This diploma thesis deals with the design of the conveyor lifter with a pallet according to specified parameters. The thesis includes functional, dimensional and strength calculations, control of the most stressed part using finite element method. Part of the thesis is also an assessment of the maintenance and operation requirements of the machine. The thesis is accompanied by drawing documentation of selected assemblies.

This diploma thesis deals with the detection of the current floor during elevator ride. This functionality is necessary for robot to move in multi-floor building. For this task, a fusion of accelerometric data during the ride of the elevator and image data obtained from the information display inside the elevator cabin is used. The research describes the already implemented solutions, data fusion methods and image classification options. Based on this part, suitable approaches for solving the problem were proposed. First, datasets from different types of elevator cabins were obtained. An algorithm for working with data from the accelerometric sensor was developed. A convolutional neural network, which was used to classify image data from displays, was selected and trained. Subsequently, the data fusion method was implemented. The individual parts were tested and evaluated. Based on their evaluation, integration into one functional system was performed. System was successfully verified and tested. Result of detection during the ride in different elevators was 97%.

This diploma work deals with a production technology of a tractive bearer rope wheel as a part of a hoist-elevator. A design and technological analysis of the components is studied, including a functional analysis of the grooves, a selection of the material of semi-manufactured blank, a selection of the cutting materials and production machines also. New CNC programs for production of the part have been worked-out. The work includes some suggestions for testing of the part function.

This diploma work deals with a production technology of a casing for a gear-less elevator in a batch production. A technological analysis of the product is done, including two grades of materials for castings or weldments. The technology of machining includes a NC program. Both production variants have been assessed and the optimal production according to selected criteria is recommended.

This Master´s thesis describes the design of composite horizontal tail of VUT 100 aircraft. Load calculation and selection of the critical load cases is performed. Internal structure of stabilizer and right elevator is designed. Construction materials are chosen and the structure of the composite materials is proposed. FEM models of stabilizer and the right elevator are created in MSC Patran system and consequently the strength test of the models for the selected load cases is executed using MSC Nastran software and COMPOST.

Master project is dedicated to design nearly zero-energy office building with retail spaces in Žilina. The first part deals with architectural – building design. Building is designed for the plot nr. 7011 with flat surface and there is no other building. The building has three above-ground floors and one underground floor. Retail spaces are on the ground floor. The building is constructed on foundation strips and pads. The building is made of combined load-bearing structural system of reinforced concrete columns and external walls. External load-bearing structures of above ground floors are designed from reinforced concrete and Ytong system supplemented by ETICS made of mineral wool. Underground walls are made from watertight concrete. Floor slab structures are made from reinforced concrete. The building is covered with green warm flat roof. The second part deals with building interior installation. The primary source of heat, coldness and hot water is the heat pump. Ventilation in the building is provided by heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) units. The third part of the thesis includes the design and assessment of the photovoltaic power plant in terms of economics and ecology. The project was carried out in the AutoCad system. All structures comply with the valid standards and regulations.

Denna uppsats avser att fokusera på kvinnor i mansdominerade branscher, i synnerhet inom byggbranschen för att göra en avgränsning. Vi vill se vilka upplevelser kvinnor i en mansdominerad bransch har kring ledarskap bland män. Detta på grund av att arbetsdelningen som existerar på arbetsmarknaden många gånger har bidragit till svårigheter för kvinnor att avancera sig till chefspositioner i arbetslivet. Både under proceduren till att nå en chefsposition men även under den tilldelade tjänsten som chef, stöter kvinnliga chefer på svårigheter i sin roll. Vi har av avsikt att belysa eventuella hinder som uppstår för kvinnliga chefer på mansdominerade yrken på grund av deras kön. Detta genom att testa våra utvalda teoretiska perspektiv och begrepp och för att se om det råder ojämlikhet på grund av kön, homosocialitet, glastak samt glashiss. Kvalitativa intervjuer utfördes och utifrån våra fyra intervjupersoners uttalanden fick vi fram ett resultat som gav oss svar på våra frågeställningar kring kvinnliga chefer i ett mansdominerat yrke. Resultatet tyder på att majoriteten av våra intervjupersoner än idag upplever mer särbehandling och hinder än möjligheter på den mansdominerade branschen de befinner sig i, på grund av att de är kvinnor. Dock upplevs känslor av att det är mer jämställt numera, i jämförelse med tidigare decennier. Därmed har vi utifrån våra intervjupersoner kunnat konstatera att problematiken i våra utvalda teoretiska perspektiv förekommer ännu i dagens samhälle och i Sverige som betraktas som ett civiliserat samhälle. We want to see what kind of experience women in a male-dominated industry have around leadership among men. Therefore, the separation existing in the work environment has brought difficulties for the women to advance to manager rolls in their work-life. Women encounter difficulties in their role as a manager also during the procedure to reach an executive position. We have the motive to clear obstacles that eventually come up for female managers in male-dominated professions due to their gender. By testing through our selected ideal point of view and term, to see if it counsels the inequality that exists between the two genders and homosociality, also when it comes to the glass ceiling. When evaluating numbers of interviews that were set up with four different people, their responses guided answers to questions regarding female managers in a male-dominated industry.  The results indicate that the majority of our numbers still experience more privileges and barriers than opportunities in the male-dominated industry that they occupy themselves in, because of their gender as females. However, feelings are felt that it is more equated nowadays compared to previous decades. We are able to conclude from our interviewers that the issue in our ideal point of view still exists in today's world, even in Sweden's civilized society, Through different obstacles, special treatments, and injustice between different sexes, women end up being subordinate to men. Diploma thesis deals with the design documentation of hotel building in the village of Dolní Lomná. The aim of the work was to create a unit that will be used for accommodation and catering of the guests and will not disturb the surroundings. The building was designed as a three-storey building. The hotel is devided to an operational part for staff, catering and accommodation for guests. The capacity of the beds is 32. The hotel is designed as a brick construction system. Roofing is as a saddle roof made of wooden truss above the 3rd floor. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part contains the textual evaluation of the construction of the hotel, the second part consists of the project documentation itself. The project documentation includes architectural and layout design, drawing up of building drawings, design of a fire safety solution of the building, basic thermal technical assessment.

The goal of this master’s thesis was to design and construct ninepin ball elevator for automated pin setter machine and ninepin ball launcher to simulate load and to verify correct function of the setter machine. Also, a ball track was designed as a means of transport for the ball from elevator to launcher. Theoretical part of thesis contains research into ninepin bowling, its rules and analysis of different applicable solutions found on the market that deal with automated pin setters and their ball elevators. Furthermore, a separate research into ball launchers was conducted. Practical part of thesis was comprised of own solution to design and construction of elevator, which extended already designed pin setter machine. After this, track for ball was designed and constructed together with ball launcher which imitates load that would the machine experience during usual game.

Diploma´s thesis of Senior citizens' home is compile in project documentation by legislation in force. Object is situated on plat 260/3 in Sadová. In the building, there are part with apartments and coffee room. It is three-storey cellarless building with flat roof. Acces to building and coffee room is barier-free including parking. House is with elevator. In each floor is barrier-free apartment. Project is compile including static analysis of connection girder, fire safety solution and thermal technical assessment.
