The goal of submitted thesis relates to investment as business purpose, used to evaluation of real situation in První brněnská strojírna Velká Bíteš, a.s. and in the areas of its activities. Theoretic part describes basic terms, present problems in investigated area and deal with theoretical description of business purpose. The analytical part is focused on stakeholders, mainly on competitors and on firm itself too. The proposal part includes interpretation of possible options and recommendation of appropriate solution for given investment choice.

This diploma thesis deals with machining process of shaft in the company Decoleta, a.s. to propose production efficiency improvement. The first part of the diploma thesis is focused on the description of the company's activities and analysis of the used machining technologies. The second part analyses the actual production process and proposes increase in efficiency of the component’s production. In the final part the thesis compares the current and upgraded state of machining processes and includes a technical-economical evaluation of the proposed modifications.

Cvrček, D. Web and mobile application for effective using working hours. Diploma thesis. Brno, 2018. This diploma thesis is focused on improvement of the work efficiency. The goal is to study existing technique called Pomodoro, design and implement a mobile and web application, which can provide the user an overview of performed work and its efficiency. Further, a mobile application for smartwatches which will be implemented for tracking of the user behavior and related personal notifications. All described applications are tested on a group of selected users.

The diploma thesis deal with the issue of the influence of the possibility to profit-ing from the efficiency of the health care insurance company of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The first part describes the model of the health care system which both countries are using and also contains evaluation of efficiency in the private and public sectors. The second part deals with the analysis of the management of the health care insurance companies and comparison of the indicators which are evaluating their effectiveness.

The aim of the work is to compare with the help of appropriately chosen procedural parameters the work efficiency of work groups, which are managed in a different way under the conditions of a change, and at the same time to establish possible connection between the management style and work efficiency. The content of the work will be a comparison of the processes implemented by the management of the school or educational establishment, purposefully and systematically to increase the efficiency of the education of students, pupils or children, in connection with the passing of managerského studies on the CŠM. In its theoretical part describes the work of management education in General with a focus on managerial functions, through whichmanagement affects the effectiveness of the training. In the research section of this workdeals with the specific processes in the management of a wide range of schools and assesses their potential impact on the results of the training.

The main goal of this diploma thesis is to create a tool for an efficiency improvement of teaching Geography at a grammar school, which is based on several criteria. The tool is then tested in practice and its impact on students' geographical knowledge is evaluated. The work is conceptually divided into two main parts. The first of them introduces fieldwork as is generally known and construed, because the tool is based on some of the fieldwork principles and is realized outside the school building. An analysis of Czech curricular documents is not omitted in the text. The second, more voluminous part deals with practical issues. The main part presents a concept of a particular field teaching and a description of its following implementation. Subsequently, a tool, which was used to measure the effectiveness of the realized fieldwork, is described in the text. This study focuses on the influence of precipitation on shallow catchments of mineral springs in the special area of Františkovy Lázně. The thesis was made on the basis of the data provided by the company Spa Františkovy Lázně a.s.. The interdependent relations between yield springs, precipitations, atmospheric pressure and the content of free CO2 were studied. These relations were observed onto six springs - František, Luční, Nový, Solný, Železnatý and Žofie. The precipitations were compared with the yield of individual springs. The season was proved by three springs (František, Železnatý and Žofie). Retention of the precipitation was determined for springs František, Solný, Železnatý and Žofie. Considering more than half a year delay, we cannot claim that the precipitations should have a major influence on the dotation of mineral springs. The downtrend was founded for the free CO2 in all researched resources. Significant indirect relation was found using the correlation coefficient between atmospheric pressure and free CO2.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the efficiency of local governance in selected municipalities in the Ústecký region based on analysis of the use of finance. The theoretical part is devoted to the issues of public administration, governance and local budgeting with emphasis on the possibilities of evaluating the efficiency. The research focuses on the analysis of current and capital expenditure on development activities and solving local and regional problems - unemployment and social exclusion - for the period 2002 - 2012. Further research focuses on the use of EU funds. It was able to demonstrate the existence of significant differences in the efficiency of governance on the example of surveyed municipalities. Most of the local governments support short-term projects, whose benefits for local development are minimal, instead of investing in development and problem solving. Title: Dependency of market value of a team on the result achieved at the Synot liga Objectives: The aim of this work is to determine the departmente of the market value of the teams which take place in the Czech Top Football league and their achieved results in this competition. Market value of the team is given by a sum of market value of all its players, regardless of their taking part in the match or not. It's put into the kontext with the final result in the league, which is expressed by a total sum of the gauner points. The partial aim is to determine effectiveness of these teams (expressed by total market value of the team) and the total sum of the points achieved in the competition Methods: Regressive and correlative analysis was used for determination of the dependence in the practical part of my research. Regressive analysis was taken from the assumption of free dependence. In this case the aim was to identify the degree of its intensity. So this is the way how the assumption that total market value of the team has certain influence on the achieved result in the league was checked. Results: In the results you can see characteristic and may be big influence of the market value of the team on the achieved result in the league.
