Žitná, Petra January 2021 (has links)
Author: Bc. Petra Žitná Title: Evaluation of the influence of regular slackline activity on the dynamic postural stability of the sport population aged 20-30 years Aim: The aim of this work is an attempt to objectively evaluate the influence of regular slackline sporting activity on dynamic postural stability in comparison with a standard named "Athles Norm 20-30" (further stated as "Norm AN") set for sporting population aged between 20 - 30 years. Methods: The measurements were carried out in the Laboratory of kinesiology at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Charles University. There were tested 10 participants aged 20-30 years doing the slackline sport for long time. For testing the dynamic postural stability were used the Sensory Organization Test, Unilateral Stance and Head Shake - Sensory Organization Test. The measurements on the NeuroCom Smart Equi Test were preceded by carrying out the Stork Standing Balance Test both in standardized form and modification. After specifying the statistic difference between the measured values and Norm AN there was used the Welch Test with the significance level of α = 0.05. For evaluating the correlations there was used the Pearson Test. As a high degree of reliability there was accepted the value of r ≥ 0.70. Results: There were recorded...

Efekt cueingu v otevřených a zavřených smyčkách na chůzi u pacientů s Parkinsonovou nemocí. / Effect of open and closed loop cueing on gait function in Parkinson disease.

Almathami, Saad Hassan January 2021 (has links)
The objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of opened and closed loop cueing intervention on Parkinson disease patients gait function focusing on the temporal and spatial parameters of gait and to define the most effective cueing approach for different gait parameters and finally to examine the closed loop feedback system for regular usage in regular physiotherapy clinics or patients own homes. A 37 clinical trial including 1014 patients were investigated to reach an answer for this review questions. Results reveled that both open and closed cueing intervention has a positive effect on gait spatial, temporal gait parameters and capable to reduce the number of freezes in Parkinson diseases patients. Auditory cueing strategies had a superior effect on patient speed of gait with higher rhythm of cues and better overall gait function during dual tasking. Visual cues showed better effect on stride length and stride frequency. The close loop feedback system of cues still built on complex machinery segments which make it difficult to be used as regular intervention in physiotherapy clinics and patients own homes. As an overall cueing intervention found to be significantly effective as locomotive therapeutic approach on gait functionality, but each intervention procedure and methodology...

Přínosy rehabilitace u pacientů s abdominální hernií / Benefits of rehabilitation in patients with abdominal hernia

Bártová, Barbora January 2021 (has links)
The thesis summarizes available information about the possibilities of rehabilitation in patients with abdominal hernia. The theoretical part presents current approach to prehabilitation and postoperative rehabilitation in patients with abdominal hernia. In the theoretical part of the thesis is brief list of risk factors which increase probability of occurrence of the postoperative complications. The possibilities of modification of these risk factors by prehabilitation are presented. The approaches supporting as well as questioning prescription of prehabilitation are discussed. The thesis also contains the guidelines for early postoperative period and guidelines for long-term postoperative programs. These guidelines are proceeded from foreign literature. Long-term training programs intensity is based on the preoperative examination results. Determining preoperative performance reduces the risk of overloading the patient and maximizes the benefits which the physical activity has to offer. In the experimental part of the thesis are presented data obtained from group of patients who underwent the Preoperative program for patients with hernia on the Clinic of Rehabilitation and Sport Medicine the Motol University Hospital. The comparison of data before and after therapy is concluded. Another...

Koutná, Martina January 2012 (has links)
Title: The Use of Vibration in Sports and Health Care Objectives: The aim of this study is to confirm or refute established hypotheses. Hypotheses: 1. The use of vibration loading improves muscle strength. 2. The use of vibration loading improves bone mineral density. 3. The use of vibration loading can influence balance. Methods: This diploma thesis is elaborated as search form. It is based on exploration of available literary sources, clinical trials accessible through electronic databases of medical and sports, and library catalogs. The resources from sport, physiology, biomechanics, and various medical disciplines (osteology, physiotherapy, kinesiology) were used also. Results: Due to retrieval process of whole body vibration training it was found out that this method can improve muscle strength, bone mineral density, balance and mobility. The effect depends on chosen parameters of whole-body vibrations. Under certain conditions whole-body vibration training could represent an alternative or a supplement to conventional training in order to increase muscle strength and bone mineral density or improve balance and mobility of elderly. The selection of right vibration parameters could support ordinary physical therapy of some neurological disorders. Keywords: vibration, whole-body vibration...

Vliv senzomotorické stimulace na plochonoží u dětí předškolního věku / Influence of sensomotoric stimulation on flat foot in preschool-aged children

Řehůřková, Markéta January 2012 (has links)
Title: The effect of sensomotoric stimulation on flat foot of children Introduction: Flat foot is a common health problem in childhood. Its development is related to congenital or acquired dysfunction of the plantar vault. There is no single opinion on the criteria for diagnosis and therapy forms. The aftereffects and health risks of flat foot are often neglected. The therapy form of sensomotoric stimulation, including balance exercises and walking barefoot over different surfaces, could be an appropriate part of the physical activities and games for children in kindergarten. Objectives: The main objective of this thesis was to compare foot prints of a group of children from one kindergarten class before and after six months of sensomotoric stimulation by three different methods (the Chippaux-Šmiřák method, the Godunov-Sztriter method and the Mayer method.). The second objective was to determine at what age category will be the highest prevalence of flat feet and also at what age group is the biggest improvement of the foot arch. The third objective was to compare each other method and determine whether the results will match. Hypothesis 1: After six months of sensomotoric stimulation of the feet of children occurs in the majority of feet of probands the improvement of the longitudinal foot arch...
