Analysis, planning and management of urban development is a complicated, complex, multi-aspect objective, which could be solved using modern scientific knowledge, technology and experience only. Meeting today challenges, adequate decisions must be taken, appropriate politics undertaken, various programs implemented. For this reason, comprehensive, objective information is required, prognoses must be structured, various decision variants must be analysed and discussed. All interested groups, seeking compromise among business, population and nature interests, must participate in decision-making process, important for the city. The aim of the dissertation is evaluation of urban sustainability and urban development in the future with the help of multi-attribute decision making methods.

Summary Mental health – it is mental and social wealth of person, that ensures proper physical, intellectual and emotional communication which doesn’t prevent the development of other people (Dictionary of Sport Terms, 2002). Mental health is defined by three fundamental components: sense of harmony, self-control, and stress level. Problem in question: Whether instruments of psychological influence are efficient to the development of students’ mental health while exercising? Hypothesis: we presume that instruments of psychological influence positively affect the students’, who play basketball, mental health. Object: Peculiarities of thirteen-year-old students’ who play basketball, mental health training using instruments of psychological influence. Goal of research: Identify the peculiarities of thirteen-year-old students’ who play basketball, mental health training using instruments of psychological influence. Tasks: Disclose the mental health of thirteen-year-old students, who play basketball, before the experiment and after its completion; evaluate the students’ sense of harmony before the experiment and after its completion; evaluate the level of students’ self-control before the experiment and after its completion; define the level of students’ stress before the experiment and after its completion. Disertacijoje nagrinėjamas visuomeninių pastatų atnaujinimo procesas. Pagrindiniai tyrimo objektai yra visuomeninių pastatų atnaujinimo procesas, akcentuojant sprendimų priėmimo procesą pagal darnos principus, atnaujinimo procese dalyvaujančios sprendimus priimančios grupės, ir jų informavimas apie darnų pastatų atnaujinimą. Pagrindinis disertacijos tikslas yra visuomeninių pastatų atnaujinimo pagal darnos principus apimčių įtakojimas, pasitelkiant daugiakriterinės analizės metodus sprendimų priėmimui, ir e-mokymo sistemą, žinių apie darnų pastatų atnaujinimą platinimui. Darbe sprendžiami keli pagrindiniai uždaviniai: įvairių pasaulio šalių mokslininkų tyrimų darnaus visuomeninių pastatų atnaujinimo apžvalgos atlikimas; visuomeninių pastatų atnaujinimo pagal darnos principus teorinio modelio sudarymas; kai kurių modelio dalių praktinio realizavimo pavyzdžių pateikimas, sprendimų priėmimui pasitelkiant daugiakriterinės analizės metodus; e-mokymo modulio apie darnų pastatų atnaujinimą kūrimas. The decision-making model was developed that allows solving multi-attribute problems of derelict buildings management from the perspective of sustainable development and under uncertainty. The model deals with the problem of developing the derelict buildings’ redevelopment variants and choosing the most rational one. Planning and technical components of an effective model in conformity with the main principles of sustainable development were proposed. The model of the sustainability indicator system for management of derelict buildings was designed. The developed system was applied to multi-attribute decision-making. A comparative analysis of the results was developed. The model was adjusted for modelling and evaluating the rational management of derelict rural buildings in Lithuania. The facilities of GIS for a spatial decision-making were adjusted to the analyzed problem of sustainable revitalization of derelict buildings.
