Over the last century, teaching techniques and philosophies have changed extensively in the art classroom. Teaching methods have spanned a range that stretches from highly rigid, to self-expressive, more learner centered approaches. In recent years, there has been a resurgence of interest and research regarding the role of creativity in visual art education. This research project focused on the qualities of effective art instruction using elements from a number of historical ideologies, with the intent to study creative development in students. The research used a case-study methodology informed by a reflective, action research methodology. Research was used to determine effective engagement, and discover teaching strategies using fun and playful exploration that motivate students to be as creative as possible, discover what they are interested in, and engage them in their own artistic research. The application of this research is to inform and improve my own teaching practice, and to explore the qualities of effective learner centered art instruction for middle school age students.

Before modern young people there is a problem of the choice of own effective vital strategy and Wednesday which provides the best conditions for self-development and self-realization. In the Russian Federation conditions for creative development of the personality are created, including using the festival technologies which successfully proved for many years. Within work theoretical bases of socialization as the defining process in life of the young man were studied. It is confirmed that the festival movement are effective institute of socialization and that necessary environment in which the youth can develop, protect the rights, show an initiative, participate in life of society. The substantial analysis of the Festivals of student's creativity realized in the Russian Federation within the Program of support and development of student's creativity is made "The Russian student's spring". Each festival has the specifics depending on the region and opportunities in a certain territory. According to the conducted research, the hypothesis is confirmed that the festival movement "Student's Spring" plays an important role in socialization of youth. Participating in competitions, social activity, appearing on stage, preparing for a performance, at the young man qualities, skills so necessary for the modern young man are formed is a skill to communicate and ability to work in team, creativity and responsibility, ability to count the time. The Program of support of student's creativity "The Ural student's spring" which will promote effective socialization of youth is developed. Implementation of complex support will allow to create conditions for creative self-realization of youth. That category of youth which is engaged in student's creativity is capable to create image of the region, to organize and support social actions, to participate actively in public life of the region. The main thing that ways and forms of mutual understanding and interaction of the state and subjects of the festival movement "Ural Student's Spring" of Sverdlovsk region were found. / Перед современными молодыми людьми встает проблема выбора собственной эффективной жизненной стратегии и среды, которая предоставляет лучшие условия для саморазвития и самореализации. В Российской Федерации создаются условия для творческого развития личности, в том числе используя фестивальные технологии, успешно зарекомендовавшие себя на протяжении многих лет. В рамках работы были изучены теоретические основы социализации как определяющего процесса в жизни молодого человека. Подтверждено, что фестивальное движение являются эффективным институтом социализации и той самой необходимой средой, в которой молодежь может развиваться, защищать свои права, проявлять инициативу, участвовать в жизни общества. Произведен содержательный анализ Фестивалей студенческого творчества реализуемых в РФ, в рамках Программы поддержки и развития студенческого творчества «Российская студенческая весна». Каждый фестиваль имеет свою специфику в зависимости от региона и возможностей на определенной территории. По данным проведенного исследования, подтверждена гипотеза, что фестивальное движение «Студенческая весна» играет важную роль в социализации молодежи. Участвуя в конкурсах, социальных деятельности, выступая на сцене, готовясь к выступлению, у молодого человека формируются качества, умения и навыки так необходимые для современного молодого человека – это коммуникабельность и умение работать в команде, креативность и ответственность, умение рассчитывать свое время. Разработана Программа поддержки студенческого творчества "Уральская студенческая весна", которая будет способствовать эффективной социализации молодежи. Осуществление комплексной поддержки позволит создать условия для творческой самореализации молодежи. Та категория молодежи, которая занимается студенческим творчеством, способна создавать имидж региона, организовывать и поддерживать социальные мероприятия, активно участвовать в общественной жизни региона. Главное, чтобы были найдены пути и формы взаимопонимания и взаимодействия государства и субъектов фестивального движения "Уральская студенческая весна" Свердловской области.

Adapting video games for TV : A nexus of interactive and linear storytelling

The Entertainment Industry has long been plagued by the “Video Game Curse”, a term used by both fans and critics to describe the historically poor performance and reception of video game adaptations to film and television, often resulting from a failure to capture the essence and appeal of the original games (Barasch, 2023). However, in the last few years, there have been several successful video game-to-film/TV adaptations released (Williams, 2021), with many more adaptations in development. Has the “Video Game Curse” finally been lifted? And if so, then how and why now? This thesis will examine how the “Video Game Curse” has manifested itself in film and TV productions and how more recent media seem to have learned from the mistakes of the past. Using a theoretical creative development project for a TV series based on the cult classic video game, Mirror’s Edge (2008), this paper will unpack the unique challenges and opportunities that come with adapting video games into film and TV. The master's dissertation work is focused on one of the psychological diagnostics methods {--} the test of an enchanted family drawing. The theoretical part of the diploma work generally describes child's family background, relationship between members of the family and character of an incomplete family. The attention is also paid to the specificity of child's creative development and drawing psychological diagnostics methods. The practical part analyses the collection of 56 children{\crq}s drawings with a view to express the most common tendencies in enchantment and adumbrate projections of family members characteristics and family aspects into the enchanted family drawing.

Este proyecto busca ser un espacio de aprendizaje y desarrollo creativo, para los jóvenes interesados en carreras culinarias, donde se fomente la investigación. Un centro educativo cuyo diseño responda a una metodología de enseñanza moderna aplicada en los modelos de éxito internacional: La metodología colaborativa. En esta, se propone una relación dinámica entre los paquetes de formación, investigación y complementarios para el desarrollo global de sus alumnos. El usuario principal es el joven de entre los 17 y 25 años que busca desarrollarse en el mundo culinario y tiene un perfil que lo caracteriza por ser creativo, activo, tecnológico y explorador. El diseño del proyecto como ya se mencionó está basado en una metodología colaborativa en el que se dé énfasis al vínculo de los espacios con la naturaleza (biofilia) buscando recuperar esa conexión al pasado de Lima Norte como zona agrícola. Este centro educativo está ubicado en el sector de Lima Norte, en el distrito de Comas con miras a abastecer la creciente demanda de San Martín de Porres, Los Olivos y Comas. Se encuentra emplazado en la av. Universitaria lo cual le permite un fácil acceso desde cualquiera de los distritos mencionados. Finalmente, cabe resaltar que el proyecto no solo se plantea como espacio de aprendizaje para los alumnos, sino que consta de paquetes complementarios abiertos al público para generar una invitación a otros usuarios a participar de este mundo culinario. / This project seeks to be a space for learning and creative development, for young people interested in culinary careers, where research is encouraged. An educational center whose design responds to a modern teaching methodology applied in internationally successful models: The collaborative methodology. In this, a dynamic relationship is proposed between the training, research and complementary packages for the global development of its students. The main user is the young man between the ages of 17 and 25 who seeks to develop in the culinary world and has a profile that characterizes him for being creative, active, technological and explorer. The design of the project, as already mentioned, is based on a collaborative methodology that emphasizes the link between spaces and nature (biophilia), seeking to recover that connection to the past of Lima Norte as an agricultural area. This educational center is located in the North Lima, in Comas with a view to supplying the growing demand of San Martín de Porres, Los Olivos and Comas. It is located on av. University which allows easy access from any of the aforementioned districts. Förskolans ateljé : En intervjustudie om kvalitén i förskolans ateljés lärmiljö / The preschool's studio : An interview study on the quality of the preschool studio's learning

Syftet med denna studie är att bidra med en ökad kunskap om vilka kvalitetsaspekter på olika nivåer som kan påverka barns möjlighet till kreativ utveckling i förskolans ateljé. Studiens empiri samlades in genom semistrukturerade kvalitativa intervjuer. Analysen gjordes efter Wallins (2023) modell förskolans pedagogiska miljöer. I resultatet framkom att det finns kvalitetsaspekter i organisation, miljö, material, pedagogers kunskap samt i pedagogers förhållningssätt som påverkar barns möjlighet till kreativ utveckling i förskolans ateljé. Mitt forskningsbidrag är en utveckling av Wallins (2023) modell. / The purpose of this study is to contribute with an increased knowledge of which quality aspects at different levels can affect children's opportunity for creative development in the preschool studio. The study's empirical data was collected through semi-structured qualitative interviews. The analysis was done according to Wallin's (2023) model of preschool educational environments. The results showed that there are quality aspects in organization, environment, materials, pedagogues' knowledge and in pedagogues' approach that affect children's opportunity for creative development in the preschool's studio. My research contribution is a development of Wallin's (2023) model.
