This thesis deals with the measurement of power quality. The evaluating quality parameters, data collection systems and transfer technologies will be discussed. The various type of cryptographic algorithms are also described. Cryptographic algorithms, which ensure to secure data communications from remote collection points of measurement, will be realized. These cryptographic algorithms will be realized in MATLAB and C/C++. The last part is focus on designed and implemented a simulation model to telemetry the power quality.

The aim of this work is to prove the practical applicability of the concept of contactless energy transfer using induction coils. The first part deals with the mathematical model and theoretical proof of the concept being able to work in practice and describes the process of detecting resonance of receiver circuit on transmitter side. Next chapter describes hardware solution of the experimental prototype. The last part contains measurement results of a coupling coefficient of coils and discusses performance and notable features of the prototype.

This Master´s thesis deals with problematics of wind powered generators and their use in off-grid systems. In its first chapters aspects of wind as a power source are analyzed. Further on the thesis focuses on individual components of the off-grid systems. Also designing procedures of these systems are presented in the paper. The key parts of the thesis are 3 off-grid wind power system designs, which can be used to power a family house, and their energetical and economical evaluation.

The entire diploma thesis analyses causes, consequences and repercussions of an electricity grid network blackout and its impact to the respective consumers. Remarkable blackouts recorded since 1965 are briefly described and basic available information is considered. The grid standard fixing measures and electricity delivery priorities are characterized. The thesis also pays attention to entire Czech Republic grid availability and its blackout endurance as well as to its robustness within last several years. Indirect Fukushima event influence to the Czech Republic electricity system is mentioned. The main part of the thesis comprises of four big European grid blackouts causes and consequences, their comparison to each other and to the Dukovany nuclear power plant grid blackout drill scenario. The preventive and standard corrective measures against blackouts are pointed out.

This Master´s thesis describes different methods of wireless transmitting of energy: electromagnetic induction, electrostatic induction, laser radiation, transfer of energy by microwaves. This thesis is focused on wireless transfer of energy by microwaves. The paper describes the individual parts of the rectenna. Comparison of different types of antennas for use in the rectenna was made. In this thesis is described set of requirements for design of rectenna. Was made design of the rectenna and its simulation.

The thesis is focused on the design of antennas for wireless power transfer inside a car near the frequency of 8 GHz. In the last century, a number of scientists dealt with wireless transmission of energy with high power and long distances. Currently, attention is given to methods capable of transmitting energy with good effectively over a distance of meters for charging mobile devices, wireless sensors and other devices with low power consumption.

The Master’s thesis deals with the strategy analysis of current situation in a nameless company carrying business in power engineering. On the basis of recognized matter encourage proposals which are important for improve of standing in a company.

The master’s thesis deals with energy assessment of buildings according to a current valid legislature. In the first part the energy assessments problems are solved. The next part solves the energy concept of the educational building, Pavilion P4, AdMaS centre of Faculty of Civil Engineering of BUT, in the form of project documentation. In the part of thesis there is a simulation characterizing dynamic behavior of building. The thesis point is the evaluation of energy balance and a draft of measures leading to the power consumption decrease.

The aim of this thesis is the design and building services systems in buildings with energy close to zero. The thesis 2 variants were designed heating and DHW. In variant 2 is considered with the photovoltaic system to generate electricity that is used up mainly in the building. It is part of the thesis experiment, whose aim was to monitor and evaluate the structure of electricity consumption in the residential unit.

This thesis describes the design of a cogeneration unit, its design and operational optimization. The theoretical part explains the principles of cogeneration and the associated advantages and disadvantages, also describes the different types of units and their main components and their suitability for use in various types of buildings. The second part of this thesis deals with a design of cogeneration unit in selected building. Design of cogeneration unit consists of evaluation of the object itself, through the selection of suitable units, optimalization of a selected range of cogeneration units, to the final financial analysis. The part of the thesis are also project drawings, which shows the current status of the heating system and subsequently scheme with the possible involvement of cogeneration units in the existing system.
