Vilniaus geležinkelio stoties renovacija / Renovation of Vilnius Railway Station

Magistro studijų baigiamojo darbo tikslas – kompleksiškai spręsti sudėtingų transporto komunikacijų, urbanistinių struktūrų renovacijos problemas. Baigiamojo darbo analitinėje dalyje nagrinėjama geležinkelio stočių morfologinė raida, sandara ir funkciniai ryšiai. Remiantis metodine literatūra ir užsienio patirtimi suformuojamos pagrindinės urbanistinės geležinkelio stočių renovacijos tendencijos. Tiriamojoje darbo dalyje atliekama Vilniaus geležinkelio stoties istorinė ir urbanistinė analizė, bei pateikiami paminklosauginiai tvarkymo siūlymai ir rekomendacijos. Eksperimentinėje dalyje pateikti variantai vertinami pagal analitinės dalies išvadas. Privalumai ir trūkumai nagrinėjami pagal penkis pagrindinius kriterijus: tipologiją, infrastruktūrą, urbanistinę struktūrą, vidinę struktūrą ir istorinį kontekstą. Projektinėje baigiamojo darbo dalyje detalizuojamas stoties-parko variantas, atitinkantis šiuolaikinius sudėtingų transporto komunikacijų renovacijos metodus ir tendencijas, bei kompleksiškai sprendžiantis ne tik atskiro pastato, bet ir urbanistines teritorijos problemas. / The main objective of Final work of Architecture master studies is to find solution for complex transport communication and urban renovation problems. Morphological development of railway station, structure and functional intercourse are analyzed in analytical part of Final work. Main tendencies of urban renovation of railway stations are formulated with reference to methodological literature and foreign experience. Proposals and recommendations for regulation of historical heritage are made after historical and urban analysis of Vilnius railway station in explorative part of Final work. In experimental part project proposals are evaluated by conclusions of analytical part. Strengths and weakness analyzed by five main criteria: morphology, infrastructure, urban structure, plan and historical context. Version of station-park is developed in Final work project part. It corresponds to contemporary transport communication renovation methods and tendencies and offers complex solution not only for unique building problems, but for whole urban territory complex.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK Relevance of the Research Over the past several years, solution of issues of quality of development, modernization, reconstruction and maintenance of international railway corridors has been in focus, considering the changing needs of an individual country’s residents and common needs of railway users in general. The development of railway transport systems influences the quality of life in separate countries and regions, as defined by complex equilibrium of economic, social and political factors. The railway transport sector in countries in Central and Eastern Europe is outdated in the technical, economic, technological and organizational sense, lagging far behind modern and efficiently interacting railway transport systems of Western and Northern Europe. Their main weaknesses include low train speeds, different conditions for the use of railway networks in different countries (differing requirements for infrastructure, projecting standards and rolling stock), low-level services, noise and vibration, insufficient level of traffic safety and environmental protection. The problem of increasing train speeds is of key importance. Development of a joint European high-speed railway network has been started, and Lithuania should join the system as well. The main goal of the Lithuanian railway sector is to increase speeds of passenger and cargo trains on main lines from the current 120 km/h for passenger trains and 90 km/h for cargo trains. The... Sankasų įrengimo technologijų modeliavimas įvertinant vietos sąlygas / Modelling of subgrade design and construction technologies taking into account local conditions

Baigiamajame magistro darbe nagrinėjama geležinkelio pagrindo, tai yra žemės sankasų įrengimų technologija įvertinant vietos sąlygas. Sukuriami du žemės sankasų modeliai ant sauso pagrindo iš molingųjų ir drenuojančių gruntų, taip pat du modeliai durpynuose iš drenuojančių ir dulkingųjų gruntų, kurių gylis 4 m. Remiantis šiuo metu egzistuojančiais įkainiais buvo įvertintos pylimų iš skirtingų gruntų įrengimo kainos. Pylimams ant sauso pagrindo buvo sudarytas daugiakriteris sprendimo priėmimo uždavinys ir išspręstas 4 būdais: SAW, AHP, TOPSIS, MCDM-23. Naujausi darbai esantys mokslinių duomenų bazėse, Lietuvos institucijų pateikiama informacija, bei kita medžiaga internete tiriama analizės būdu; alternatyvų rodiklių reikšmės nustatomos remiantis praktika, bei kokybiniais mokslinio tyrimo metodais. Atlikus tyrimus priėita išvada, kad žemės sankasas 1 – o tipo geležinkeliams ant tvirto pagrindo arba pelkėse ekonomiškiau įrenginėti i�� dulkingųjų ar molingųjų gruntų. Darbą sudaro 7 dalys: 1) įvadas, 2) geležinkelių sankasų įrengimo reikšmė, 3) sankasų įrengimo technologinės alternatyvos, 4) skirtingų sankasų įrengimo technologijų modeliavimas, 5) daugiakriterių sprendimų priėmimo metodų aptarimas ir parinkimas, 6) išvados, 7) literatūros sąrašas. Darbo apimtis – 101 puslapių. / The master thesis covers the analysis of technology regarding the rail foundation or rail bed mounting in consideration of local conditions. Two rail bed models are designed over the dry foundation made of clayey and drained soil as well as two models in peatery made of drained and dusty soil at a depth of 4 m. The prices for mounting of embankment by using various soils were estimated with reference to the current prices. The thesis defined a multiple criteria task concerning the embankments over the dry foundation, which was solved in four ways: SAW, AHP, TOPSIS, MCDM-23. The new articles in academic databases, the information provided by Lithuanian institutions, and other material found in the Internet were examined with a help of analysis: the values of alternative indexes are determined in accordance to the practice and qualitative research methods. Research revealed that it is more efficient to mount the rail beds by utilizing drained and dusty soil over the solid foundation or in the peatery in case of the rails of the 1st type. The thesis consist of 7 sections: 1) introduction, 2) the importance of rail beds mounting, 3) technological alternatives for the rail beds mounting, 4) modeling of technologies for the different beds, 5) selection and consideration of multiple criteria solutions, 6) conclusions, 7) reference list. Thesis consist of 101 pages.

Modern railway is a sophisticated system depending on consistency between all its elements. It is not only a self-explanatory component of nowadays-social wealth, however it is also one of environment polluters. What is an actual impact of the railways on the environment of our country, what are the problems and how they are solved? The present master’s study reviews the main law acts, regulating a management of environmental protection of AB “Lietuvos geležinkeliai” (Limited Liability Company “Lithuanian Railways”), a situation of the management of environmental protection, the main problems and perspectives. The objective of the present study is to consider and assess the impact of AB “Lietuvos geležinkeliai” on the environment, to analyse the management of environmental protection in the enterprise, to forecast the means to decrease negative impact or to avoid it, as well as to assess the reasons, impedimental to efficient activities of this process. In order to ensure efficiently observation of the environmental protection, rational use of natural resources, an efficient management apparatus, conditioning efficient observation of the environmental protection, as well as sufficient financing are necessary. Darbo tikslas – išanalizuoti Lietuvos kelių ir geležinkelių transporto vystymosi tendencijas, įvertinti jų atitikimą darnaus vystymosi principams bei ištirti transporto naudojimo visuomenės įpročius. Vykdant išsikeltus darbo uždavinius buvo renkami, grupuojami, ir analizuojami statistiniai duomenys susiję su transporto sektoriaus darniu vystymusi ir apimantys šio sektoriaus aplinkosauginius, ekonominius bei socialinius aspektus. Duomenys analizuojami programiniais paketais Microsoft Excel ir Statistica 10. Atlikta koreliacinė analizė tarp skirtingų rodiklių siekiant išsiaiškinti jų tarpusavio ryšio stiprumą ir patikimumą. Taip pat buvo atlikta visuomenės apklausa internetinėje prieigoje www.manoapklausa.lt . Apklausa buvo atlikta du kartus – 2010 matų rudenį ir 2011 metų pavasarį – siekiant išanalizuoti visuomenės nuomonės pasikeitimus, susijusius su metų laiko, ekonominės situacijos ir kitų veiksnių pakitimais. Apklausų duomenys buvo analizuojami programiniu paketu SPSS, nustatomas ryšys tarp skirtingų rodiklių grupių. Analizuojamas laikotarpis apima 1995 – 2010 metus. Per šį laikotarpį Lietuvos transporto sektorius labai vystėsi. Ryškiausias augimas buvo kelių transporto sektoriuje. Kelių transporto priemonių skaičius per analizuojamą laikotarpį padidėjo 2,2 karto. Kuro sunaudojimas transporto sektoriuje per analizuojamą laikotarpį išaugo 50 proc. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / Aim of research – to analyze the Lithuanian road ant rail transport development trends, assess their compliance with the principles of sustainable development and to investigate the use of public transport habits. By research were collected, grouped and analyzed statistical data related to transport sector sustainable development and covering the sector‘s environmental, economic ad social aspects. The data were analyzed by software packages Microsoft Excel and Statistica 10. Were transacted correlation analysis between the different indicators to identify the relationship strength and reliability. It was also made an public online poll. The poll was made two times – in autumn 2010 and spring 2011 – in order to analyze the changes in public opinion related to seasons, the economic situation changes and other factors. The data of polls were analyzed using SPSS software package, defines the relationship between different indicators. Analyzed period covers the 1995 – 2010 year. During this period, the Lithuania transport sector is highly developed. The largest increase was in the road sector. Road vehicles during the analysis period increased 2,2-fold. Fuel consumption in the transport sector during the analyzed period increased 50 percent.
