Abstract This thesis consists of practical and theoretical part. The former which is essential contains 4 final versions of posters related to ecology accompanied with series of drafts. Posters and drafts are made with help of computer graphic programs Adode Photoshop and Corel Draw and printed on paper of size A2 and A3 respectively. The latter is made up from 3 chapters and constitutes an explanatory text for above mentioned posters. The first chapter deals with ecological problems in general and elucidates the reason why this topic has been chosen as well as specifying the particular issues pictured on the posters. The second chapter explains the choice of poster as a communication medium and characterizes briefly its history. The last chapter tries to clarify reasons that led the author of this thesis to choices of the technique; subsequently it describes the process of the creation and the ideas pictured. In the conclusion the author emphasizes the importance of teaching of this topic at the basic schools.

The first part is devoted to the evaluation of the legislative environment in relation to the legislative regulations of the Czech Republic and the EU. The next part deals with the possibility of using individual parts of selected vehicles during their physical liquidation in connection with economic aspects. At the end of the thesis, the obtained data are commented on and the possibilities of dealing with discarded vehicles in future renewals of the MHD fleet are discussed, taking into account all economic aspects.

A B S T R A C T of the dissertation "Polluter Pays Principle in the Environmental Law" JUDr. Ondřej Vícha The Doctoral Program¨"Theoretical Legal Sciences", Law Faculty, Charles University in Prague This thesis deals with the legal aspects of the the polluter pays principle (PPP) within the environmental law. The aim of this thesis is to provide an overview of current definitions of this principle and its application in the International, European and national Czech law. The text is devided into ten chapters. After the introduction, the thesis ruminates on legal principles in general, their status and function in the legal system and in the environmental law specially. The third part holds forth on development and functions of the PPP and its relation to other legal principles of the environmental law. The polluter-pays principle represents among the OECD countries, respectively at the European level, for quite a long recognized and practically applied economic and legal principles leading to internalize the costs of environmental protection, which are transferred from states to the real polluters, who pollutes environment by their production or other economic activities. The thesis deals with the influence of completed projects on land consolidation in the ecological stability of a territory. In cooperation with the relevant land offices was selected a set of land adjustments with an increased intensity to environmental stability. This file was differentiated into degrees of stability of the area and an ecological stability of the land was calculated. A framework of ecological stability was defined . After a field research, a functionality of each elements of TSES was evaluated. The actual situation with and the project of land consolidation were compared. Measures to maintain ecological stability were proposed as well as other possible stabilization for the area, that are feasible within the land adjustment.

For two biocenter's was made budget for realization and maintenance. The result is several map's about maping landscape include information about prehistorical lake. Head subject of this dissertation is issues ecological network and landscape planing. In addition, could be use this work for future territorial plan.

This Master's thesis is devoted to the issue of old ecological burdens. Literal review summarizes general information about old ecological burdens, selection process of remediation, remeditaion technologies, in both saturated and unsaturated zones, further divided into biological, physical and chemical methods. Within the content cross-cutting legislation regarding to old ecological burdens is summarized. Second part of this thesis is dedicated to specific old ecological burden namely Laguny Ostramo in Ostrava. Selected burden was evaluated by the risk analysis and proposals for the completion of remediation were suggested.

The thesis is focused on the ecological footprint of university students in Brno. The theoretical part of thesis is primary focused on definitions of the basic concepts, such as sustainable development and sustainable consumption and production. Further work deals with definitions of the sustainability indicators and the major environmental problems. Following chapters then describe environmental education and ecological footprint and its sub-folders. In the practical part was conducted sociological research through techniques personal interviews. Their task was to determine the ecological footprint and its sub-folders of university students in selected universities and faculties in Brno. Furthermore, their aim was to explore whether there is context between the individual disciplines of university students in Brno and the impact of their behavior on the environment.
