This diploma thesis deals with the history of the town Aš. The first historical part describes the history of the town since the first mentions to the present days. During the historical development of the region as well as the town itself the diploma thesis focuses mainly on the interesting or unusual events or the differences between the development of the Czech territory central region and the region of Aš. In this diploma thesis is also emphasised the historical development of the textile industry that was interwoven with this region. The didactic part depicts the topic connected with the educational area called Man and his world, specifically describes the thematic areas Place where we live and Man and Time. It also describes the connection between the historical education and project-based learning. The project Time traveling through the town Aš focuses on getting to know the region for the fourth graders. The pupils work with historical materials, meet the town's history and compare the historical and present situations. The project helps the pupils understand the particularity of the place they live in and helps them create a favourable relationship with the town. (English) What is liability?1 This "big" question has proven to be too tough for many private law theorists during the past 60 years. A dominant Czech approach to liability is the so-called theory of sanction: liability is a secondary duty imposed due to breach of a primary duty. At the same time, however, liability is conceptualized as an active institute, i.e. as liability to fulfil an obligation. This implies a specific "Czech" problem of liability: a paradoxical situation where a man can be liable because he was sanctioned, and also be sanctioned because he was liable. Liability in this sense seems to be an inherently flawed and meaningless concept, since both theories aspire to describe liability to the same extent (co-extensively). The most recent trend in Czech legal theory is thus a sceptical approach that completely eliminates the concept of liability from legal discourse. This is contrary to an ongoing and presumably meaningful debate on liability in foreign non-Czech literature that supports the most recent analytical and normative approaches to European legal regulation and its developments. Unlike in Czech language, this literature treats liability (Haftung) and responsibility (Verantwortung) as two discrete concepts. But why is this so? Giovita Scalvini, (Brescia 1791- 1843), homme de lettres et patriote du Risorgimento italien, en 1806 commenca à écrire des vers, des ébauches de romans, des pensées à caractère moral et civil. En 1816, il se transféra à Milan pour collaborer à la Biblioteca italiana, mais il sympathisa avec les romantiques du Conciliatore et les événements politiques de son temps, il est donc arrêté à la suite des mouvements insurrectionnels. Il passe neuf mois en prison ; puis s’exile en Suisse, à Londres et à Paris. Enfin, en Belgique, il traduit la première traduction (partielle) en langue italienne du Faust de Goethe. Après l'amnistie de 1838, il rentre à Brescia où il meurt. Son œuvre critique (Considerazioni Morali sull’Ortis (1817), Dei Promessi Sposi (1831) le place parmi les principaux critiques italiens du début du XIXe siècle. Un témoignage sous forme imprimée est parvenu jusqu’à nous grâce à Niccolò Tommaseo, qui a accepté l’invitation du testament de Scalvini où celui-ci lui confiait ses propres écrits inédits et l’autorisait à choisir et à publier ce qui, à son avis, valait la peine d’être connu. Le but principal de cette thèse est de présenter trois manuscrits inédits et ses Mémoires, en cherchant à encadrer le contexte culturel où les écrits se sont formés ainsi que leur transmission. La partie générale terminée, on a reproduit les manuscrits ainsi que leurs notes de présentation, dans cet ordre : «Abbozzi di romanzi. II», apographe ; «Pensieri vari», apographe ; un manuscrit autographe relié, qui contient plusieurs citations tirées de différents auteurs de littérature italienne et latine ; enfin la transcription de ses Mémoires et la conclusion terminent cette recherche. / Giovita Scalvini (Brescia 1791-1843), man of letters, and patriot of Risorgimento in 1806 began to write verses, drafts of novels, moral and civil thoughts. From 1816 he collaborated in Milan to the periodic Biblioteca italiana; but he soon sympathized with the romantics of Il Conciliatore. Involved in the political events of his time, he was arrested as part of insurrectional movements. After nine months in prison he went into exile in Switzerland, London and Paris. Finally in Belgium, he translated, for the first time in Italian, the first part of Goethe's Faust (1835). After the amnesty of 1838, he returned to Brescia where he died. His critical works (Dei Promessi Sposi, Lugano (1831), Considerazioni Morali sull'Ortis (1817), place him among the leading italian critics of the beginning of the19th century. There is therefore a huge gap between what Scalvini decided to publish and what remained in his drawers. A printed form of testimony has come down to us thanks to Niccolò Tommaseo, who accepted the invitation expressed in Scalvini's testament: he left his own unpublished writings and allowed him to choose and publish what, in his opinion, was worth to be known. The main purpose of this thesis is to present three unpublished manuscripts, and his Memories, trying to frame the cultural context where the works formed. The general part completed, the manuscripts as well as their presentation notes are reproduced in this order: "Abbozzi di romanzi. II", apographe, "Pensieri vari", apographe; a hardback autographed that contains several latin and italian litterary quotes. Finally, an annotated transcription of his Memories and the conclusion complete this research work

Základem diplomové práce je finanční analýza akciové společnosti NAREX Česká Lípa za období 2001 až 2004. Hodnocení finančního zdraví firmy na základě horizontální, vertikální a poměrové analýzy, dále komplexní rozbor pomocí bonitního modelu, indexu důvěryhodnosti, Altmanova modelu a ekonomické přidané hodnoty. Práce se také zabývá porovnáním firmy s konkurencí podnikající v oboru a historií zkoumaného podniku.

This thesis deals with the history and the current situation in physical education and sport in Český Krumlov. Above all, it focuses on the development of individual sports societies and the course of their activities from their beginnings to the present. The development of sport in the chosen area is divided into particular phases, according to important milestones of the historical development of our country. The thesis is devoted to all the important sports in Český Krumlov. Sports associations are chronologically classified into individual phases according to their origin in the first two chapters. The other two chapters classify individual sectors according to their importance in the city. The first period starts at the beginning of organized sporting activities in the city, known from preserved materials and is dated up until 1918, that is, until the end of the First World War. The second period takes place during the interwar period, until the end of the Second World War. The third period begins in 1945 and ends in the revolutionary year of 1989. The last fourth period is devoted to the latest sporting history from 1989 to the present. The oldest information was drawn from the preserved chronicles, archive sources of individual sports associations, literature, and the period novels. Information from the third and fourth periods are complemented by interesting facts from interviews with witnesses to the establishment of physical education sections and particular sporting events.

The diploma thesis deals with the subject racism in education, in the subject upbringing to citizenship at the second degree of elementary school. The issue of racism during history, racialist theories, ideology and the current situation of the extremist movements in Czech Republic are described in the theoretical part. The practical part focuses on didactic processing of this topic and its teaching at the second degree of elementary school. The issue is taught at elementary schools in ČB, at ZŠ J. Š. Baara, ZŠ L. Kuby, ZŠ Máj 1. Within education these hypothesis are beeing verified: 1. Do students know the term racism and do they know how to define it? 2. Do students have prejudice against other races? The goal of the diploma thesis is to find out, how students apprehend racism and what is their relationship with other races.

This thesis is theoretical nature and focuses on the methodology of taping. In the work has been used various literary sources and Internet resources. The aim was to create a comprehensive text, that includes not only its own methodology, but also the anatomical description taping parts of movement system, the most common injuries and prevention of injuries. It also contains a comparison of classical Taping with Kinesio - Taping. The part of the thesis was created a methodological taping sheets suitable for use in practice.

The diploma thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to the concept of integrated thematic teaching, the history of silver ore mining and coinage in Kutná Hora. The practical part presents the integrated thematic education for pupils of the secondary school, which was verified in practice at secondary school in Suchdol. The mining of silver ore and silver coinage in Kutná Hora was explained theoretically and practically to pupils. Pupils worked with school historical sources and literature relevant to the subject. Part of the practical part was a field trip to the Italian Court in Kutná Hora. In the teaching were used methods, which support brain-compatible learning according to the concept of integrated thematic teaching (for example an interview, a group work, a photography, a brainstorming, etc.). Part of the diploma thesis is also evaluation of the practical implementation of the proposal. There are reviewed not only the benefits but also the pitfalls of integrated thematic lessons.

In the 1880s and early 1890s, the Prague mathematician Eduard Weyr published his important results in matrix theory. His works represented the only significant contribution to matrix theory by Czech mathematicians in many decades that followed. Although Eduard Weyr was one of the few European mathematicians acquainted with matrix theory and working in it at that time, his results did not gain recognition for about a century. Eduard Weyr discovered the Weyr characteristic, which is a dual sequence to the better known Segre characteristic, and also the so-called typical form. This canonical form of a matrix is nowadays called the Weyr canonical form. It is permutationally similar to the commonly used Jordan canonical form of the same matrix and it outperforms the Jordan canonical form in some mathematical situations. The Weyr canonical form has become much better known in the last few years and even a monograph dedicated to this topic was published in 2011.
