31	Studie oblasti Sadová v Brně / Study of the Sadova area in Brno Souček, Petr January 2022 (has links) The diploma thesis focuses on the assessment of transport infrastructure in Brno, the Sadová area and presents a solving proposal for selected problems. The work is based on the site's survey and measurement, as well as data collected from all available sources. The CDV methodology on road safety inspections in accordance with EU Directive 2008/96/EC was used as a basis for processing the analysis of individual sites. A detailed risk assessment is performed at four sites in the area where problems are identified and a proposal for their solution is given. In relation to public transport, the work also evaluates the individual bus stops, identifies major drawbacks, and contains suggestions for a comprehensive solution of bus stops emplacement. The proposal also includes suitable places for the implementation of pedestrian crossings on Kociánka.

The thesis deals with the new design of the broad layout of the communication, the creation of a safe transfer of cyclists, the modification of all existing crossroads and the creation of new platforms for bus stops. Additionally, existing paved surfaces in the associated space of the local road are modified.

The level crossing is a transversal crossroads with four-lane major road, directionally divided. It is place of frequent traffic accidents. The outputs of road traffic survey made for the purpose of the thesis, the evaluation of rate of accidents and the capacity analysis of 5 versions of process layouts of the crossroads with detailed commentary are contents of the thesis. The thesis also includes the section of the drawings resulting from the previous sections. The first layout is a low cost, different road marking and traffic signing are the only changes. The second layout is conversion to the spiral roundabout.

Estimated start-up of this section is in 2014. This project should build on in the future by-pass Ceska Lipa and Novy Bor, which is currently without funds for implementation by 2025. Traffic load after completion of the by-pass should be approximately 16500 vehicles / 24 hours in 2030. The section is designed in the category S 9.5 with optional solving two major intersections. This thesis will focus on reducing the cost of construction of the section.

After building up the station, pedestrian transfers will be safer and time to get into the centre of Brno/ job for commuter people will be shortened. This master thesis also deals with enlargement of tram islands, repositioning of trolleybus stop from Kotlářská street, movement of pedestrians in area and optimization of traffic lines.
