No. of bitstreams: 1 Gracione Maia Pereira da Costa Arruda.pdf: 490138 bytes, checksum: 643074a31fc0efb453113d85ccf130da (MD5) Previous issue date: 2007-12-12 / João Amos Comenius was one of the greatest Educators and Pedagogues of the 17th century and also of our time. He considered Pedagogy as a conjunction of religious and realistic ideas. The religious part is the purpose of education and the realistic part is the way. The purposes of education are the salvation and the eternal happiness with God. This research intends to present Comenius from the beginning of humanity education childhood that it abridges. The potentiality to learn with rules of graduation, method, rationalism, had contributed to the process of growth. In Comenius, teaching / learning becomes easy and efficacious because it trusts the method, ruled by the order, uniformity of orders, synchronicity of times and graduation of scholar skills the goals will be reached. It s educator s responsibility to teach the youth by his own life experiences, based on several phases and degrees of scholar experience, from the harmony of things and its relation with totality with simplicity, spontaneity and teaching everything to everyone. Education, based on Comenian thought, involves familiar and scholar education and an articulation between both institutions, producing an alliance that involves them with different duties to each one and the way they are presented to children.
