este trabalho apresenta a edição semidiplomática de 68 documentos manuscritos da segunda metade do século XVIII, entre os anos de 1767 e 1775, referentes ao período de governo de Dom Luís Antonio de Sousa Botelho Mourão como Capitão General da Capitania de São Paulo. O conjunto desses documentos, originalmente avulsos, encontra-se reunido em um livro manuscrito de número 170 no Arquivo do Estado de São Paulo (AESP). A fim de melhor estudar tal livro manuscrito, esse trabalho compõe-se de um capítulo acerca da descrição codicológica e paleográfica, seguido da classificação das espécies documentais existentes no corpus transcrito. Além de um capítulo sobre o momento histórico em que foram executados os documentos. Após os capítulos de análise do corpus, há o núcleo do trabalho: a transcrição semidiplomática e justalinear face a face com a reprodução facsimilar de cada fólio dos documentos. No livro manuscrito há também páginas impressas, que foram anexadas após as transcrições, embora não façam parte do presente estudo. Uma vez que os documentos aqui publicados encontravam-se inéditos, a sua divulgação certamente contribuirá para os estudos filológicos, linguísticos e históricos da época. / This essay presents the facsimilar copies and the semi diplomatic editions of 68 manuscripts from the second half of the eighteenth century, between the years 1767 and 1775, during the government of the General Captain of the São Paulo Captaincy, Dom Luis Antonio de Sousa Botelho Mourão. This corpus was selected in the Arquivo do Estado de São Paulo (AESP) and all of the documents are covered in the manuscript book number 170, where they follow the same order as presented here. In order to study the manuscript book, this work is composed by a chapter about Codicology and Palaeography of the studied documents, followed by the classifications of the documental species of the corpus. Before the transcriptions, there is a chapter about the historical moment in which the documents were executed. The transcription of the handwriting part of the codex is semi diplomatic, line by line and face to face with the respective facsimilar reproduction of each manuscript. There are also printed documents in the manuscript book, which were attached to this work, though they are not the object of study. Since the documents are not yet published, their divulgation can certainly contribute to the philological, linguistic and historical studies.

Esta dissertação tem como primeiro objetivo preparar as edições facsimilar e semidiplomática de atas da Câmara Municipal de Botucatu, datadas de 1858 e 1859. Por ser o trabalho filológico uma atividade multidisciplinar, propomo-nos, também, a levantar alguns aspectos codicológicos e paleográfios do livro no qual estas atas se encontram. Durante a leitura destes documentos, notamos que os diferentes alógrafos dos grafemas s e z, especialmente em posição intervocálica, podem, muitas vezes, proporcionar dificuldades de leitura a pesquisadores preocupados com questões de linguística histórica. Além da variação entre alógrafos, há também a variação no emprego dos grafemas s e z quanto à representação de diferentes fonemas. Baseados na constatação de que s e z apresentam variação quanto à forma e ao fonema que representam, nosso segundo objetivo é examinar, no corpus estudado, ocorrências de alografia de s e z que suscitam maior dificuldade do ponto de vista paleográfico e verificar a variação de uso dos grafemas s e z apenas em posição intervocálica. / The first objective of this dissertation is to prepare both the fac-similar and the semi diplomatic editions of minutes of the municipal council of Botucatu, São Paulo State, which date back to 1858 and 1859. As the philological labor is a multidisciplinary activity, we also propose to raise some codicological and paleographic aspects of the book in which these minutes lie. While reading these documents, we noticed that the different writings of the graphemes s and z, especially in intervocalic position, might, at times, cause difficulties in reading to researchers preoccupied with historic linguistics issues, because the variation, both in writing and use of these letters, is wide. Besides this, there is also variation in the use of the graphemes s and z in representing different phonemes. Based on the finding that s and z present variation both in shape and the phoneme they represent, our second objective is to examine, in our corpus, occurrences of s and z allographs that raise greater paleography difficulties and verify the variation in the use of the graphemes s and z only in intervocalic position.

Precede a edição, breve histórico do documento, da Igreja e do autor, João Luis Promessa, bem como a análise codicológica e paleográfica do manuscrito. Após a edição, faz-se a análise das ocorrências dos pronomes demonstrativos do texto editado, comparando-as aos dados coletados com o levantamento das ocorrências do pronome demonstrativo dos textos da dissertação de Mestrado Edição de Textos Relativos à Defesa, Segurança e Fiscalização Portuária da Baixada Santista no Período Final do Século XVIII e Início do Século XIX e do livro Por Minha Letra e Sinal. Faz parte, ainda, desta tese, um levantamento histórico da trajetória dos pronomes demonstrativos, do latim às orientações das atuais gramáticas prescritivas. / Edit, respecting the standards, the manuscript \"Reminiscent of Santos\", written by João Luis Promise and belonging to the Church of Santo Antonio Valongo in Santos. Preceding edition, brief history of the document, the Church and the author, John Luis Promise and the codicology and palaeography analysis of the manuscript. After editing, it is the analysis of occurrences of demonstrative pronouns from the text edited, comparing them to data collected with the survey of occurrences of the demonstrative pronoun of the texts of the dissertation of Masters \"Edition of Texts Concerning the Protection, Security and Surveillance of Baixada Santista Port in the end period of the eighteenth century and beginning of the nineteenth century\" and the book \"The Sign and My Letter\". Part, even in this thesis, a survey of the historical trajectory of pronouns demonstrative, the Latin to the gidelines of current prescriptive grammars.

A presente dissertação apresenta a edição semidiplomática de documentos eclesiásticos, manuscritos entre meados do século XVIII e fim do XIX, provenientes do Convento de Nossa Senhora da Conceição da Lapa, localizado em Salvador Bahia. Este estudo visa fornecer fonte fidedigna para futuros estudos filológicos, históricos, culturais, religiosos e linguísticos do período. O corpus é constituído de 63 (sessenta e três) fólios avulsos, totalizando um conjunto de 46 (quarenta e seis) documentos. Para complementar a edição, apresenta-se a contextualização histórica dos documentos, detalhando a vida monacal das religiosas que possuem a guarda da documentação. Também aborda-se o estudo dos aspectos codicológicos, diplomáticos e paleográficos. Elaboraram-se os verbetes de cada documento, adaptando-os segundo o estudo apresentado pelo Projeto Resgate. As fichas com a descrição codicológica dos documentos estudados organizam e apresentam os principais elementos sobre a materialidade do corpus. O estudo paleográfico apresenta um quadro contrastivo entre a escrita dos cinco punhos mais variáveis no corpus. Esse corpus é relevante para o estudo da história do período, da instituição e representativo do estado de língua da época. / This thesis presents a semidiplomatic edition of Church documents, manuscripts from the mid eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, from the Convent of Nossa Senhora da Conceição da Lapa, Salvador Bahia. This study aims to provide a reliable source for future philological studies, historical, cultural, religious and linguistic studies of the period. The corpus is constitued of 63 (sixty three) loose folios, totaling a set of 46 (forty six) documents. Complementing the issue, it presents the historical context of the documents. It also addresses the study aspects of aspects codicological, diplomatic and paleography. Were of each document was studies elabored, adapting them acording studies of the study presented by the Projeto Resgate. The codicological chips organize and present the main elements that detail the mateariality of the corpus of each item, besides the description of the origin of the paper, etc. The palaeographic study presents the picture of five wrists, which deals with the contrastive of the spelling of period in question. This corpus is relevant to the study of the history of the period, the institution and representative of state language studies of the time.

A invenção do papel pelos chineses percorre o mundo oriental e, através do povo árabe, entra na Europa. Em Jávita, na Espanha, surgem as primeiras folhas de papel europeu pelo método chinês/arábico. Em seguida, em Fabriano, na Itália, no segundo quartel do século XIII, são desenvolvidas novas técnicas para a produção papeleira e a inserção da filigrana, ou marca d’ água, como marca identificadora do fabricante, tecida por artesãos ou não, em formas, quando da fabricação do papel folha a folha. Através de uma filigrana é possível identificar o moinho papeleiro que a fabricou, o país e deduzir a data do seu fabrico. O conhecimento de uma filigrana serve para averiguar a autenticidade e a datação de um documento quanto à originalidade. As filigranas, neste trabalho, coletadas nos arquivos brasileiros, estão presentes em documentos escritos na capitania de Mato Grosso ou aparecem nas correspondências enviadas para os seus habitantes, durante os séculos XVIII e XIX (1750-1850), de origem portuguesa, italiana, francesa, holandesa etc. O acesso aos bancos de dados pela internet, recurso também utilizado aqui, é de fundamental importância ao filigranologista que se encontra distante dos grandes centros de pesquisa e, pelo fato de ser raro no Brasil um trabalho, específico, que aborde o tema. / This dissertation shows the study of filigree by means of codicology, auxiliary discipline of philology. It is known that codicology allows the analysis of the support used for writing. The invention of paper by the Chinese traverses the eastern world through the Arab people. In Javita, Spain, the first sheets of paper appear by the Chinese European / Arabic method, then in Fabriano, Italy, in the second quarter of the thirteenth century new techniques are developed for the paper production and insertion of filigree as the identifying mark producer. Brands woven by artisans or otherwise, molds, when in papermaking sheet to sheet. Through a watermark it is possible to identify the papermaking mill that manufactured the country and deduce the date of manufacture. Accordingly, it was necessary to address the papermaking from its origin in China to the present days. The use of detailed knowledge of a watermark serves to verify the authenticity of a document dating analyzed, so you can bequeath it as original or fake. Filigree collected in Brazilian archives are present in written documents in the captaincy of Mato Grosso or appear in mailings to its inhabitants, during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries (1750-1850). Photographed brands are Portuguese, Italian, French, Dutch etc. The approach to databases over the internet is of fundamental importance to filigreenologist which is far from the major centers of research and the fact that there is a specific job in Brazil that covers the field of filigreenology.

Cette thèse propose de parcourir l’histoire d’un genre littéraire à travers l’analyse de sa production manuscrite. Notre recherche porte ainsi sur la relation entre le texte et le manuscrit, et la problématique à laquelle nous souhaitions apporter quelques éléments de réponse concerne les rapports que l’on peut établir entre une typologie de textes et une typologie de manuscrits. S’il est possible, dans un ensemble de textes varié, d’ébaucher les traits qui distinguent le ‘roman en vers’ des autres productions, la même démarche est-elle transposable aux manuscrits de cette catégorie générique ? En envisageant l’ensemble de la production manuscrite des romans en vers au Moyen Âge, cette étude met en relief des modèles matériels et des typologies de codex pour ce genre littéraire particulier. Les analyses menées dans ce cadre ont par ailleurs contribué à reparcourir l’histoire du genre romanesque et de sa diffusion sous un angle nouveau, ainsi que de mettre en lumière quelques aspects de sa fortune. Les moments charnières de l’évolution du roman en vers sont d’autant plus riches d’enseignements qu’ils ouvrent de nouvelles perspectives de recherche, en particulier concernant la lecture et le mode de réception de ces textes. Parallèlement à l’examen approfondi de cinq aspects de la relation entre le texte et son contexte manuscrit – production des textes, production des manuscrits, dimensions des codices, mise en page et mise en recueil –, la thèse propose un catalogue des romans retenus et un catalogue des manuscrits (entiers ou fragmentaires) contenant un ou plusieurs romans en vers. / This thesis intends focuses on the history of a literary genre, starting from the study of its manuscript production. The aim of the study is to investigate the relation between the text and the manuscript and the existence of a relation between a typology of text and a typology of manuscript. If it is possible, in a variety of texts can the same be accomplished for the ‘verse romance manuscript’ as well? Research on the entire manuscript production of medieval romans en vers allowed us to trace the material models and codex typologies associated with this genre. It also enabled us to retrace the history of this genre, its diffusion and some aspects of its fortune, also giving us some valuable insights into the copyists’ awareness of their work and their cultural role. The presence of key points is particularly interesting and leads to new research perspectives, especially with respect to the way these texts were read. Together with the study of five aspects of the relationship between the text and its manuscript context (production of texts, production of manuscripts, codices’ dimensions, layout, collection), the thesis includes a catalogue of selected novels and a catalogue of manuscripts – intact or fragmentary – containing novels in verse.

O presente trabalho consiste na edição semidiplomática justalinear, acompanhada de glossário parcial e índices de expressões latinas, antropônimos, topônimos e cargos, dignidades e funções, da obra intitulada Memória Histórica da Capitania de São Paulo e todos os seus memoráveis sucessos desde o anno de 1531 thé o prezente de 1796, códice E11571 do Arquivo do Estado de São Paulo. O trabalho está dividido em seis partes: na introdução, apresentam-se o trabalho, sua importância e seus objetivos; na primeira parte, expõe-se um breve contexto histórico do século XVIII, época na qual se situa Memória Histórica; na segunda parte, apresentam-se informações sobre o autor, suas obras, inclusive a obra em questão, e a discussão sobre sua autoria; na terceira parte, faz-se uma descrição do códice E11571, incluindo estudos codicológicos, paleográficos e lingüísticos; na quarta parte, justifica-se a opção pela realização da edição semidiplomática em formato justalinear, descrevem-se as normas de transcrição utilizadas e apresenta-se a edição da referida obra; na quinta parte, listam-se os critérios adotados na elaboração do glossário parcial, assim como dos índices de expressões latinas, antropônimos, topônimos e cargos, dignidades e funções, a que se seguem os referidos glossário e índices; finalmente, expõem-se as considerações finais e as referências. / This work consists in a justalinear semidiplomatic edition, followed by partial glossary and index of Latin expressions, anthroponymous, toponymous and posts, dignitaries and functions. It is based upon the work named Memória Histórica da Capitania de São Paulo e todos os seus memoráveis sucessos desde o anno de 1531 thé o prezente de 1796, codex E11571 from the Arquivo do Estado de São Paulo.
