Využití kinematigrafické tvorby věnované holocaustu při výuce výchovy k občanství a dějepisu / The Cinematographic Work Devoted to the Holocaust in Instruction of Civics and History

Pinc, Benedikt January 2019 (has links)
Is the film suitable educational tool for teaching about holocaust? That is the main question and topic of the thesis. At first it im looking into general issues of holocaust in education. I'm trying to show that holocaust is not perceived only as a historical event, but as a specific demonstration of modern society in a first place. Focusing only on its historical attributes results in ignoring ethical and societal dimensions of this topic. For that i'm also suggesting that we should be teaching about holocaust not only in history, but also in civics. Further in this paper im trying to examine using film as the educational tool. I'm working here with the proposition that the film is not representing reality, but it's always just a reflexion of the reality. And as such it needs to work with the memory. Memory is constructing frames of our thinking and understanding of the world around. While using film in education, we need to keep in mind that film is a product of certain cultural memory and memory frames. This product is then retroactively helping to reinforce those memory frames which it came from. I also did some research on legislative aspects of using film in education. In the end of this paper im trying to use aforesaid statements in designing several demonstrational classes on the topic of...

Holubová, Barbora January 2021 (has links)
The presented dissertation addresses main issues of film education. Cesty středoškolských žáků ke studiu fyziky na vysoké škole - pohled jejich učitelů fyziky / Ways of upper secondary school students to study physics at university - view of their physics teachers

Sýkora, Petr January 2021 (has links)
The main purpose of this diploma thesis is to obtain information on how Matfyz can improve its cooperation with high school students and their physics teachers to increase students' interest in physics. To obtain these information a questionnaire was sent to physics teachers, who had been mentioned by Matfyz students as teachers who had had a positive effect on them. The questionnaire itself consists of four parts - events for students, events for physics teachers, Mat- fyz activities, and teaching. The data was processed using both quantitative and qualitative methods, whereas larger part of research was build on quantitative methods. The collected data showed that according to respondents the most im- portant task is to focus on non-Prague students. Thus, organizers should organize events in various places in the Czech Republic or use modern technologies and organize events on-line (that also applies to events for physics teachers). High school students might also meet with scientists and university physics students, visit laboratories except for visitors' days (e. g. during excursions, internships) or have an opportunity to find out how physics in companies is used. Respondents expressed support for writing a new physics textbook on Matfyz, one containing more difficult parts for talented students.

The theoretical part focuses on educational documents in the Czech Republic, including the occurrence of topics about droplet infections in RVP ZV, didactic game as a teaching method and a detail description of selected viral and bacterial droplet infections. In the practical part, the diploma thesis finds out what knowledge, attitudes and behavior students have about droplet infections. Subsequently, a didactic game is performed and the effectiveness of the didactic game is evaluated by comparing the pre-test and the post-test on the basis of changes in the knowledge, attitudes and declared behavior of the interviewed pupils. The results showed that due to the didactic game there was an improvement in the students knowledge and a desired change of attitudes. The declared behavior of students remained unchanged, as the entry level of students in this area was already at a high level.

TITLE: Distance Teaching of Natural History During Emergency Measures in the 2nd Half of the School Year 2019/2020 AUTHOR: Martin Panský DEPARTMENT: Department of Biology and Environmental Studies SUPERVISOR: Ing. Jan Andreska, PhD. ABSTRACT: The topic of the diploma thesis is a distance teaching of natural history at primary schools during emergency measures in the second half of the school year 2019/2020, when, in response to a pandemic situation, the physical presence of pupils in schools was banned, both in the Czech Republic and in the most of the countries in the world. This was a completely new situation, to which it was necessary to respond flexibly and systemically in order for teaching to continue to work, at least to a limited extent. The aim of the work was to summarize the experience of science and biology teachers at primary schools in the Czech Republic coming from distance education in the second half of the school year 2019/2020. Moreover this thesis is focuing on naming critical points in distance education of given subjects, defining distance learning opportunities and examining whether such a situation will have further implications for the future form of our education. To meet these goals, I decided to conduct an extensive questionnaire survey, in which I managed to get over 700...
