Analýza užitkovosti v ekologickém chovu koz

Berková, Veronika January 2018 (has links)
The goal of this thesis is the analysis of the milk yield on a particular organic farm breeding goats. The milk yield was monitored and evaluated in the control range 2015-2017. The data was obtained from the yield checks carried out by SCHOK (Association of Goat and Sheep Breeders) and from the farm's own records. The testing was run on 526 White Shorthaired goats yielding 760,08 kg of milk for standard lactation with a fat content of 3.4% in 2017. There has been a trend of rising milk yields on the farm since 2015 when the yield reached 627.77 kg of milk with a fat content of 3.02%. This trend was statistically highly potent (P<0.01), as well as the protein content (%) in milk which has dropped from 2.97% to 2.73% during the the same period of time. In addition, 184 goats on the 1st lactation and 177 goats on the 2nd lactation belonging to 16 father lines were evaluated. These lines were compared to each other by individual milk yield indicators. In the lactose content (%) the Krasus line dominated (4.83%) which showed statistically significant difference (P<0.05) compared to the Molch and Emil lines whose lactose content was the lowest (4.51% and 4.53% respectively). The 2nd lactation testing evaluated the number of somatic cells in the milk, with an average value of the group monitored being 1543.12 thousand of somatic cells per one mililiter. The highest number of the SC was measured in the Bera line (4437.17 thousand SC/ml) with statistical conclusiveness (P<0.05) compared to Bernd (758.5 thousand SC/ml), Curt (858.42 thousand SC/ml), Zub (444.24 thousand SC/ml), and Zuzek (696.77 thousand SC/ml) lines which reached the lowest values. In other observed milk yield parameters, the lines on both lactations showed marked differences in the values achieved but they were not statistically proven.

Ekologická etika / Ecological ethics

Valentová, Kristýna January 2019 (has links)
The issue of ecological ethics has often been discussed because it is important for the development of further generations. Nature and culture are not at the same level, yet culture is subordinate to nature. Because of human influence, the harmony of nature is endangered and we live in an ecological crisis. This master's thesis compares the opinions of experts in Czech environment who perceive the ecological ethics, collisions of nature and culture and environmental sphere from the point of philosophy. In the first part, there is a theoretical basis of ecological ethics and the elementary classification. Further, the development of ecological ethics in the Czech phylosophical thinking is presented. In the main part, the author always explores two selected ideas of Czech professionals - Erazim Kohák, Josef Šmajs, Hana Librová, Petr Jemelka and Jan Patočka. The conclusion of the thesis is that although all the authors come from various conceptions, their results are more or less corresponding. It is fundamental to accept a personal responsibility and not to long for power and profit. It is imporant to indicate and become aware of ecological crisis and start to solve it on our own at first (e. g. by voluntary modesty and awareness that we leave a legacy for further generations). We do not need to live...

Kolářová, Marta January 2014 (has links)
Starting point. Voluntary simplicity is a form of lifestyle. Its typical feature is selection intensity in all areas of human life. Severity of voluntary simplicity lies in self-control of consumer behavior in the daily confrontation with the media pressure, which is oriented at a high rate of consumption. The task of this thesis was to find out if people raised in voluntarily simple families keep living this way, or if they turned away from this lifestyle and joined the high consumption society. Methods and results. Research included 40 respondents who met the requirement that voluntary simplicity was part of their upbringing. Addressed were people from alternatively living groups (preppers, ecovillages, macrobiotics, minimalists, forums dedicated to maternal education and child care, and other groups possessing forums on an alternative way of life of voluntary simplicity). The investigation was conducted by a questionnaire which was distributed electronically among respondents. We found that 13 out of 40 respondents (32,5 %) fully met our stated profile of voluntary simplicity.
