In the diploma thesis I concentrated on an approach of preschool teachers to children whose school attendance was postponed. Thesis is divided in two parts. In theoretical part I deal with a definition of school maturity and readiness, which are the basics to find child's troubles with postponement of school attendance. Then I delineate present situation in the Czech Republic - I define contemporary concept of preschools, I deal with compulsory school education and possibility of postponement of school attendance. In the last chapter of the theoretical part I concentrate on the approach of teachers and in sub-chapters I define activities and impact which they have. In empirical part I used a snowball sampling to approach some preschool teachers. Eleven teachers from Prague and Plzeň region have participated the research. After filling in questionnaires focused on individual children whose school attendance will be postponed, questions were adapted to the main research method - interview. Using thematical analysis I discovered various approaches of teachers to organizing forms of work, cooperation with parents, cooperation with specialists, documents in preschools, contemporary perspective of postponement of school attendance in the Czech Republic.

Résumé This thesis deals with finding differences between homogeneously and heterogeneously assorted classes in nursery schools and their influence on the readiness of a child to enter the first class in elementary school. The theoretical part focuses on school maturity and readiness, general characterization of a pre-school child before entering the first class in elementary school, differences between heterogeneously and homogeneously assorted classes in nursery schools and finally on a child's preparedness for the compulsory education. The practical part shows the results of a research carried out by the means of an author's test of school maturity method and a questionnaire. The research sample consisted of children of pre-school age before entering elementary schools from heterogeneous and homogeneous nursery school classes and pedagogues from nursery and elementary schools. The Diploma thesis concerns with an issue of school attendance postponement. The theoretical part focuses on the issue of school maturity and readiness and analyses the period of child transition from a kindergarten to a primary school and the relatively high percentage of school attendance postponement. The practical part was carried out in form of a survey with three groups of respondents - parents, kindergarten teachers and primary school teachers. The aim of this part was to assess the position of parental public toward the school attendance postponement and possible children's preparation for future entry into the compulsory education. In case of the pedagogical public the central theme was a comparison of the kindergarten and primary school teachers' positions on the identical topic associated with a comparison of the most common reasons given in connection with school attendance postponement. This part was completed with a child case report of two preschool children for who the issue of granting the school attendance postponement was very current. In the theoretical part, the basic concepts and terms describing school maturity and preparedness, postponement of school attendance, obligatory pre-school attendance in kindergartens and preparátory classes of elementary schools, teacher's work with pupils in the preparátory year and the last obligatory pre-school year of kindergarten are discussed. The main goal of the thesis was to detect and subsequently present a comprehensive views of educational society and parents for the current issue of school preparedness and its related issues concerning the high number of school attendance delay. To obtain these views was used a method of semi-structured interviews with parents, teachers from preparatory classes and teachers from nursery and primary schools. When analysis of testimony was finished, has been used and also elected procedure confrontation between these dates, then confrontation with professional publications, articles, web discussion forums and also primary data which was find out at conference that was organized on this topic. The topic of this diploma thesis is devoted to the issue of a children enrolment to the first form of a basic school as an important milestone in their life. The theoretical part deals with the topic of the enrolment in its full scale. The author presents an overview concerning the issue of school maturity, school preparedness and their diagnostics. Further she deals with the topic of a postponement of school attendance and legislation. The main chapter of the theoretical part is the topic of competencies which a teacher of primary education should have at disposal during enrolments. In the practical part of this diploma thesis the author gives space to teachers, who, by means of a questionnaire and an unstructured interview, reflect their opinions and feelings concerning their role during enrolments. The author deals with their pedagogical competency. The teachers have an opportunity to present their opinions about the current form of the enrolment procedure. The outcome of this thesis is a discussion about usefulness of the current enrolment procedure and concrete suggestions for a change.

The diploma thesis deals with the adaptation 1st class primary school pupils, to the school environment in social area. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on the process of adaptation pupil to the school environment, it explains the concept of socialization, analyzing school maturity, the readiness and the terms of school education. The practical part is based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative research. The method of questionnaire, interview and observation provides the identified data to deal with the issue of adaptation pupil at the 1st class primary school in the social field and analyzes the attitude of parents and first class teachers to the adaptation pupils to the school environment in the social sphere. The thesis follows the development of the methodology of left-handers's writing, teacher's usage of the knowledge of methodology in a practice, researching the materials aimed in left- handness dedicated to teachers and parents, describing statements and opinions of the concrete primary teachers on left-hander's methodology. The thesis consists of the theoretical part and the empiric part. In the therotical part there are defined terms laterality and dominance, the development of the methodology of left-hander's writing since the year 1967 when this type of writing was legalised in the Czech Republic. The possibilities of getting information about the problematic of left-handness are summed, including books and trainings for primary school teachers. Finally, available equipment for left-handers is introduced. The research combines two methods - questionnaire and interview. The quantitative research is supposed to come up with the concrete percentage of left-handed pupils and with the general knowledge of teachers connected with methodology of left-hander's writing. The thesis focuses on the issues concerning meeting individual needs of the preschool-aged children in kindergartens. In the theoretical part the attention is paid to defining the term "need" and to the description, analysis and comparison of various theories about fulfilling the children's needs. Next part deals with physical development of a child and its successful education as well. Followingly, there are described the possibilities how to fulfil individual needs of children in a family and in a kindergarten. The final topic in the theoretical part is the description of risks arising from dissatisfying the children's needs. The empiric part is based on the case study. investigative research being realized by the combination of several methods (observation, interview, questionnaire), targeting at finding if the inner conditions in kindergartens cope with RVP PV. The empiric part also followed several children which started attending the kindergarten, their appraisal was done and this was accomplished by planning activities leading to fulfilling their needs and easier adaptation. This diploma thesis deals with design, realization and analysis of security and surveillance systems for buildings and spaces containing advanced components. One of the main design's parts is dedicated to intruder alarm system, access system, attendance and CCTV systems with the possibility of automatic motion tracking. Controlling and monitoring of particular subsystems is possible both locally and remotely from a computer via a web interface or by means of a software. The access to camera system from a mobile phone is also possible. IAS/ACS systems also enable controlling and transferring information about their state via SMS. The designed system was realized completely and its operating was demonstrated. The realization is described in detail including illustration of configuration of particular components. A security analysis and a possible future development of the project is summarized in the conclusion.
