Postava apoštola Petra v díle evangelisty Lukáše / The Image of the Apostle Peter in the Work of the Evangelist Luke

Suroviak, Jaroslav January 2016 (has links)
The Image of the Apostle Peter in the Work of the Evangelist Luke. This thesis focuses on examining the character of the leader of the group Twelve in the work of Luke the Evangelist. Introduction outlines the baseline of the entire treatise. The first part of the chapter presents information on the author of two New Testament writings himself, followed by an indication of the circumstances under which the work was shaped. Afterwards the views of experts are presented on the possible sources from which the author composed and edited the final text. This part ends in effort to determine the expected place and time of origin of the whole work. The second part of the first chapter informs on the theology of Luke's writings. This part contains discussion of the authors' intentions and theological accents with regard to the first of the apostles. Due to more complex view there is also mentioned a statistical survey of the character Peter the Apostle in episodes of different New Testament books. The second chapter forms the backbone of the work, and again in two subsections presents information obtained by studying the available literature on all periscopes in Luke's diptych in which the leader of the Apostles emerges as one of the main characters. The first part relates to the stories enrolled in the...

Být jako děti? Exegeze perikopy Mk 10,13-16 / To be as children? Exegesis of Mark 10:13-16

Reichel, František January 2016 (has links)
To Be As A Children? Exegesy Of Mk 10:13-16 The study deals with the exegesis of the pericope of the Gospel of Mark (Mk 10:13-16), generally known under the title The Little Children and Jesus. A part of the work is dedicated to the text of the pericope, not only from the point of view of its Czech translation, but also with consideration of the Greek text through which we strive to understand the original message of the author and its perception by the then recipients as well as the contemporary ones. To grasp the studied text better, it is perceived in the immediate context of the Transjordan passage of the Second Gospel, as well as in the broader context of the entire Gospel of Mark. Mark's text and his compositions are also compared with the parallel texts of synoptic gospels whose authors used Mark's original as a background. Two separate chapters are dedicated to the analysis of two crucial terms of Jesus's statement in the fifteenth verse: children - as the ancient and postmodern interpretations may differ significantly - and the kingdom of God, which is the core of the pericope, as well as the entire Mark's narration of Jesus's earthly preaching. The purpose of the work is to interpret the story and to understand, in depth, Jesus's statement: "Anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God...

A anencefalia fetal e o aborto na Evangelium Vitae do Papa João Paulo II

Silva, Adriano Corrêa da 15 May 2012 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2016-04-29T14:27:21Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 Adriano Correa da Silva.pdf: 767159 bytes, checksum: 98715671b34dc515d4c05204b457d9e2 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2012-05-15 / ADVENIAT / Amid the various threats that human life is, the Catholic Church cools further its mission inherited by Christ to proclaim the Gospel of Life to the universality of the people, for she firmly believes that human life, even when marked by weaknesses, and even by physical or mental disabilities, pre-and postnatal, is always a splendid gift of God to be protected. This is the horizon of the defense of human life, and more precisely, the cases of fetal anencephaly, that their dissertation converges to evidence in the light of Christian revelation, but also through interdisciplinarity, that human life is a fundamental principle and primary among all values between different cultures. Therefore, the first chapter is about an expression often used by John Paul II - "culture of life" - which, in turn, must be cultivated and propagated throughout the world as the center of the message proclaimed by Christ and his Church as delegated depository of Evangelium Vitae and in time in the history of mankind, for man alive is the first and fundamental way for the Church. For this purpose, the respective chapter discusses the aspect of biblical-theological conception of human life and human being. In the second chapter, in contrast to the first, is the explanation of the terminology - "culture of death" - since there are numerous signs that arise to threaten human life, and nascent human life, God-given as a gift. And one of the threats to human dignity still in its early uterine culture is the death of abortion legislation that attempts to expand worldwide, including in the current Brazilian Congress, to include cases of fetal anencephaly. Finally, the third chapter, such as character conclusion reaffirms the defense of human life as a task and responsibility that must be taken not only by the Church of Christ, but for all people of good will as a way to go before a question of survival of humanity itself, which must be awakened, increasingly, develop an ethical principle against the defense of human life, especially the helpless intra-uterine life / Em meio às diversas ameaças em que a vida humana se encontra, a Igreja Católica arrefece ainda mais a sua missão herdada por Cristo de anunciar o Evangelho da Vida à universalidade dos povos, pois ela crê firmemente, que a vida humana, mesmo quando marcada por fragilidades, e até mesmo por deficiências físicas ou mentais, pré e pósnatal, é sempre um dom esplêndido de Deus a ser protegido.

Adventisté sedmého dne mezi modernou a postmodernou / Seventh-Day Adventists between modernism and postmodernism

JETELINA, Bedřich January 2012 (has links)
This work reflects on how the Seventh-day Adventist Church meets the challenges of postmodernism, despite itself having its roots deep in the modern era. The first part deals with the origin of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the development of its dogma. It primarily focuses on the Thomas Reid?s philosophy of common sense and describes the Adventist statements of dogma that are typical of this church and were influenced by the philosophy of common sense. The second part analyses how this church deals with the challenges of the postmodern era. It describes the current categorisation of Adventist theology on the basis of the differing macro-hermeneutic of the individual streams that depend on how they view the relationship between God and time. It also indicates the practical impacts that these various approaches to church praxis lead to. The aim of this work is to be as objective as possible in describing the current situation and show the potential risks and solutions that the church and its members face. In the author?s opinion, an adequate response to the problems of Adventism in the postmodern era can be found in shifting the emphasis to a general Christian perspective and in redefining specifically Adventist teachings.

Ježíšova blahoslavenství v kontextu Matoušova evangelia / The Jesus' Beatitudes in the Context of the Gospel of Matthew

Ondruš, Jiří January 2020 (has links)
Bc. Ji í Ondruš The Jesus' Beatitudes in the Context of the Gospel of Matthew Anotace v anglickém jazyce: The Jesus' Beatitudes cannot be understood as a completely isolated part of Jesus' teaching. Therefore, the knowledge of the whole gospel of Matthew is necessary for their understanding. In this thesis I compare the individual words contained in the Beatitudes with the same words in the Gospel of Matthew outside the Beatitudes. By this means I find the meaning of Jesus' message in the Beatitudes contained in the Gospel of Matthew. I also present and compare ancient Greek copies (the Sinai Code and the Vatican Code) and six most famous Czech translations of this Gospel. I also compare the exegesis of well-known biblical scholars, especially what they agree on, but also what they fundamentally differ on. An important part is also a synoptic comparison with the Beatitudes of the evangelist Luke. The aim of this thesis is to get as close as possible to the meaning of the specific section of Mt 5: 1-12, which represents the lifelong program of Jesus' followers, but also Jesus. Jesus introduces himself at the beginning of the mountain sermon. He speaks not only of how his disciples are supposed to be, but also of how he is.

Ježíšovo vyčištění jeruzalémského Chrámu: historičnost a teologické akcenty v jednotlivých evangeliích / Jesus' Purification of the Jerusalem Temple: Historicity and Theological Accents in Gospels

Gallas, Leo January 2018 (has links)
The thesis "Jesus Cleansing the Jerusalem Temple: History and Theological Accents in Individual Gospels" deals with the event described by all four canonical Gospels. The paper describes the appearance of the Jerusalem Temple in Jesus' time and selected aspects of its spiritual, political, economic and sociological role in the life of the Jewish population of Palestine in the 1st century AD. The author notices the selected negative circumstances that could have led Jesus of Nazareth to enter the Jerusalem temple with the intention of disrupting the order and returning the Temple to its original purpose. The author pays great attention to evidence to confirm the theory that the "event" in the Temple occurred twice. One at the beginning of Jesus' public activity (described in the Gospel according to John) and once at the end (described in synoptics). Further, the author pays attention to the arguments in support of the historicity of the described events. Keywords Jesus of Nazareth, Jerusalem Temple, Gospel, Historicity, Cleansing of the Temple

Jakub, bratr Páně, v Novém zákoně / James, brother of the Lord, in the New Testament

Brabenec, Jakub January 2020 (has links)
The thesis follows one of the supporting characters from the New Testament, James, the brother of the Lord. The first chapter deals with the meaning and occurrence of the name James in both biblical and non-biblical sources. The following second chapter deals with the canonical biblical texts that depict fragments of James' life. However, many questions remain about the closer characterization of our wanted person James and the form of his earthly family. The thesis also examines whether James could or could not really be the brother of Jesus of Nazareth. Through the analysis of texts we look for the answer that canonical texts give us.Subsequently, in the third chapter attention is also directed to the apocryphal and non-biblical sources that govern us about our James. In connection with the wanted James is mentioned and the first church community in Jerusalem, in which James played a significant leadership role. The aim of the thesis is to describe the character of James, the brother of the Lord, by means of all analyzed sources. In conclusion, a summary possible solution of questions concerning James, the Lord's Brother is presented. Keywords James, brothers of the Lord, Acts of the Apostles, the primary Christian community in Jerusalem.
