Šiame magistro darbe aptariami geležinkelių transporto terminai, kurių buvo surinkta 1049 pavyzdžiai. Terminai buvo rinkti iš šešių AB „Lietuvos geležinkeliai“ parengtų dokumentų rinkinių. Visi rasti terminai aptariami pagal jų sudėties ypatumus, kilmę, analizuojama vienažodžių terminų daryba, o sudėtinių terminų – sintaksiniai dėmenų santykiai ir jų morfologinė raiška. / In the Master‘s Thesis, the railway-related terms (total 1049) are discussed upon. The terms were collected from six sets of documents executed by AB „Lietuvos geležinkeliai“ /the joint-stock company „Lithuanian Railways“/. All terms collected were discussed upon according to the peculiarities of their composition and origin; in respect of single-word terms, their formation is analyzed, and in respect of composite terms, the syntactic relations of their components and the morphological expression of the latter are analyzed.

Baigiamajame magistro darbe nagrinėjama Lietuvos geležinkelių transporto sektoriaus reforma, geležinkelių transporto sistemos reformai įtakos turintys veiksniai, reformos poreikis, tikslai, užsienio šalių geležinkelių transporto reformų patirtis. Įvardijama geležinkelių transporto sektoriaus reformos problematika. Nagrinėjami moksliniai straipsniai, kuriuose aptariama geležinkelių transporto reforma bei vežimų liberalizavimas, kita mokslinė literatūra, tyrimai bei studijos. Atlikti Lietuvos geležinkelių transporto sektoriaus reformos poreikio tyrimai, o tyrimo pagrindu įvardytos reformos pasekmės, pateiktos tyrimų išvados. Baigiamajame magistro darbe įvardijami galimi Lietuvos geležinkelių transporto sektoriaus valdymo modeliai ir šių modelių taikymo galimybės. Įvardijami Lietuvos Respublikos Vyriausybės programos nuostatai, susiję su geležinkelių transportu, nuostatų įgyvendinimas ir laukiami rezultatai. Išnagrinėjus teorinius ir praktinius Lietuvos geležinkelių transporto sektoriaus reformos ir vežimų liberalizavimo aspektus, įvardijamas Lietuvos geležinkelio sektoriui taikytinas valdymo modelis, pateikiamos baigiamojo darbo išvados ir siūlymai. / The subject of the Master Thesis is to study the reform of the Lithuanian railway transport sector, factors influented reformation processes, demand and aims of the reform, experience of other countries. The Thesis also describes problems the reform confronts with. The Master Thesis is a review of wide range of literature sources: scientific articles on the issues of railway transport’s reforms and liberalisation, other scientific sources, researches and studies. The Master Thesis also contains researche on the necessity of the reform, based on that certain conclusions have been made together with indications on the reform’s effect. In the Thesis there are presented different Lithuanian railway sectors’ management models and their feasibility. The are also describtion of provisions related to railway transport within Lithuania’s Governmental Programme, their implementation and effect expected. After reviewing theoretical and practical aspects of the railway transport sector’s reform and liberalisation there are indications on the most acceptable management model for Lithuanian railway sector, conclusions and proposals are being presented.

Baigiamajame magistro darbe nagrinėjamos krovinių vežimo iš Kinijos į Europą geležinkelių transportu problemos, įvairių autorių nuomonė šia tema. Išnagrinėta esama krovinių vežimo iš Kinijos į Europą jūrų ir geležinkelių transportu situacija ir dėl to atsirandančios problemos, išanalizuotos esamos geležinkelių transporto panaudojimo galimybės tokių krovinių vežimo srityje. Baigiamajame darbe skaičiuojamas geležinkelio linijų, esančių tarp Kinijos ir Europos, krovinių metinis pralaidumas, nustatomos mažiausią pajėgumą turinčios vietos, galimi vežti srautai lyginami su esamais jūrų transporto srautais. Nustatomas šių pajėgumų didinimo planas, apskaičiuojamas jam reikalingas investicijų poreikis. Vertinant projekto investicijų efektyvumą, apskaičiuojama projekto dabartinė grynoji vertė, vidinė pelno norma, investicijų rentabilumo indeksas ir atsipirkimo laikas. Taip pat atliekamas šio projekto ekonominis įvertinimas, apskaičiuojant finansinę naudą, kurią patirs Europoje esantys krovinių gavėjai dėl sutrumpėjusio krovinių pristatymo laiko, bei prognozuojamą naudą Lietuvai dėl sukurtų naujų darbo vietų ir papildomų mokesčių į biudžetą. Išnagrinėjus teorinius ir praktinius krovinių vežimo iš Kinijos į Europą geležinkelių transportu aspektus, pateikiamos baigiamojo darbo išvados ir pasiūlymai. / The final master thesis analyses the problems and scientific literature on freight shipment by rail from China to Europe. The work contains the analysis of the current situation and emerging problems of freight shipment by sea and rail from China to Europe. It also includes an investigation of railway infrastructure abilities to manage these carriages. The work contains the calculation of cargo throughput of railway lines between China and Europe. It also determines the weakest links in these lines. In addition, the possible cargo turnover is compared with sea freight turnover. After this, the project of throughput increasing is taken, including the calculation of desirable investment. Analyzing the effectiveness of this investment project, net present value, internal return rate and investment profitableness index are calculated. The analysis also includes economical assessment, identifying financial benefit to freight receivers in Europe, which appears from saved time of cargo distribution from China. What is more, the benefit Lithuania gets from new workplaces and additional budget income is discussed. Having analyzed the theoretical and practical aspects of freight shipment by rail from China to Europe, the conclusions and proposals are presented.

The disertation investigates a crucial factor, determining decisions on development of Lithuanian transport system - Common European transport policy in the field of road and railway and provides comprehensive answers to the following questions: (1)are the EU solutions in transport development field economically consistent and feasible, (2) what are the means, suitable for its’ implementation, (3) what effects it will cause for Lithuania’s transport system as well as the whole economic and social life.

Šiame baigiamajame bakalauro darbe atlikta geležinkelių transporto vystymosi raidos literatūrinė apžvalga, kuri parodo, kad Lietuvos geležinkelių transportas buvo ir yra svarbi visuomenės gyvenimo dalis, be kurios nebūtų plėtojama ekonomika ir kitos veiklos sritys. Tačiau išanalizavus aplinkosauginius aspektus, paaiškėja, kad geležinkelio transportas - triukšmo šaltinis. Šis traukinių keliamas triukšmas yra ypač svarbus gyvenimo kokybės rodiklis. Išanalizuota geležinkelių transporto eksploatacijos metu pasireiškiantys kenksmingi veiksniai, bei jų poveikis žmonių sveikatai ir gyvenimo kokybei. Atlikta Mažeikių miesto gyventojų apklausa. Įvertinta dabartinė situacija. Išanalizavus apklausos rezultatus, padarytos išvados ir pateikti geriausi triukšmo mažinimo būdai, kaip apsaugoti gyventojus, išvengiant triukšmo padarinių. Atlikti akustinių ekranų efektyvumo matavimai, šalia Šniūraičių gyvenvietės, kurie parodė, kad siekiant komforto žmonių kasdieniniame gyvenime būtina imtis priemonių kovojant su aplinkos fizikine tarša. Pateikti pasiūlymai ir rekomendacijos šiai problemai spręsti. / Literary review of railway transport development is carried out in this bachelor’s paper, which shows that Lithuanian railway transport has always been an important part of public life, helping to develop economics and other areas of activities. However, analysis of environmental issues shows that the railway transport is the noise source. The train-caused noise is an especially important index of life quality. Harmful factors arising during railroad transport exploitation are analysed as well as their impact upon human health and life quality. Mažeikiai town residents were interviewed. Current situation was assessed. Survey results were analysed, conclusions made, the best ways to reduce noise in order to protect the residents from noise consequences were suggested. Carry out performance measurements of acoustic screens, Šniūraičiai near the village. Noise measurement findings showed that in order to reach comfort in everyday life measures have to be taken to reduce physical pollution of the environment. Suggestions and recommendations to solve the problem are given.

Šiame darbe nagrinėjama geležinkelio vagonų, reikalingų tam tikros apimties krovinių vežimams, poreikio problema. Ypatingas dėmesys atkreipiamas į vagonų parko rezervo sudarymą. Pagal pateiktas matematines formules, įvertinus visas vagonų eksploatavimo sąnaudas, nustatomas reikalingų vagonų skaičius. Taip pat yra aprašomas „MS Excel“ programa sudarytas matematinis modelis operatyviniam bei planiniam vagonų poreikiui apskaičiuoti. Šiuo modeliu apskaičiuota reikšmė yra optimali ir yra 1,4 % mažesnė, negu vagono poreikio reikšmė, apskaičiuota remiantis praėjusių metų statistiniais rezultatais. Siekiant visapusiškai išnagrinėti problemą, papildomai buvo tiriamas prekinių vagonų parko amžius, atlikta vagonų prastovų laiko analizė, nustatyti prekinių vagonų poreikio ekonominiai aspektai. / This paper considers the need of the rail cars for the determined volume of the freight traffic. The special attention is drawn to the composition of the railway wagon reserve park. The mathematical equations evaluating the operational elements of the wagons are determined. An experimental mathematical model which describes the operational need of wagons is calculated using supportive software Excel; the model estimates that the optimized need for wagons are by 1.4 % lower then the need has been calculated by last year statistical data. Furthermore the work also observes the performance and the age of the freight Wagon Park. The analysis performed to analyze the wagons idle time and other economic issues concerning the matter of the freight wagons are observed.
