Vliv strečinku na výkon žáka v atletice / Influence of stretching on performance of pupil in athletics

Nováková, Magdalena January 2019 (has links)
Title: The effect of stretching on performance of youth athletes in track and field Objectives: The difference of views on stretching as part of sports training is great, so this work aims to prove or disprove its effect on performance. The work should contribute to the awareness of domestic athletic trainers and the results will be applied practically. This work also aims to demonstrate whether the rate of shortened muscles affects the pupil's speed and endurance performance. The work is also interested in whether a strictly adhered stretching plan will reduce the amount of shortened muscles. Method: The thesis is conceived as an experimental study. The study was attended by 30 probands who were divided into two groups. To evaluate the results, a standardized test of shortened muscles according to Janda is used, as well as a run measured by hand-held stems for 2x40 and 600 meters. Result: There are great differences in the youth age between individuals with the almost same age and do the same sport. There are individuals who do not have shortened muscles, but those who have shortened almost every muscle group. The rate of shortened muscle does not affect pupil performance in athletics. Performance on the sprinter and endurance track was deteriorated or even improved, regardless of whether there...

Vliv komplexní lázeňské péče na návrat do pracovního procesu / The influence of complex spa treatments on the return to work process

FORST, Lukáš January 2016 (has links)
The aim of this work is to find out the effectiveness of comprehensive spa treatment therapy focused on the musculoskeletal system. I tried to map out the influence of medical methodologies used in spa facilities, specifically in Berta Spa Třeboň, and patients´ return to work. In the past few years spa treatment is a frequently discussed topic not only because of the recent change in the list of indications. At present there are 35 spas in the Czech Republic which have to fulfill strict requirements to ensure maximum beneficial effect in rehabilitation, resocialization, prevention and supportive treatment. Lately many people are seeking spa facilities rather only for relaxation and so the spas are losing the primary purpose. Spas have mainly curative effect and are used as a prevention as well as a treatment. Spa treatment is or should also be the last treatment before the end of incapacity. Incapacity is a significant topic in the current health and social issues. The average incapacity/sick leave then becomes also an important economic factor.

Dysfunkce pánevního dna / Dysfunction of pelvic floor

Divišová, Kamila January 2018 (has links)
Title: Pelvic floor dysfunctions Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to determine the effect of physiotherapy based on the methodology of Ludmila Mojzisova on patients that were showing pelvic floor dysfunction symptoms. The objective is to take the clinical picture of the patients and compare it to the typical findings of Mojzisova. Also to determine which one of the clinical history events had most likely the biggest impact on the development of the dysfunction. Methodology: For the assessment of the effectiveness of the therapy on the patient, I used the pain scale called visual analogic scale (VAS), that was recorded at the beginning and at the end of the therapy. For the comparison of the clinical picture, I used the aspection while focusing on the divergence from the posture and assessment of spasms and blockades according to Mojzisova. This was completed with a test of stretching maneuvers and deep and superficial sensation. In order to determine the root cause of the problem of each patient, I used their clinical history. Findings: This diploma thesis confirmed the benefit of the Mojzisova method therapy in lowering the pain levels and improving the functional state of probands. This was further confirmed by the clinical picture of the study subjects. The most probable root cause of the...

Vliv motivačních prvků v dětské fyzioterapii se zaměřením na pacienty s akutní lymfoblastickou leukémií - pilotní studie / The Influence of Motivational Elements in Paediatric Physiotherapy Focused on the Patients with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia - Pilot Study

Chytrá, Markéta January 2017 (has links)
THE INFLUENCE OF MOTIVATIONAL ELEMENTS IN PAEDIATRIC PHYSIOTHERAPY FOCUSED ON THE PATIENTS WITH ACUTE LYMPHOBLASTIC LEUKEMIA - PILOT STUDY Abstract The efficacy of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) treatment in childhood is still increasing and the quality of life of these children is starting to be the focus of interest. The physiotherapy affects in preventive and reactive way the late effects of treatment which may reduce the quality of life. An insufficient motivation of children can be a reason of a reduced adherence to a physiotherapeutic intervention. The goal of this study was to ascertain the influence of the motivational elements in the paediatric physiotherapy in the improvement of motor functions, the quality of life, the motivation to the exercise and the frequency of exercise. There were 9 patients diagnosed with ALL in the maintenance phase of treatment (average age 7,3 years, age range 5,2 - 10,1, 5 girls and 4 boys). All probands underwent a 6- weeks-excercise programme that contains the exercise from the DNS method, yoga for children and stretching. The assessment was performed by Bruninks-Oseretsky Test (BOT2), 6 minute walking test (6MWT), goniometric measurement of ankle joint dorsiflexion, Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory (PedsQL), Intrinsic Motivation Inventory (IMI) and the...

Hodnocení efektu fyzioterapie na kardiopulmonální systém dětských pacientů s vrozenou srdeční vadou / Assessment of influence of physiotherapy on cardiopulmonary system in children with congenital heart defect

Kopecká, Anežka January 2017 (has links)
The aim of the study was to compose and realize physiotherapeutic program for children with congenital heart disease to improve their postural-respirational function and to assess the influence of this program on cardiopulmonary functions of the patients. Our group had five patients with mean age of 15,6 years. Each of them underwent initial examination of the motor system, spirometry and spiroergometric exercise test. Physiotherapeutic program consisted of 8 individual therapies and home-based exercise. Therapy was composed from manual techniques, exercise according to Dynamic neuromuscular stabilisation concept and exercise with inspiratory trainer and improvised PEP system. The final examination was performed in the same manner as the initial one. We compared the results of both examinations, but we found no significant improvement after the physiotherapeutic program.

Vítek, Jiří January 2017 (has links)
Bibliography VÍTEK, Jiří. The effect of physiotherapy on respiratory muscle strength and functional ability in patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Prague: Charles University, 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Department of Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, 2017. 132 p. Supervisor prim. MUDr. Ondřej Horáček, Ph.D. Abstract Objectives To determine the effects of intensive physiotherapeutic care in patients with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), with the focus on objective measurement of respiratory functions and functional status. Methods Patients with ALS (n = 21) were non-randomly assigned into two groups. First group (group R) received a 3-week in-patient rehabilitation programme in the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun. Second group, control group (group K), received a home exercise programme. Patients from both groups underwent spirometry examination and evaluation of functional skills via the Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis functional rating scale revised questionnaire (ALSFRS-R) three weeks apart. Among the spirometry parameters, forced vital capacity (FVC) and forced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV1) were selected for further evaluation. These parameters are significantly associated with respiratory muscle strength and survival in patients with ALS. Results There were no significant differences in...
