Diploma thesis "Sensory and emotional marketing" deals with engagement of sensory stimulations and try to clarify their meaning in commercial communication. It approaches this issue for which struggles to create a theoretical background. Emphasis is placed on the use of sensory stimuli, both within the various communication products or services, but also multiple-sensory involvement in the brand communication. After defining the basic concepts of marketing and brand management, the work is fully focused on the consumer and his behavior in the shopping environment. It also brings to the multiple-sensory communication as an opportunity, through which companies can gain a competitive advantage in the market. On the basis of practical examples there is demonstrated the effectiveness of the involvement of multiple sensory stimuli toward consumers. The final text is devoted an investigation, that was as part of this work done, and produces results revealing the importance of individual factors, focusing on selection of coffee and cafes.

Desenvolvimento de texturas com base em estudos biomiméticos acerca dos pássaros da espécie Sicalis flaveola (Canário-da-Terra) associado ao design emocional

O presente trabalho objetiva estudar uma aplicação biomimética, sustentada por estudos acerca dos passeriformes da espécie Sicalis flaveola (canário-da-terra), associada ao design de produtos conferindo a estes características intangíveis. A biomimética prioriza o estudo de sistemas e elementos naturais para a aplicação em projetos de demanda que busquem estratégias e soluções devidamente proporcionadas pela natureza. Os passeriformes (pássaros) são elementos naturais de grande relevância devido as suas características encantadoras de sobrevivência e formação estrutural. Neste contexto, o estudo desses elementos se mostra bastante relevante para o desenvolvimento de projetos que visem suprir as necessidades e exigências do mercado de consumo, considerando a associação com aspectos intangíveis, os quais interferem no significado simbólico do produto agregando valor emocional. No trabalho específico, busca-se o desenvolvimento de texturas baseadas na morfologia das penas do Sicalis flaveola para a aplicação em superfícies materiais, com base em análises macroscópicas e microscópicas que visem realçar as principais características estruturais, funcionais e estéticas das penas em estudo. Para isso, depois de definidas e aplicadas as texturas em chapas de diferentes materiais, estas foram disponibilizadas ao um público específico para verificar a interação entre usuário e objeto proposto a partir da realização das técnicas de análises sensoriais e entrevistas. Durante a execução do trabalho foram utilizadas, ainda, diferentes técnicas metodológicas, de pesquisas e análises referentes ao objeto de estudo, tais como, revisão literária, estudo de campo e experimentação do produto. Dessa forma, por meio das pesquisas e estudos realizados, buscou-se compreender a interação do usuário com as texturas propostas para possível aplicação em projetos de produtos, verificando as percepções sensoriais associadas às mesmas que agregam valor aos produtos e interferem na decisão de compra. / This work aims to establish an interaction between user and product, from a biomimetic point of view, supported by studies about the passerines Sicalis flaveola, associated with product design and intangible characteristics. Biomimetics prioritizes the study of natural systems and elements for the implementation of projects seeking strategies and solutions offered by the nature. The passerines (birds) are natural elements of great importance because of its charming features and structural formation. In this context, the study of these elements are very important for the development of projects aimed to meet the needs and demands of the consumer market, whereas the association with intangibles aspects. In this specific work, textures were developed based on the morphology of the feathers of the Sicalis flaveola applied to different materials surfaces, according with macroscopic and microscopic analysis that seek to highlight the main features of structural, functional and aesthetic of the feathers in study. After defined and applied textures in samples of different materials, these were made available to consumers to verify the interaction between user and proposed object from the realization of sensory analysis techniques and interviews. During the execution o f work were used also other different methodological techniques, research and analysis related to the object of study, such as literary review, field study and experimentation of product. Therefore, by means of these research and studies, the work sought to understand the user's interaction with the textures proposals for possible application in product design, verifying sensory perceptions associated with them that add value to products and influence the buying decision.

Impacto de la inteligencia emocional en el desempeño de los colaboradores en una empresa de tecnología en lima metropolitana / Impact of emotional intelligence on the performance of employees in a technology company in metropolitan Lima

En la presente investigación se buscó determinar cuál es el impacto de la Inteligencia Emocional en el desempeño de los colaboradores de una empresa de tecnología en Lima Metropolitana. El método de la investigación es descriptiva – explicativa. Se aplicó una encuesta en una muestra de 300 colaboradores de diversas áreas y de los cuatro Business United de la organización, identificándose tres subvariables específicas para medir la inteligencia emocional: Atención Emocional, Claridad Emocional y Regulación Emocional y para el desempeño contextual y desempeño de tareas. En cuanto a los resultados encontramos que el coeficiente de Correlación de Spearman es 0.780, en consecuencia, se puede afirmar que, el manejo de la Inteligencia Emocional de los colaboradores impacta significativamente en su desempeño en una empresa de tecnología en Lima Metropolitana. Asimismo, considerando la tendencia creciente de los puntajes de dispersión y el signo positivo r=0.780, se puede afirmar que la relación es directa, es decir, si el puntaje de inteligencia emocional se incrementa, se estima que el puntaje de desempeño laboral también se incrementa. En conclusión, la inteligencia emocional fue categorizada en 3 niveles: bajo, medio y alto. Se observa que la mayoría de los colaboradores tienen alto nivel de inteligencia emocional, esta representa el 63.3% del total de colaboradores; le sigue el nivel medio con el 34.3% y solo el 2.3% tienen nivel bajo. En el caso del desempeño laboral fueron categorizados en 3 niveles: malo, regular y bueno; obteniendo como resultados de que la mayoría de los colaboradores tienen buen desempeño laboral, esta representa el 58.3% del total de colaboradores. El 41% de colaboradores tienen desempeño medio, y solo el 0.7% tienen un mal desempeño. / In this research, we sought to determine what is the impact of Emotional Intelligence on the performance of the collaborators of a technology company in Metropolitan Lima. The research method is descriptive - explanatory. A survey was applied in a sample of 300 collaborators from different areas and from the four Business Units of the organization, identifying three specific variables to measure emotional intelligence: Emotional Attention, Emotional Clarity and Emotional Regulation and for contextual performance and task performance. Regarding the results, we found that the Spearman correlation coefficient is 0.780, consequently, it can be affirmed that the management of the Emotional Intelligence of the employees has a significant impact on their performance in a technology company in Metropolitan Lima. Also, considering the increasing tendency of the dispersion scores and the positive sign r = 0.780, it can be affirmed that the relationship is direct, that is, if the emotional intelligence score is increased, it is estimated that the work performance score is also Increase In conclusion, emotional intelligence was categorized into 3 levels: low, medium and high. It is observed that most of the collaborators have a high level of emotional intelligence, this represents 63.3% of the total number of collaborators; the average level follows with 34.3% and only 2.3% have a low level. Orientador: Sandro Caramaschi / Resumo: Aspectos influenciadores no desenvolvimento humano incluem a interação de fatores ambientais e inatos, como a constituição histórica e biológica do indivíduo, envolvendo compartilhamento de experiências e características individuais nas quais estabelecem e modificam pensamentos, emoções e comportamentos de pessoas e grupos de forma dinâmica. Nesse sentido, as emoções pertenceriam a condições biológicas inatas universais, equivalentes a uma comunicação passível de ser compreendida em qualquer cultura, tendo funções importantes no processo evolutivo. A tristeza, enquanto emoção básica, é uma das mais intensas da vida humana comparada às outras, a qual nem sempre possui aspectos negativos. Desta forma, os objetivos deste trabalho foram identificar e analisar os desencadeadores de tristeza, o interesse dos indivíduos por estímulos com conteúdo triste (música, filmes e notícias), além de testar o modelo preditivo tendo a autoestima, autorregulação emocional e ruminação como preditoras e a tristeza como variável dependente, comparando os resultados entre homens e mulheres. Para responder os objetivos, foram realizados dois estudos: o primeiro, de caráter descritivo e comparativo, e o segundo, de caráter exploratório e comparativo. Os resultados mostraram que a tristeza pode ser desencadeada por diversos fatores, como questões financeiras, trabalho, estudo, relações interpessoais e perdas, se assemelhando com dados de pesquisas realizadas em outras culturas. In this way, emotions belong to universal innate biological conditions, equivalent to a communication that can be understood in any culture, having important functions in the evolutionary process. Sadness, as a basic emotion, is one of the most intense in human life compared to others, which does not always have negative aspects. Thus, the objectives of this work were to identify and analyze the triggers of sadness, the interest of individuals in stimuli with sad content (music, films and news), in addition to testing the predictive model with self-esteem, emotional self-regulation and rumination as predictors and sadness as a dependent variable, comparing the results between men and women. To answer the objectives, two studies were carried out: the first, descriptive and comparative, and the second, exploratory and comparative. La investigación a través del estadístico Rho de Spearman a un 95% de confianza, ha demostrado que existe moderada relación entre la inteligencia emocional y las habilidades sociales con el rendimiento académico, de los estudiantes de la asignatura Bases Biológicas de la Psicologí. Estos resultados indican que cuando los estudiantes logran desarrollar su inteligencia emocional y sus habilidades sociales a un nivel marcadamente alto o muy alto, su rendimiento académico es muy bueno o excelente. Estilos de Aprendizaje y el Cansancio Emocional en estudiantes de secundaria de un colegio privado de Lima Metropolitana / Learning styles and emotional exhaustion in high school students at a private school in Lima Metropolitana

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue identificar la diferencia en los puntajes de cansancio emocional según el tipo de estilo de aprendizaje en estudiantes de secundaria de un colegio privado de Lima Metropolitana. Para ello se evaluó 156 estudiantes (52.6% mujeres y 47.4 % hombres), cuyas edades oscilaron entre 15 y 17 años. Fueron evaluados con la adaptación peruana (Escurra, 1992) del Inventario de Estilos de aprendizaje (Kolb, 1984) y la adaptación peruana (Domínguez, 2013) de la Escala de Cansancio Emocional (Ramos et al., 2005). Como resultados principales se encontró que existen diferencias significativas entre el estilo acomodador y los estilos convergente, asimilador y mixto, presentándose en los tres casos un mayor cansancio emocional en los estudiantes con un estilo de aprendizaje acomodador. Así mismo, se encontró una diferencia significativa entre el estilo divergente y los estilos asimilador y mixto, presentándose en ambos casos un mayor cansancio emocional en los estudiantes con un estilo de aprendizaje divergente. Además, se encontró que existe una diferencia significativa de cansancio emocional según el género, siendo las mujeres las que puntúan más alto. Los resultados destacan la importancia de propiciar maneras diferentes de aprender para retar las capacidades del estudiante y evitar el cansancio emocional de éste. / The aim of this research was to identify the difference in emotional fatigue scores according to the type of learning style in high school students of a private school in the Metropolitan Area of Lima. The sample included a total of 156 students (52.6% women and 47.4% men), whose ages ranged between 15 and 17 years. They were evaluated with the Peruvian adaptation (Escurra, 1992) of the Learning Style Inventory (Kolb, 1984) and the Peruvian adaptation (Domínguez, 2013) of the Emotional Exhaustion Scale (Ramos et al., 2005). As main results it was found significant differences between the accommodative style and the convergent, assimilative and mixed styles, presenting in all three cases a greater emotional exhaustion in students with an accommodative learning style. Likewise, a significant difference was found between the divergent style and the assimilative and mixed style, presenting in both cases a greater emotional exhaustion in students with a divergent learning style. In addition, it was found significant difference in emotional exhaustion according to gender, with women scoring higher. Inteligencia emocional y burnout en docentes de educación inicial de Ayacucho / Emotional intelligence and burnout in early education teachers in Ayacucho

El presente estudio relaciona la inteligencia emocional y el burnout en una muestra de 294 docentes de género femenino de educación inicial en Ayacucho, de 23 a 65 años (Medad = 40). Se utilizó la Escala de Inteligencia Emocional (WLEIS) y el Cuestionario de Burnout del Profesorado Revisado (CBP-R). Los resultados reportaron que existen correlaciones negativas entre el burnout y el uso (rnúcleo del burnout = -.38; rfalta de realización = -.33; p < .01), regulación (rnúcleo del burnout = -.28; rfalta de realización= -.26; p < .01), valoración de las propias emociones (rburnout nucleus = -.25 rfalta de realización = -.21; p < .01). Por otro parte, al comparar la inteligencia emocional y el burnout con la situación laboral, se determinó que las docentes nombradas se sienten realizadas (U= 8328, z = -2.35, p = .02, RP=.42), usan sus propias emociones (U = 8417, z = -2.23, p = .03, RP= .42) y valoran sus emociones (U = 8330.50, z = -2.35, p = .02, RP= .42), a diferencia de las contratadas. En relación con los estudios de segunda especialidad y diplomados, las docentes que poseen dicha formación usan sus propias emociones (U = 8615, z = -2.33, p = .02, RP= .42), a diferencia de aquellas que no cuentan con dichos estudios. Finalmente, las maestras con auxiliar en el aula usan las propias emociones (U = 7942, z = -3.33, p = .00, RP= .39), valoran sus emociones (U = 8870.5, z = -2.01, p = .04, RP= .43) y se sienten realizadas (U = 8686, z = -2.27, p = .02, RP= .42) a diferencia de aquellas que no cuentan con auxiliar. / This research relates emotional intelligence and burnout in a sample of 294 female teachers of initial education in Ayacucho, aged 23 to 65 (Medad = 40). As intervenções psicológicas, com foco no período pós-parto, podem ser um meio eficaz de reduzir o risco de desenvolver transtornos mentais mais graves, como uma opção de tratamento eficaz. Este trabalho pretendeu avaliar os efeitos de um programa de intervenção psicoterapêutica e educativa pós-natal, com foco na saúde emocional materna. As ações foram divididas em três estudos: o Estudo1: Saúde emocional de mães de bebês: fatores de risco associados as variáveis sociodemográficas, descritivo; o Estudo 2: Elaboração e implementação de um Programa de Intervenção Terapêutico Educativo para mães de bebês com indicadores clínicos emocionais, um relato de experiencia e o Estudo 3: Efeitos de uma intervenção em grupo considerando os indicadores clínicos emocionais de mães de bebês, sobre os efeitos da intervenção. O Estudo 1 teve como objetivo identificar associações entre as variações emocionais e variáveis sociodemográficas. A amostra foi composta por 353 mulheres aos três meses do pós-parto, que frequentavam atendimento para acompanhamento de desenvolvimento de seus bebês em duas instituições do interior de São Paulo, que responderam aos seguintes instrumentos: Escala de Depressão Pós-Parto de Edimburgo (EDPE), inventário de Ansiedade Traço-Estado (IDATE), o Índice de Stress Parental (PSI) e a Esca... This work aimed to evaluate the effects of a postnatal psychotherapeutic and educational intervention program, focusing on health maternal emotional. The actions were divided into: Study1: Emotional health on mothers of babies: risk factors associated with sociodemographic variables; Study 2: Elaboration and implementation of an Educational Therapeutic Intervention Program for mothers of babies with clinical emotional health indicators and, Study 3: Effects of a group intervention considering the emotional health indicators on mothers of babies. Las nuevas corrientes del conocimiento y éxito empresarial de los últimos años ha sido la correcta gestión del recuso humano para lograr un rendimiento optimo y cumplir con los objetivos organizacionales, es por ello que el propósito del estudio fue crear una propuesta de gestión por competencias para una financiera de la ciudad de Chiclayo, para ello se identificó las competencias que poseen los colaboradores y las competencias que requieren los directivos de esta. Se desarrollo una investigación de nivel descriptivo de tipo propositivo, con diseño no experimental. La población estuvo formada por los colaboradores de todos los niveles a excepción de directivos, siendo cien su totalidad. Se aplico un cuestionario de treinta ítems, el cual tuvo un nivel de confiabilidad de 0.94 según el Alfa de Cronbach. Se concluye según los resultados que los colaboradores poseen solo tres de las seis competencias las cuales son comunicación efectiva, innovación e inteligencia emocional, siendo estas dimensiones indispensables para un rendimiento favorable de la organización.

Influencia de la inteligencia emocional en el desempeño laboral de los trabajadores del Gobierno Regional de Lambayeque –Chiclayo

El estudio presenta como objetivo principal determinar la influencia de la inteligencia emocional en el desempeño laboral de los trabajadores del Gobierno Regional de Lambayeque, para ello se analizaron 4 objetivos específicos entre los cuales están determinar el nivel de la inteligencia emocional de los trabajadores del Gobierno Regional de Lambayeque, determinar el nivel de desempeño laboral de los trabajadores del Gobierno Regional de Lambayeque; determinar la relación de las dimensiones de la inteligencia emocional en el desempeño laboral de los trabajadores del Gobierno Regional de Lambayeque y por último determinar la influencia de las dimensiones de la inteligencia emocional en el desempeño laboral de los trabajores del Gobierno Regional de Lambayeque. Para ello la población censal fue de 169 colaboradores que participaron en esta investigación, respondiendo a un cuestionario de los autores Coleman y Borman para medir el desempeño laboral y de Salovey e Mayer para medir la inteligencia emocional. Como resultado de la investigación se obtuvo que sí existe influencia de la inteligencia emocional de la inteligencia emocional en el desempeño laboral de los trabajadores del Gobierno Regional de Lambayeque.
