Charakteristika problematiky brownfieldů, základní přehled mezinárodních zkušeností. Důvody vzniku brownfieldů a současná situace v České republice se zaměřením především na nástroje řešení, příslušné instituce a jejich programy a související legislativu. Příklady některých realizovaných projektů. Stručný návrh strategie, včetně institucionálního zajištění a výčtu některých možností, jak předcházet vzniku nových brownfieldů.

The thesis is centred on the environmental tax reform in the Czech Republic and the evaluation of its incidence on environmental tax payers. The aim is to describe the advance working of questionnaire investigation. It is instrumental to the induced costs of taxation estimation. The thesis descibes furthermore the process of the choice of the tax payers sample.

We can find ecological taxation in every EU-15 countries and their importance grow continually. Czech "green" reform appear from the German draft. There was boot ecological taxation before ten years. It's enaugh time to estimation of their affects. The aim of this work is estimate the incidence of ecological taxation on tax subjects and tax system. This work show the state of German economy and tax system before and after the tax reform from year 1999 - 2003. There are presented winner and loser in conjunction with tax reform too. The forecast of future development is included in the last part of this work.

This work analyses possible impacts of environmental tax reforms (ETR) on czech companies the first year in force. It also focus on environmental taxation in Europe, its history and first ETRs in Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands and Germany. Czech ETR was introduced 1.1. 2008 and its main aspects are analysed.

The environmental protection is often in conflict with catching up the highest economic level of the country. In some developed countries the higher economic level means also the higher pollution of the environment. Indeed, this is applied only till one point -- the turning point -- from which the trend is applied vice-versa, the higher the economic prosperity of the country, the lower the pollution of the environment. This phenomenon is in environmental economics called the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC). Diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of the EKC, from detailed description of the theoretic and econometric framework, factors influencing the EKC, to crucial studies which were published in this area of economics. In connection with the factors influencing EKC the thesis underline the important role of the environmental regulation and state or international ecologic policy, which the work is dealing in initiate part with. The aim of the work is to analyze if the EKC hypothesis is valid in reality or not. Furthermore the diploma thesis targets also the situation of the developing countries -- if they have to go through the same path as nowadays developed countries or if they on the contrary use their experiences.

The thesis deals with the environmental policy of the European Union. It describes its basic principles and instruments, and characterizes the most important challenges related to the environmental protection. A part of the thesis is dedicated to the specific activities regarding the environmental protection within the European Union as well as on the international level. Particular attention is paid to the environmental policy implemented in the Czech Republic. The impact of the European Union on the Czech environmental policy is also included.

The thesis is focused on finding proper methods of business plan realisation, in order to launch an ecologic car wrecks disposal and recyclation company. Suggestions on how to conduct this project have been made according to IPMA competence baseline and analytic work has been done using MS Project tool. This thesis consists of theoretical information, analytical and practical part, focused on business plan description, and choice of a proper realisation methods.

Aim: The current study investigated a pattern of associations between executive functions and everyday functioning in a sample of schizophrenia patients with the aim to specify the ecological validity. The ecological validity as a specific form of external validity refers to the extent of the relation of the test outcome measures and patients' behaviour in everyday situations. Sample and methods: A sample of 77 patients (22 women and 55 men) with the diagnosis of schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder, who met study inclusion criteria, was assessed with several executive function tests: Wisconsin Card Sorting Test (WCST), Trail Making Test B (TMT B), Phonemic Verbal Fluency Test and Semantic Verbal Fluency Test (VF), Similarities from Wechsler Adult Inteligence Scale (WAIS III), Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure Test in Boston Qualitative Scoring System (BQSS), and with rating scales for patients' behavior in everyday situations - Personal and Social Performance Scale (PSPs), newly developed clinical scale (CliSca), Interview for Assessment of Insight (SAI) and patients' self rating in Social Functioning Scale (SFS). The aim of the thesis is to analyse environmental insurance in the Czech Republic and in selected countries of the EU, particularly in Germany, Finland, and Great Britain. Using the descriptive method in the theoretical part, the relationship among economy and environment, market failures, insurance, and damage done to the environment are elaborated upon. The practical part concerns the existing environmental insurance, based on legislation that exists for each country studied herein, and provides a survey of the available environmental insurance. The author evaluates positive and negative aspects of the insurance of the selected countries in relation to the Czech Republic. The conclusion delivers proposals for the improvement of environmental insurance in the Czech Republic.
