Geografické informační systémy v dopravě / Geographics Information Systems in Transportation

Souček, Václav Unknown Date (has links)
The work is focused on the issues associated with the use of geographical information systems in transport. Of the various types of transport was chosen railway transport for its great potential particularly in the field of freight transport, but also because it is a relatively environmentally friendly. This fact is also well known to the leaders of the European Union, who are engaged in the field of transportation. The European Commission in its documents (green and white papers) gives accent on the development of railway transportation and combined transportation, because this is the path to secure the sustainable development of transport. In the course of this study the current state of information systems several problems were discovered. One problem is the fragmentation of the partial information systems and the associated strong administrative burden. This situation stems both from the incomplete legislative framework, but also from the lack of the concept and awareness of the managerial positions. This work deals with other selected issues. The first is the area of designing the data model topology track that satisfies the requirements set out in legislation, both European and national level. The data model was designed with regard to a sufficient degree of variability. The work contains a section dedicated to the implementation of the data model and solution design of problems associated with visualization arcs. Another area is the collection of geographic data. Data collection is one of the key tasks in the implementation and maintenance of the information system. The acquisition of the geographical data can be lengthy and costly. We therefore suggest how to use inertial measurement in acquisition of topological data. This method could speed up the entire process of data capturing with sufficient precision and reduce the costs to the acceptable range.

Vlyv environmentálních faktorů na charakter zpěvu jihoafrických ptáků / Environment and avian song: case of South African birds

Mikula, Peter January 2015 (has links)
Relationship between animal signalization and environmental conditions, where these species are living, is one of crucial topics of ecology. Using two complementary statistical approaches (fourth-corner and RLQ analyzes) I investigated geographical variation in parameters of bird vocalization in South Africa (RSA) and Lesotho. Altogether, I used nine quantitative and five qualitative acoustic traits for 472 bird species and nine environmental variables which could significantly influence parameters of their vocalization. My results supported findings of previous studies about the important effect of body size on species-specific vocal characteristics. In passerines, analyzes corrected for body size showed that the number of elements and element types were increasing with variability of natural conditions and were highest in very arid and climatically unpredictable areas. Element and element type rate were positively associated with altitude. Minimal song frequency in passerines and frequency range of vocalization in other birds were negatively correlated with average temperature of warmest and coldest month of the year, respectively. Similarly, environmental variables significantly influenced distribution of several qualitative song traits in passerines. Passerines, where female song and...

Geografická gramotnost při práci s grafikami u patnáctiletých žáků na ZŠ a víceletých gymnázií / Geographical literacy in work with graphics for 15-year-old pupils at lower secondary schools

Štochl, Vojtěch January 2020 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of a part of geographical literacy, specifically the skills associated with working with graphics such as tables, graphs, maps, or pictures, but, to a lesser extent, with the necessary knowledge. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, where the literature on the topic is discussed and a practical part, where I describe the process of creating the test, its application and evaluation. The results are then subjected to analysis and discussion. In the research, I used the method of testing pupils of different schools - from elementary schools (lower secondary stage) to grammar schools and from Prague's schools to the Central Bohemian's ones. The testing took place in electronic form. The research sample of testing consisted of ninth-grade elementary school students and their equivalent groups from grammar schools - quarters. This is therefore a group of children aged about 15, for whom it is assumed (mainly for lower secondary ones) that they will no longer come into contact with formal geography education, and therefore they should be elementary geographically literate youths. The results of the work show that geographical knowledge is an important prerequisite for the development of geographical skills. Furthermore, the marks that students receive at...

Dopravně geografické atributy Jihočeského kraje / Transport-Geographical Attributes of the South Bohemian Region

WIPPLINGER, Martin January 2013 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the transport-geographical attributes of the South Bohemian Region. Basically, the thesis considers two important characteristics of the settlement structure-transport relationship. These are transport regionalization and hierarchization of the transport centres. Besides the viewpoint of the public transport the diploma thesis also deals with the individual automobile transport. The first chapters describe goals of the thesis and analyse relevant literature. These are followed by detailed methodological part containing the description of the choice of the settlement centres, delimitation of the transport regions and the analysis of hierarchy of the transport nodes. The further chapters analyse the real condition of the South Bohemian Region itself from the points of view of the attributes mentioned above.

Analýza lokální marketingové komunikace na vybrané společnosti / Analysis of the local marketing communication on the chosen company

Zimolová, Michaela January 2011 (has links)
The aim of my Master's Thesis is to analyse the local marketing communication of the Vodafone Czech Republic, a.s. company. I use current secondary information sources and primary resources are collected through in-depth interviews with specialists and a method of observation. My Master's Thesis starts from theoretical information on the issue, then it continues with practical findings and finally, I close up with a summary of the analysis and recommendations. I found out that the mobile telecommunications market offers a great potential for local marketing for both mobile service providers, as well as for other companies in the market. In the international Vodafone Group the marketing communication is directed mainly locally within the individual states, communication is unified and has the central character of the rules, but there are many local exceptions. In the Czech Republic, Vodafone has active, regionally based local marketing communications since the summer of 2010, but a local marketing potential is not fully utilized so far. Future trends in marketing suggest greater use of new technologies, mobile and online marketing. Local marketing will belong to the portfolio of a successful organisation.

Teoretické a metodologické problémy produkce evidence v adiktologii. / Theoretical and Methodological Issues in the Evidence Production in the Addictology.

Petruželka, Benjamin January 2021 (has links)
Background: Indicators, primarily administrative indicators, the field of addiction studies are considered imperfect, approximate and associated with a number of issues. Among others, these issues are based in the fact that administrative indicators are not primarily research indicators. In spite of their shortcomings, these indicators are an important part of public policy making, as they are part of strategic documents and can be used to assess the situation and develop policies in the field of addictive substances. Objectives: The first objective of this thesis was to identify issues related to the administrative indicators. The second objective was to propose the directions for development in areas that had been identified as problematic, i.e., the theoretical and methodological framework. The third objective was to apply selected procedures that had been proposed in the previous parts of the thesis. Methods: To meet the first objective, the basic issues associated with the use of administrative indicators were identified using a narrative review of the literature. The directions for the development of the theoretical and methodological framework were elaborated, responding to the issues identified in the review. The third objective was achieved by application of the approaches described in the...
