Zastoupení žen v politice: případová studie Česká republika / Representation of the women in the politics: the case study of The Czech Republic

Pozlovská, Zuzana January 2010 (has links)
The thesis is about the representation of the women in the politics, especially in The Czech Republic. The goal is to answer on the question, if this approach depends on the position of the political party on the ideological left-right spectrum. First the thesis is focused on the development of the women's position in the society since the 18th century and on the women's right struggle within feminism. The second part of thesis presents the methods, which support the women's political activity. The last capture analyzes the approach to the women in politics of seven political parties, which won the seat in the Chamber of Deputies in Parliament of The Czech Republic in the years 2006 and 2010. It compares their approach to policy of equal gender representation in the party's documents and in the reality. The result of the analysis is that the power of the party is more important than its position on left-right spectrum in the approach to women. The more powerful party is the less opportunities have the women in politics.

Feministky, křesťanky a ženské časopisy - konstruování interpretativních komunit / Feminists, Christians and women's magazines - construction of interpretative communities

Hloužková, Eva January 2008 (has links)
Diploma thesis "Feminists, Christians and women's magazines - construction of interpretative communities" deals with opinions of feminist and Christian women about women's magazines. It applies the concept of interpretative communities on these two groups of women and asks, if feminists and Christians use within their groups the same resources for judgement of women's magazines. At the same time the thesis is concerned with the history of Czech women in the last two centuries and also with theoretical views of women and constructions of womanhood. It strives for a solid understanding of the two groups of women that includes not only the characteristics of both communities, but also social and historical circumstances that shaped them. On this basis, the thesis analyses interviews with feminist and Christian women. The themes that were discussed included fashion, cosmetics, relationships between men and women, atributes of gender roles, positives and negatives of women's magazines, various uses of women's magazines and Christian and feminist critique of women's magazines. The thesis also deals with the question, which other variables may influence the opinion of feminists and Christians on women's magazines.

Idea ženství v díle filosofky Marie Štechové / Idea of femininity in Marie Štechová's works

Křížková, Ivana January 2017 (has links)
My thesis is concerned with the analysis of philosopher Marie Štechová. Based to the previous thesis (defended in 2015 at the University of Ostrava, lead by Prof. Zdeňka Kalnická), which summarizes the published works and manuscripts by Štechová, I can spread the previous research and so in this I can concentrate on the inclusion of the thinker into the context and especially the exploration of the specific gender aspects of her philosophy. These will then be compared with the views of other thinkers and thinkers of the period. The main aim of this diploma thesis is to extend not only the philosophical but also the literary canon about female thinkers, and also to bring closer the idea of the femininity of thinkers and thinkers at the end of the 19th century on the Czech territory.

Politické myšlení Judith Butlerové / Political Thought of Judith Butler

Sůsa, Jan January 2019 (has links)
My thesis is focused on critical analysis of political thought of American philosopher Judith Butler. Butler is concerned with the relationship between individual identity and collective subjectivity, and her works - which caused many critical reactions - represent one of the most interesting discussion in the field of feminist political philosophy. Butler is mainly concerned with the question, how various political strategies (eg. feminism) could be based on common interests of various agents, and not on their supposedly stable identity (eg. sex and gender). Her criticism of unproblematized "natural" identities is important not only to the constitution of any individual identity, but also for the notion of the political dimension of a collective subject. The introductory chapters of my thesis are concerned with early thought of Butler, mainly with her critical relationship to the "second wave" feminism, and with her notion of the performative constitution of gender identity. Next chapters explore the shift in her thinking from analysis of gender and sex towards more general themes of political thought: nation, race, class, universalism, state censorship, possibility of resistance or emergence of a collective subject without stable unifying principle. I also try to analyze selected critical...

Od animace k hraným verzím: proměna klasických pohádkových filmů studia Disney z feministické perspektivy / From animation to live-action remakes: the evolution of classic Disney fairy tales films from feminist perspective

Šlechtová, Nikola January 2020 (has links)
This diploma thesis analyses and compares two categories of Disney fairy tale films. On one side we have the animated films from the 20th century, on the other side their modern live action remakes. This thesis focuses on the portrayal of gender and social interactions, and examines whether there has been any change in these aspects from a feminist perspective. Fairy tales play a significant role in gender socialization of children and are a reflection of the contemporary societal ideals of femininity and masculinity. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the concept of gender and how it is learned, how feminism views gender and society, and the development of the feminist movement. It explores fairy tales, their role as socialization agents and the theory of feminist critique of fairy tales. It also focuses on film adaptations of fairy tales and more specifically on Disney studio and the criticism of it. The examined films were subjected to analysis based on the method of grounded theory. During the research a significant advancement was discovered in the portrayal of female and male heroes, romantic love, patriarchal society in fairy tale worlds and in the representation of race and sexual minorities.

ŽIVOT A DÍLO CAROLINY CORONADO / THE LIFE AND WORK OF CAROLINA CORONADO

Hubáčková, Ema January 2019 (has links)
Carolina Coronado is often being compared to Rosalía de Castro or even Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer and the truth is that even Bécquer found his inspiration in her. The fact that in the Czech Republic nobody has ever studied this author before made me choose her as the subject of my thesis. Writing this work was complicated, since there is no literature available in the Czech Republic, so I was constrained to find an appropriate literature in Spain. The goal of this thesis is to present the author and analyze her life and work depending on the romantic tendencies in order to lay the foundations for future study. We are going to study her childhood and outer impulses that had later influence on her work, just as her first liberal and feminist thinking. Then we will familiarize ourselves with a very original way of composing verses, the very first poetry and publication. We are going to analyze her life together with the political and social situation in Spain and we will present the author as a feminist pioneer. We will find out that all those aspects depended on the romantic tendencies of those times and comparing the author with other romantic authors we will understand that her themes and expressive forms were not novelty. Finally we are going to summarize all of her work and analyze her poetry. In...
