Santé, créativité, temporalité : une analyse en clinique du travail et en ergonomie de l’activité des soins en EHPAD / Health, creativity, temporality : an analysis in clinic of work and in ergonomics of care activity in a residential establisment for older dependent people

Raybois, Mathieu 29 May 2013 (has links)
This thesis questions the care activity of elderly in a residential establishment for older dependent people. The question about the health of the professionals is examined through analyses of the work's activity. The examination of the links between the notion of health and the theories about the work shows the importance of creativity. The recreated activity pertains to the care givers' health by many ways. Besides this point, the research-Action reveals the necessity of investigating the numerous implications of time in the activity. Strongly constrained, the activity is collectively reorganized around time management. But refocusing on the daily time, the care givers' activity seems to occult the care. During the relationships, the care is reinvested. But there are other dimensions of time too that are summoned : exchange's time, life's time, professional's story and familiar's story... From these times and stories, the activity could be recreated by any care giver. The end of this research aims to discuss and reconsider the complicated connection between the caregivers' activity and times, the different creativity's appearances invested, and also the question of the collective.

Throughdecades, notions as opportunity, risk-taking and creativity have been added to the definitionbut also the different forms of entrepreneurship as social, societal, ecological or educational.Everyone can be an entrepreneur in his own way and young people are seduced by thisconcept that brings independence and freedom. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate onthe way young graduates who decided to turn themselves into entrepreneurship experiencetheir engagement in this field. To answer the research question, the abductive method hasbeen used. The thesis’ authors interviewed six young graduates who are engaged in variousprojects in order to collect the different experiences and relate them with the differentconcepts of entrepreneurship. After gathering the empirical data and analysed it with diversetheories, a conclusion has been drawn. It showed that there is no common way ofexperiencing entrepreneurship and that personality can have a valuable role concerning thedecision-making. In the following manuscript, theories and interviews have been collectedto reflect on engagement that can be taken by young graduates.

Kultura, kreativita a rozvoj města: kritické zhodnocení realizace projektu Plzeň - Evropské hlavní město kultury 2015 / Culture, creativity and urban development: critical evaluation of project Pilsen - European Capital of Culture 2015

Ciprová, Petra January 2012 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the relationship between culture, creativity and urban development with a special focus on the project of European Capital of Culture (ECoC) and its implementation in Pilsen. This study evaluates the positive effects and potential obstacles of this initiative, particularly in the case of Pilsen which has been awarded this prestigious title for 2015. This study discusses the state of the project and the situation in the city during the preparation period. It not only discusses the positive and negative aspects of candidacy, but it also attempts to capture some deep-rooted reasons that have led to current issues. The situation in Pilsen is becoming very problematic and further progress seems uncertain. The most burning issues in Pilsen that occur in other post-socialist cities as well, are lack of understanding, lack of political support, politicizing efforts, commercialization, parochialism and insufficient financial resources. Implementation of this project on a "European level", within these countries appears difficult. This thesis, therefore, proposes some recommendations that may conduce to a more successful realization of the project. Key words: culture, creativity, city, European Capital of Culture, Pilsen.

Fridrichová, Jaroslava January 2016 (has links)
This thesis is aimed to the particular case, which is mostly called as "The case of Rath" or ,,The David Rath's case". This thesis follows the development of this case in Czech media, especially on social networks, which are increasingly being used for the expression of the general mood in society. The work deals with not only the content but also the formal aspect of the individual contributions from (mostly anonymous) Internet users.. In the introduction we research so called ,,folk creativity", development and possible forms of it, and we also deal with the concept of humour and relation of this phenomenon with the Czech national character. For understanding of the context we include also a brief summary of the case and its reflection in the Czech media. The main part of the thesis is the interpretation and analysis of the online contributions, which respond to the case. Specific creations (listed in the annex to this work) will be examined from the point of view of the relationship of text and image, from the point of view of the topic and processing (in particular in the form of comparison), and last but not least, in terms of the use of language resources, which the authors of contributions used for the achievement of the hyperbolic nature. A Course in Freshman English Composition Based on Theories of Creativity

Garrett, Patrick Posey 08 1900 (has links)
Today's colleges and universities are faced with the challenges of reforming their curriculums in an effort to hold a generation of students who are now demanding more than just a degree. Today prominent writers in the field of higher education point to the necessity of assessing and reconstructing college courses so that new direction will be provided. Each student entering college for the first time usually must enroll in an English composition course. Such a course offers great potential to encourage the creative capacity of the incoming student and foster an attitude of personal inquiry. The diversity of subjects and intentions which can be introduced in the beginning composition course offers a healthy reservoir of opportunity for exploring personal meaning. Introducing some of the goals and concepts of creativity may thus inspire the design of a new course given to meeting the challenges of higher education. The problem of this study was to develop a course in freshman English composition based on the theories of creativity and directed towards the development of the student's creative and critical capacity.

Site as playground: expanding the experience of play

Melvin, Rebecca January 1900 (has links)
Master of Landscape Architecture / Department of Landscape Architecture / Katie Kingery-Page / Encouraging creativity is an important part of a child’s education and often not adequately supported by outdoor school environments. Contemporary playgrounds are designed in response to perceptions of liability and a limited interpretation of child development. Prefabricated plastic constructions and expanses of asphalt are poor initiators of creative expression. This project proposes a more stimulating, artistically crafted alternative to the typical playground. Beginning with documented research of play, the project layers psychology, education and humanities to form an understanding of how formal space affects human experience. More specifically, poetry, land art, sculpture, narrative and character studies inform the design solution for a 6.4 acre site at Northview Elementary School in Manhattan, Kansas. Integrated design provides children a meaningful experience of space and direct contact with nature. This design encourages imaginative and creative play, expanding the experiential quality of a contemporary playground.

Set Design for Three Sisters: An Extraordinary Encounter with Chekhov

Vitrano, Tricia Duffy 15 December 2007 (has links)
The thesis An Extraordinary Encounter with Chekhov strives to examine the process and phases involved in the design of the set for Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters. This play was produced in the Spring of 2007, at the University of New Orleans. This production was chosen by the graduate committee, as the final work to complete my Master of Fine Arts degree in set design. I seek to examine the nature of the creative process for the set design through a series of encounters, from the initial encounter with the play to the various encounters with the director and other collaborators. These various encounters will include the, research and preparation to the final creation of the set design examined in detail. Copies of all the research, renderings, photos, draftings and any supporting materials that were relevant to the creative process will accompany the text of the thesis.
