Prunerová, Anna January 2021 (has links)
Title: Patients' adherence to physiotherapy Background: Physiotherapy includes many techniques, which can be effective during a treatment of musculoskeletal system. It is up to each patient, how he or she will approach to health. Evaluation of adherence to exercise can be beneficial in the beginning, during and after the end of physiotherapy. Objectives: The aim of this study was using of the Exercise Adherence Rating Scale in Czech translation to find out how the patients adhere to a physiotherapeutic treatment plan and assess the causes. Methods: The research group consisted of 151 respondents, older than 18 years and they completed physiotherapy at least once in their lives. For data collection was used the Exercise Adherence Rating Scale. The Scale was available via online research survey in March 2020 and self-selection was chosen. Results: According to the results, 67 % employees participated in the research study. 63 % respondents were aged between 36 and 64 years. Physiotherapy was most often covered by insurance company. In EARS, excellent internal consistency values of Section B on the item level and satisfactory to good internal consistency values of Section C on the item level were obtained. Significant correlations of the EARS sections confirm criterion validity in terms of adherence....

Knotková, Edita January 2020 (has links)
The aim of the thesis was to find out and evaluate the long-term functional-motor consequences of stem cell transplantation in children patients and to propose possibilities of testing and physical therapy of these functional-motor consequences. The first part of the thesis is aiming to research available sources about bone marrow transplant and its consequencies. It summarizes possibilities of testing the bone marrow transplant patient`s motor abilities. Furthermore, it summarizes possibilities of physiotherapy in bone marrow transplant patients. The second part of the thesis processes BOT2 results in bone marrow transplant children patients . The thesis evaluates its results compared to healthy population and tests an impact of various factors on function-motor abilities of the patient. The children after bone marrow transplant have mostly below average results in motor tests, especially in manual coordination section. The hypothesis were partially confirmed. Children which underwent radiotherapy have function-motor consequencies in manual coordination and fine motor skills. Children which underwent corticotherapy have function-motor consequencies in manual coordination.

Švrčková, Karolína January 2019 (has links)
Author: Bc. Karolína Švrčková Title: Physiotherapy of children with lung disease Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to create a targeted therapeutic program for school- age children diagnosed with bronchial asthma and to evaluate the change of the examined parameters (FEV1, dyspnoea, muscle imbalance, resting breathing wave, diaphragm test, five-minute running test with a focus on post-exercise dyspnoea, viscerovertebral manifestations) after four weeks of movement in two groups (one focused on respiratory physiotherapy, the other on respiratory physiotherapy enriched with yoga exercise), both diagnosed with bronchial asthma. Methods: This work is a pilot experimental study. Two groups of probands (test and control, each with eight probands) were created. The test group underwent respiratory physiotherapy and yoga exercise specifically designed for diagnosis bronchial asthma. The control group underwent only respiratory physiotherapy. Both groups had an intervention of four weeks. In both groups, FEV1 and Investigation Protocol - focusing on viscerovertebral manifestations, muscle imbalance, resting respiratory wave, five- minute running test (focusing on any manifestation of dyspnoea that would end the test, or after the test dyspnoea) and manifestations of dyspnoea (dyspnea in two previous...

Efektivita vybraných nekonvenčních rehabilitačních postupů u pacientů s poruchou autistického spektra / The effectiveness of chosen unconventional rehabilitation methods in Autistic Spectrum Disorder

Ikonomi, Krist January 2020 (has links)
The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the science' state of unconventional physical therapies, such as yoga therapy (YT) and equine-assisted therapy (EAT), in the treatment of the Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in children and young adolescents. The aim of this systematic review is to highlight the effects of unconventional physiotherapy in autism. Data from 12 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were retrieved and analyzed to help with the making of this review. Physical, cognitive and social functions were measured in approximately 530 children and adolescents with autism, always partaking in either case or control group. Results indicate that the above mentioned therapies have an overall positive impact in the treatment of autism by reducing the stereotypical behaviors and increasing the cognitive and social functions. Participants vary from 4 to 16 years of age. There is still a gap of knowledge when it comes to all the direct effects and action mechanisms of such therapies in the lives of these children. Therefore a lot of space for further studies is present and also recommended. Future RCTs are needed to better refine treatment choices, in order to come up with new and better ways of dealing with such disorder. Keywords: physiotherapy; yoga therapy; horse riding therapy;...

Chrz, Josef January 2020 (has links)
Title: Comparison of performance of pediatric patients with diagnosis of cystic fibrosis before and after a lung transplantation. Objectives: To compare selected parameters of pediatric patients as an index of physical condition in time before and 1 year after transplantation. To compare a group of patients that undergone longtherm intensive physiotherapeutic treatment before transplantation with group of patients that did not using spirometric parameters FVC, FEV1 and BMI. To compare subjective signs of dyspnea between these groups using selected questionnaires. Methods: This theses was attended by 15 probands (7 boys and 8 girls) in age between 12 and 18 years. The data were collected by using selected dyspnea questionares and by using hospital documentation files taking place at the Motol University Hospital. The data were statistically analysed using Jamovi programme, mostly using correlations and paired T- test, and graphically analysed by using MS Excel programme. Results: We found changes of spirometric parameters in the level of significance of p < 0,001 (FEV1) and p = 0,003 (FVC) after transplantation in comparison with time before transplantation. Group that undergone longtherm intensive physiotherapeutic treatment before lung transplantation showed more physiological spirometric values...
