Mnohorozměrné modely extrémních hodnot a jejich aplikace v hydrologii / Multivariate extreme value models and their application in hydrology

Drápal, Lukáš January 2014 (has links)
Present thesis deals with the multivariate extreme value theory. First, concepts of modelling block maxima and threshold excesses in the univariate case are reviewed. In the multivariate setting the point process approach is chosen to model dependence. The dependence structure of multivariate extremes is provided by a spectral measure or an exponent function. Models for asymptotically dependent variables are provided. A construction principle from Ballani and Schlather (2011) is discussed. Based on this discussion the pairwise beta model introduced by Cooley et al. (2010) is modified to provide higher flexibility. Models are applied to data from nine hydrological stations from northern Moravia previously analysed by Jarušková (2009). Usage of the new pairwise beta model is justified as it brought a substantial improvement of log-likelihood. Models are also compared with Bayesian model selection introduced by Sabourin et al. (2013). Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Viskozitní vlastnosti šťávy z bobulí révy vinné

Krčálová, Jana January 2018 (has links)
Theoretical part of the diploma thesis contains basic morphology of grapevine berries, chemical structure, extraction, storing and reproducing of grapewine juice. Literature review does not forget about right possibilities of grapevine juice ana-lysis and technical equipments which are required for measuring of viscosity, density and sugar content. Practical part of this diploma thesis deals with specific set of samples which were created for this thesis. Its about six kinds of grapevine grapes, which were picked up after one week interval for three times. After analysis some differences were detected in me-asured parameters between particular varieties and viscosity relation with sugar con-tent of grapevine juice. Results were discussed and outcome were concluded.

Charakteristika přirozené obnovy v porostech ŠLP Masarykův les Křtiny na základě dat statistické provozní inventarizace

Kikal, Jan January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the natural regeneration of tree species in forest in conversion to the selection forest. Data collection was carried out using the statistical operational inventory method on the property of the Training Forest Enterprise Masaryk Forest Křtiny. Data was collected in year 2013, and 80 plots were then selected for further processing. The number of individuals of natural regeneration was detected, the species of a tree, their height and damage were determined too. The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the state of natural regeneration and to recommend optimal values of the stand dendrometric characteristics with a view to maximizing the number of individuals of natural regeneration. The results show the dependence of some tree species on the forest stand type and height classes. The models for maximizing the number of individuals of natural regeneration are suitable, for example, in natural regeneration in the forest type complex 3S (fresh oak beech). The optimal values for maximizing the number of individuals of natural regeneration of beech are the number of trees per hectare up to 1 500 ind./hectare, stand basal area/hectare from 16 to 33 m2 and the stand volume/ha from 170 to 430 m3/hectare.

Posouzení pevnosti lepení při nastavování překližovaných materiálů

Krejčíř, Michal January 2018 (has links)
This master thesis is focused on mechanical properties of glued scarf for long-grain plywood extension made by request of company Orlimex CZ s.r.o. Main goal was to find out best type of joint and glue for this purpose and compare strength prop-erties of scarf jointed plywood versus non-jointed plywood. The reason for scarf-jointing plywood is the production on custom sized and non-standard panels as well as evaluating panel´s quality and possible application of cut off boards. All plywood properties were tested according to CSN EN terms and evaluated by statistics and cut analysis

Pravděpodobnostní rozdělení funkcionálních náhodných veličin / Probability distribution of functional random variables

Dolník, Viktor January 2021 (has links)
We describe basic notions of functional random elements and the space of functions L2 [0, 1]. We discuss the non-existence of a probability density functional and the re- quirements for integrating in a functional space. In Chapter 2, we define distribution functionals and introduce a goodness-of-fit test which utilises them. The concept of char- acteristic functionals follows in Chapter 3, along with the latest test for Gaussianity of functional random elements. We conclude the chapter with our own new goodness-of- fit test, where we prove the distribution of its test statistic under the alternative, then under the null hypothesis, and lastly the distribution of the bootstrapped test statistic. Finally, we illustrate the theory on a simulation study of the empirical significance level and power of the goodness-of-fit tests. 1

Vliv obsahu tuku a sušiny na reologické vlastnosti bílých jogurtů

Kužmová, Barbora January 2017 (has links)
The thesis is aimed at monitoring the effect of fat and dry matter on rheological properties of white yogurts. The theoretical part describes the milk and milk products with a focus on yogurt, its production, composition and nutritional value. A review of literature continues with physical and mechanical properties of the fluids, rheological properties, viscosity and its measurement. The practical part aims to evaluate selected yogurt samples, to determine their density, viscosity, shear stress depending on shear rate and the time and temperature dependence of viscosity. For individual samples of yogurt were compiled flow and viscosity curve using Ostwald-de Waele model and based on Newton's law of viscosity, it was determined what kind of liquid was involved. Furthermore, it was observed whether the fat content and dry matter content had an effect on the density and viscosity of yogurt.

Vztah hustoty porostu ozimých plodin a intenzity zaplevelení v provozních podmínkách

Punčochář, Radek January 2017 (has links)
Weed infestation was carried out in the vegetation of oilseed rape and winter wheat in the operating conditions. The aim was to observe a difference between between autumn and spring in the weed species composition in individual crops. Species Chenopodium strictum and Thlaspi arvense were identified in the vegetation of oilseed rape in autumn and species Capsella bursa-pastoris and Tripleurospermum inodorum during spring. Species Euphorbia cyparissias, Stelaria media and Rumex crispus were found in winter wheat during autumn. Results, which are not statistically significant, show that there is a relation between the density of winter crop vegetation and the weed species composition. Species Chenopodium strictum, Thlaspi arvense, Triticum aestivum and Tripleurospermum inodorum occurred in sparse population of oilseed rape. Species Lycopsis arvensis and Polygonum arenastrum were found in denser vegetation of oilseed rape. Species Avena fatua, Stelaria media and Thlaspi arvense were observed in sparse population of winter wheat and in denser species Geranium dissectum and Erodium cicutarium.

Vliv pozice v kmeni a stanoviště na přirozenou trvanlivost dřeva douglasky tisolisté (Pseudotsuga menziesii)

Dobrovolný, Jakub January 2017 (has links)
This thesis deals with a finding off a relationship between natural durability of Douglas fir wood against wood decaying fungi (Serpula lacrymans and Fibroporia vaillantii) and its habitat growth and position in the trunk. Durability of wood was determined as a percentage of mass loss compared to the original sample. The theoretical part describes all the problems related to this topic. In second part, the measured values are statistically evaluated and compared with literature.
