Sárazová, Daniela January 2017 (has links)
Title: Relation between occurrence of specific language impairment and motor skills in children Objectives: The aim of this thesis is detection of prevalence of risk factors for specific language impairment in children in the Czech Republic and evaluation of another possible difficulties these children may have, especially those which could be detected or influenced by physiotherapist. The emphasis was given on pre- and perinatal complications, early motor development complications and motor impairment. Methods: The anonymous questionnaires were used for the data collection. They were distributed to the speech therapists' offices in Prague and Jesenice by Prague and filled by parents of children with specific language impairment when they visited the office. Overall 145 questionnaires were included in the research. Results: Hypothesis n. 1 was confirmed - higher prevalence of complications during pregnancy than prevalence of assisted reproduction was found (considering the prenatal complications) and higher prevalence of complications during birth than prevalence of preterm birth or low birth weight was found (considering the perinatal complications) in children with specific language impairment in the Czech Republic. Hypothesis n. 2 was also confirmed - the prevalence of early motor development...

Attachment a chronická bolest ve fyzioterapii / Attachement and chronic pain in physiotherapy

Kavka, Tomáš January 2017 (has links)
The aim of the theoretical part of this thesis was to summarize the knowledge about the phenomenon of pain, attachment theory, their interconnection and the implication of this knowledge in physiotherapeutic practice. This thesis presents different views on pain and health problems. Patients with chronic pain are still a major challenge for physiotherapeutic interventions, this interconnection seems to be a good way to offer more purposefull and more complex physical therapy treatment. The work summarize modern knowledge from related fields, especially in the issue of chronic pain and attachment theory, although it can not be fully achieved today because of the very rapid development of research. Nevertheless, it could serve as a springboard or as an inspiration for further interest in this issue. The aim of the practical part of this thesis is to verify the possible relationship between attachment and the clinical and demographic variables of the patients seeking physiotherapy and between the clinical and demographic factors and the outputs of physiotherapy. For this reason, as a subject of statistical analysis, the following hypotheses were determined: H1: Attachment anxiety and avoidance is related to clinical and demographic factors before physiotherapy treatment, H2: Attachment anxiety and...

Zasadilová, Anežka January 2020 (has links)
Author: Bc. Anežka Zasadilová Title: The effect of physiotherapy on patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to design a therapeutic unit and evaluate its effect on long-term treatment in the therapy of selected patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease Methods: The group of patients treated for esophageal reflux disease was examined using a standardized questionnaire, esophageal manometry and postural tests. This was followed by a two-month therapy aimed at stretching and strengthening the diaphragm using several physiotherapeutic methods. After completing the therapy, the probands were measured again as in the same way as in the initial examination. The obtained data were evaluated by statistical analysis using a nonparametric test for one selection (Wilcoxon test). Results: The evaluation of the questionnaire survey resulted in the value of p-value = 0.007265, ie less than the selected level of alpha significance (= 0.05). Based on the Wilcoxon test, it was confirmed that the input score was statistically significantly higher than the output score. The evaluation of the esophageal manometry gave the value of p-value = 0.6956, ie greater than the selected level of significance alpha (= 0.05). Based on the Wilcoxon test, it was not confirmed that the...
