Segmentace trhu kávy / Segmentation of the coffee market

Tůma, David January 2013 (has links)
This Master's Thesis is focused on analysis of segmentation of the coffee market in the Czech Republic based on similarities and differences between users of coffee. Uncovering segments and development was carried out in a software program Data Analyzer and PASW using data from primary research and unique agency research MML-TGI of company Median s.r.o. The theoretical part presented problems, approaches, method of segmentation and types of coffee. The practical part starts with analyzing and defining the market in the Czech Republic. The target group of users was subsequently characterized by a general analysis. Variables were reduced to the factors by using factor analysis. Then users were put into clusters based on cluster analysis. Segments were characterized in detail using cross-analyzes and multivariate statistical methods. Content analysis expands a current picture of the segments on which other companies target. Finally, there were elaborated appropriate marketing recommendations for the individual segments to their effective positioning.

Segmentace trhu dětské výživy / Segmentation of Infant Food Market

Polášková, Kateřina January 2013 (has links)
The main goal of my master thesis is to identify differences, or similarities among consumers of infant food. Based on these characteristics were revealed groups, also called segments. Consumers in these segments are as homogeneous as possible, and vice versa the segments are mutually the most heterogeneous. After uncovering these segments is another goal of proposing marketing recommendations to individual segments. The work consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the process of segmentation. Practical part deals with the uncovering of segments. The research used secondary and primary data. Were used a secondary data from the database MML-TGI, which was analyzed by the Data Analyzer. Primary data was collected by questionnaire survey and subsequently processed in the IBM SPSS Statistics version 22. There has been uncovering the four segments, which have been named, described and suggested marketing recommendation.

Molekulární mechanismy rozpoznání regulačního úseku DNA transkripčními faktory z rodiny MADS-BOXU / Molecular mechanism of DNA regulatory segment recognition by MADS box family transcription factors

Profantová, Barbora January 2014 (has links)
The thesis deals with physico-chemical properties of the MADS box, binding domain of transcription factors, which are important for the formation of complexes with the DNA regulatory segment bearing the CArG box. The study was performed also on model oligopeptides, selected segments of the MADS box and their analogues with a point mutation. A wide range of spectroscopic techniques was employed, namely absorption, circular dichroism, fluorescence and Raman spectroscopies. Advanced approaches including multivariate methods were used for data processing. The three tyrosines of the MADS box located in amino-acid vicinities of different charge and hydrophobicity, were used as intrinsic spectroscopic probes. The obtained characteristics of the MADS box and its segments structural arrangement, flexibility and acid-base equilibria are the main results of the work.

Determinanty životní úrovně spotřebitelů v zemích EU

Řezníková, Lucie January 2019 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with important determinants that affect living standards in the countries of the European Union. The living standard is measured using chosen composite indicators. The thesis uses a multidimensional regression ana-lysis, which confirms the relevancy of the selected determinants and quantifies their influence on the value of a particular indicator. Selected factors represent independent variables. The thesis monitors the extent to which selected determi-nants explain living standards in EU countries. Next is used factor analysis to veri-fy the correct choice of determinants. Factor analysis reduces a large number of variables and creates latent factors, to which assigns the score. Score of factors enters again to regression analysis. The differences between the EU countries, which are caused by the incomes and satisfaction factors, are commented in the last part of the thesis. Differences are identified by cluster analysis.

Vnější příčiny úmrtí - regionální rozdíly a souvislosti v okresech ČR / External causes of death - regional differences and context in districts of CZ

Spilková, Zuzana January 2021 (has links)
This diploma thesis analyzes mortality from external causes in the region of CZ between 2014 and 2018. The main focus is on external causes of death as a group, suicide rates, and mortality from traffic accidents. Another aim of this thesis is, besides the description of mortality from external causes, to identify regional correlation and differences in mortality from external causes and selected causes of death (suicides and traffic accidents). This study uses correlation, factor, and cluster analysis. Because of the low numbers of deaths in the case of women (in all dependent variables), the study analyzes mortality from both sexes together. Based on created factors clusters of regions are developed. Results show the difference between regions in CZ in mortality external causes. Regions also vary in suicide mortality rates and traffic accident mortality rates. Independent variables that correlate with mortality from external causes vary for external causes as a group, for suicides, and for mortality from traffic accidents. Keywords: external causes of death, suicides, traffic accidents, factor analysis, cluster analysis

Jaké jsou hlavní determinanty bankovních ratingů ve státech střední a východní Evropy? / What Are the Main Determinants of Banks' Ratings Across CEE Countries?

Wolf, Kryštof January 2015 (has links)
This thesis uses data of more than 180 banks from CEE region to identify the main determinants of long term credit ratings assigned to these banks in period between 2010 - 2012. This is done by employing two frequently used classification methods - Multiple Discriminant Analysis and Ordered Logit Model. The main contribution lies in including explanatory variables from various areas which have impact on financial health of examined banks. Apart from standard spheres of banks' performance such as capital adequacy, asset quality or profitability we investigate relevance of macroeconomic and qualitative factors as well. Although our results suggest that all mentioned areas are relevant for credit risk and hence rating assignment process the bank specific variables, both quantitative and qualitative, still play the key role.

Zkoumání sociální kognice a objektních vztahů u osob se schizofrenií / Assessment of Social Cognition and Object Realtions of Patients with Schizophrenia

Smolová, Alžběta January 2015 (has links)
The thesis examines social cognition and object relations in patients with schizophrenia using Thematic Apperception Test evaluated by SCORS. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with schizophrenia, Thematic Apperception Test and its interpretation systems (especially Westen's SCORS). Attention is also paid to the theoretical background of social cognition and object relations in patients with schizophrenia. The aim of the study is to verify the assumption that patients with schizophrenia will reach pathological scores in SCORS. The study also explores the relationships between different dimensions of SCORS in this clinical population. The results indicate that patients with schizophrenia have numerous deficits in social cognition and object relations, as measured by SCORS. Significantly lower scores (that belong or are very close to pathology) were found in a total of five SCORS's dimensions. In the remaining three dimensions patients with schizophrenia achieved below-average results. Cross-correlations among SCORS's dimensions and factor analysis results which revealed a three component structure of SCORS in patients with schizophrenia are also discussed. Keywords: Schizophrenia, social cognition, object relations, SCORS, Thematic Apperception Test, correlation analysis, factor analysis.

Sociálně-prostorová struktura města Mostu / Socio-spatial structure of the town Most

Syrovátková, Veronika January 2015 (has links)
The purpose of this diploma thesis is to analyze social-spatial structure of the town Most from the point of view of human ecology. The period under consideration is from 1991 to 2011. There is attempt to define local typology of the city, i.e. areas with similarities in the socioeconomic characteristic, its changes and also describe a transformation processes behind it. Trends in spatial differentiation of people are analyzed according to factor ecology. It means that there are used methods of multidimensional statistics like factor analysis and cluster analysis, because of defining the type and strength of certain factors which are specific to the urban areas.

Tímová kohézia a tímový úspech v elitných mládežníckych športových družstvách / Team cohesion and team success in elite youth sport teams

Šiška, Pavol January 2014 (has links)
The main aim of this dissertation was to examine the relationship between team success and team cohesiveness with a sample of elite youth sport teams. The secondary aim of this international thesis was to translate and analyze the psychometric properties of responses to the Czech and Slovak versions of the Youth Sport Environment Questionnaire (YSEQ; Eys, Loughead, Bray, & Carron, 2009b) in a sample of elite youth handball and soccer players. The accomplishment of the second purpose involved three phases of research. First, the questionnaire was translated into the Czech and Slovak languages by method of parallel back-translation. In Phase 2, feedback was sought on the translated versions of each questionnaire from both researchers (N = 2) and athletes (N = 52) to ensure the clarity of the instructions and the readability of the items. Subsequent confirmatory analyses in the final phase provided an adequate fitting model for both Czech and Slovak versions with an independent sample (N = 352) from youth sport teams. These results offer further support to Eys et al.'s (2009b) proposed two dimensional model underlying their measure of cohesion for youth sport groups. In terms of the general purpose, we employed structural equation modeling to examine the direction of that relationship via a...
