The objective of this dissertation is to suggest the structure of new IS in the company, to suit the recent data flows, and simultaneously to satisfy the needs of the user. According to the suggestions and concepts mentioned in the thesis, it should be possible to pre – set a completely functional IS.

The master's thesis is focused on creation internal directives for selected company. The thesis includes the legislative background of accounting and areas, for which were created directives. Intradepartmental adaptations of these documents were created in accordance with legislation and needs of company. They were created suggestions for new directions for the chart of accounts, business trips and travelling expenses, foreign currency rates and luncheon vouchers.

The aim of this thesis is to define the subjective value of stock company VINSELEKT MICHLOVSKÝ by using selected yield methods of valuation. Valuation will be made to 1. January 2011 and will be used for internal needs of management. The theoretical part explains the main concepts and describes the methodological approaches, related to the valuation of the company. Theoretical basis of literature search are developed and applied to specific business entity in the next section. The practical part is introducing the evaluated company, includes the results of the strategic and financial analysis and in the final stage also the suggestion of valuation.

This thesis deals with the operational business lending . There is an analysis of current capabilities in the lending operations of banks subjectively defined , and the selection of the best product in the specific context of a fictitious business in this thesis. Based on the results of the analysis and comparison is given a rank of banks and they provide products that are suitable for fictitious businesses.

The purpose of the theses is to make a business plan for the hotel with restaurant. The external and internal factor analyses are used for the given enterprise. The company is in restaurant and accommodation industry. The main focus is to create a plan and identify opportunities for the future growth.

This thesis deals with the very topical issue in the sphere of the expert activity, which is requested by the general public at the same time. It sets a task of improvement, or better to saythe simplification in the approach to the appraising of real estate, with the aid of systemic methodology. There is as an example of the correct application of systemic methodology in the preparation of a sample expert opinion used in real estate (apartment house) located in Brno – Starý Lískovec. The property in question is appraised in accordance with the assignment by using the systemic approachonly after the evaluation of the current situation in appraising and discussing systemic methodology. A systemic approach to the appraising of aproperty is appropriately chosen largely because it better ensures the indispensable fact that, in the case of the expert opinion made by an expert, it is practically impossible to omit those important requisites which are inextricably linked to the expert opinion.

The thesis presents general principles of data mining and it also focuses on specific needs of social networks. Certain social networks, chosen with respect to popularity and availability to Czech users, are discussed from various points of view. The benefits and drawbacks of each are also mentioned. Afterwards, one suitable API is selected for futher analysis. The project explains harvesting data via Twitter API and the process of mining of data from this particular network. Design of a mining algorithm inspired by density based clustering methods is described. The implementation is explained in its own chapter, preceded by thorough explanation of MVC architectural pattern. In the end some examples of usage of gathered knowledge are shown as well as possibility of future extensions.

This thesis focuses on temporal databases and their multimedia and spatial extensions. The introduction of this work summarizes results in the area of research of temporal databases - key concepts of a TSQL2 language and post-relational extension of Oracle database are introduced. Main part of the thesis is design of an interpreter as a layer between user application and relational database.  In the next part of the thesis control of integrity constraints in temporal databases are discussed. Result of this work is functional interpreter of TSQL2 language able to store post-relational data.

This thesis describes the problems of storage and management of biological data, particularly of Haloalkane Dehalogenase enzymes. Furthermore, the thesis aims at project HADES (HAloalkane DEhalogenase databaSe) initiated by protein engineering group of Loschmidt Laboratories, Masaryk University in Brno. This is a project whose main goal is simply to store, preserve and display a wide variety of proteins data. The result of this work is a flexible database system allowing easy extensibility and maintainability, which is built on technologies Apache, PostgreSQL and PHP using the Zend Framework.

This diploma thesis is aimed at the issue of synergistic effects selected consolidated entities in the Czech Republic. The objective of this thesis is the evaluation of whether the synergic effects arise in selected concerns from "Wholesale trade, retail trade; repairs and motor retail trade" industry. The decision about the presence of synergistic effects is based on the comparison of values of selected indicators for parent company and the concern.
