Diplomová práce Vliv a možnosti fyzioterapie u pacientů po onkologicko-chirurgických zákrocích hrudníku - její specifika v předoperačním, akutním pooperačním a ambulantním období Abstract Lung tumor diseases are the most frequent tumors in the world. In men it is the most common tumoral disease in incidence, in women it occupies the third place. Bronchogenic carcinoma is the most frequent one, which includes tumors of trachea, bronchus and lung parenchyma. In most cases, the treatment requires surgical removal associated with hospitalization and subsequent rehabilitation. The theoretical part addresses oncologic surgical issues of lung tumors. A major part of the theory is dedicated to the options of physiotherapy and its specifics in particular parts of rehabilitation care. The practical part observes two groups of patiens and comparatively evaluates the effect of the therapy in particular parts by objective and subjective tests.

Title: Physiotherapy as part of multidisciplinary care for patients following a lung transplant operation Objective: To evaluate the mobility of patients in the first days after lung transplantation. To compare the quality of life according to Karnofsky index and Jones dyspnea index. To relate spirometric values FVC and FEV1 of patients in the period prior to lung transplantation with the values in the first year after lung transplantation. Check the link between the development of quality of life and development of spirometric values. Methods: It is a pilot study, which was attended by 18 probands (13 men and 5 women), aged between 14 and 68 years. The data were collected on regular intervals using questionnaires on quality of life (Karnofsky index and Jones dyspnea index) and spirometric examinations taking place at the Motol University Hospital. The data were statistically analyzed using MS EXCEL, mostly using correlations and pair T - test. Results: Results showed substantial changes in the level of significance of p <0,01 both in the development of the quality of life, and in the development of spirometric values compared during the first year after lung transplantation with values before the transpantion. Another important result was the negative effect of a prolonged stay at intensive care...

Efekt konzervativní terapie u deformity hallux valgus / Effect of conservative therapy to deformity hallux valgus

Levá, Helena January 2015 (has links)
This thesis focuses on the evaluation of a conservative approach to the hallux valgus deformity. 21 people took part in the empirical study in which the changes were tracked. I worked with a group of women who exercised regularly and a control group. The regularly exercising group participated in a 3-month therapeutic program led by a physiotherapist. Each of the participants was properly examined at the beginning of the program and after three months, when the program finished. Each examination consisted of a kinesiologic analysis, a plantography footprint, a foot X-ray, a pain evaluation (the numeric scale was used) and filling out a scoring scale questionnaire of American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS). The changes of pain of the MTP or IP toe joint, the development of foot arch, changes of the toe valgus angle according to the X-rays and the overall score achieved in the AOFAS questionnaire were statistically evaluated. The ability to isolate toe abduction, right posture of the foot, stability of the axial joints and other changes were followed as well. After comparing the results the conclusion of the study is that the three-months physiotherapist-led program weaken the pain of MTP/IP toe joint, rise the score achieved in the AOFAS questionnaire, improve the foot posture and the overall...

Aktuální psychický stav pacienta ve fyzioterapeutické péči / Affective mood states of the patient in physiotherapy care

Formanová, Miroslava January 2014 (has links)
Title: Affective mood states of the patient in physiotherapy care Objectives: The aim of the theoretical part is to summarise the available findings about the chosen physiotherapeutical procedures, the psychosomatic attitude to the patients, the emotional states, the affective mood states and the possibilities how to influence them. The aim of the practical part is to evaluate the affective mood states of the patients before and after the physiotherapy care. Methods: The research involves twenty-five patients who underwent physiotherapeutical care in the centres specialised in holistic treatment. Their state was observed with the help of the POMS Questionnaire. The patients filled in the forms before and after the physiotherapeutical intervention with the psychosomatic attitude. The non-parametric version of the Wilcoxon's test was used for the evaluation of the differences of the dependent selected groups. Results: The results have proved all of the three hypotheses. After the physiotherapeutical intervention the current psychical state changed, the decrease of the tension, depression, anger, fatigue and confussion was significant. The vitality was increased significantly. Keywords: Emotional states, physiotherapy, psychosomatic attitude, POMS

Objective: The aim of this thesis is evaluation of collected informations from questionnaire. Evaluation most common injuries in the professional floorball male and female players for the season 2011/2012.Evaluation their mechanism, what is the level of compensation and regeneration between league teams in Czech Republic. Methods: For collection and evaluation I have used a form of non-standardized questionnaire, which was distributed among floorball teams and their players. The evaluation covered the extra league competitions for the season 2011/2012. Total of 120 questionnaires were evaluated from men and 116 questionnaires from women. Results: The survey showed that the most common injury in male and female professional floorball players is contusion / distension of the muscle in the lower extremity. This injury reported a total of 19% of all respondents. Injury in the ankle suffered a total of 16.6% of all respondents and followed by injuries in the knee joint in 9.6% of all players. Among men dominated most injuries in the ankle joint - 19.3% among women then contusion / distension of the muscle of the lower limb - 21.6%. Most injuries were reported in the post forward. Změny hlubokého a povrchového čití u depresivní poruchy / Changes in deep and superficial sensations in depression

Janoušková, Marie January 2013 (has links)
Title: Changes in deep and superficial sensations in depression Objectives: The theoretical part of this study aims to summarize the issues related to depression and sensory modalities in general. The goal of the practical aspect is to conduct an experiment that evaluates changes in superficial and deep sensations in depression at different stages of the mental illness in five patients. We evaluated sensations of thermal stimuli, tactile stimuli, vibrations and pain. Methods: The practical part describes the sensation analysis for each patient individually. The changes in deep and superficial sensations are compared in states of worse and lighter depression. There is also a suggested possibility for statistical evaluation of the interdependence between the severity of depression and selected modalities of sensation using the Wilcoxon test for two dependent samples. Results: The vibrating sensation in the upper left limb and algid sensation in the upper right extremity proved (on the chosen level of significance) the null hypothesis which stated that changes in sensation depend on changes in the state of depression. A sense of vibration in the upper right extremity, a sense of pain in the upper left limb and other sensory modalities present in both upper extremities were accepted (on the chosen...
