Šlechtová, Tereza January 2019 (has links)
The thesis deals with morbidity in terms of socio-demographic and economic factors and mortality structure at the district level in the Czech Republic in 2007–2017. Using the composite indicator, cluster analysis and factor analysis, we investigated regional disparities of selected indicators. The results show that the area of morbidity and mortality of the population in the districts of the Czech Republic is regionally differentiated. Big impact plays the socio-economic situation (unemployment, the share of university graduates, housing payments), infant mortality or the old age dependency ratio. In general, the least favorable situation in the area of morbidity was in districts with negative socio-economic development.

Kovářová, Lenka January 2011 (has links)
Title: About identification of motor predispositions in triathlon Aims: The aim of our study was to find and verify appropriate indicators predicting the on-coming performance in a short triathlon and determine their level for the junior category. Methods: In our study, we combined quantitative and qualitative approaches with a predominance of quantitative methods. In the first phase of the research, we used quantitative methods, confirmatory factor analysis for verification of models of predispositions and elaboration of performance standards for individual tests by means of T-points. In the second part of the research, we used the qualitative method (casuistic studies) to validate the test battery and its application in practice. Results: We have compiled a structural model of motor predispositions for short triathlon, which explained 91% of all cross-correlations of seventeen used indicators. Predispositions for triathlon were categorized into five separate groups; for swimming, cycling and running (i.e. according to individual disciplines), and functional and psychological predispositions. Finding a lower limit boundary of performance in the completed tests is considered to be the most important issue for the assessment of future performance in triathlon. As a lower limit we have set the zone...

Využití konceptu safe harbour pro stanovení převodních cen / Safe Harbour Concept in Transfer Pricing

Kolář, Michal January 2017 (has links)
Tax administrations worldwide provide taxpayers with favour and offer them the opportunity to set up transfer pricing system according to pre-agreed criteria. When taxpayer´s system complies with, a tax administrator does not dispute the transaction. Any predefined arrangement leading to the recognition of transfer pricing system by the tax administrator can be defined as a safe harbour. It was found out during the review process of current sources, that there is no relevant research available focused on assessing the appropriateness of introducing safe harbour system for both businesses and government. At the same time, even the OECD does not work with data that would conclusively prove the impact of transfer pricing regulation on companies´ behaviour. For this reason, a research was conducted in this area with focus on the potential of safe harbour to affect tax contributions of enterprises. Financial data were rendered from Amadeus database. The impact of safe harbour system was observed on the time series development of taxation of particular cluster. Cluster analysis was selected as the most suitable method for grouping companies.

Škubalová, Michaela January 2012 (has links)
The goal of the master's thesis is to find out similarities or differences among consumers in the Czech beer market by using primary and secondary research and content analysis. The thesis contains two parts, the theoretical and the practical one. Market segmentation, marketing research and Czech beer market are described in the theoretical part. The practical part includes market segmentation by using secondary data (agency data MML-TGI with Data Analyzer software), primary data (own research with SPSS software) and content analysis of print advertisements. Segmentation is realized by variety of methods, e. g. cluster and factor analysis, general analysis, contingency tables, MCART analysis, media neutral quintiles etc. Post hoc segmentation (forward and backward) is used in this thesis. At the end of this master's thesis detected segments are characterized and marketing suggestions for each of them are stated.
