Analýza metod posouzení pevnosti lepených materiálů z masivního dřeva

Pipíška, Tomáš January 2017 (has links)
This study aims to compare the strength of bonding joint and bonding quality depending on the proportion of violations. The first part contains a research of various types of adhesives. Based on the research, two types of adhesive were chosen - the PVAC and UF adhesives. These adhesives are used directly in manufacturing of solid wood panels. Our test samples were made of beech wood and oak wood using both types of adhesive, four groups of samples altogether. The thesis contains an analysis of the requirements for bonding strength as well as production of samples from solid wood panel. According to current standards, the tests were performed to determine the density, moisture content, strength of bonding joint, the bonding quality and proportion of violations.

Uchycení a růst smrků během spontánní sukcese a technické rekultivace na výsypkách po těžbě uhlí / Establishment and growth of spruces in reclaimed and unreclaimed plots on heaps after coal mining

Spurná, Veronika January 2021 (has links)
Coal is the most important raw material mined in our country. The mining acitivity creates huge impact on the landscape. The aim of the thesis is to compare the attachment of spruces on spoil tips created by coal mining and their growth during spontaneous succession and reclamation. The studied non-recultivated areas are overgrown with spontaneous vegetation consisting mainly of willow (Salix caprea), white birch (Betula pendula) and aspen poplar (Populus tremula L.). The reclaimed area only consists of planted Norway spruce (Picea abies). The density of localities, age and height structure, layout on terrain waves and distance from the edge of the dump were studied. Spruces were also mapped using GPS. The density of spruce vegetation on reclaimed areas is significantly higher than on succession, however, their growth is slower. On non-reclaimed areas, the growth of already attached spruces is significantly faster than on reclaimed areas. The results show a higher attachment of spruces on the slopes of the waves, especially on the northern leeward side, rather than in the troughs or on the peaks. The results show the possibility of undercutting succession areas with climax trees as a promising method of reclamation. Keywords: spruce, succession, reclamation, establishment of trees, density of trees

Hustota Minkovského funkcionálů stacionárních náhodných množin / Density of Minkowski functionals of stationary random sets

Dohnálek, Filip January 2014 (has links)
Title: Density of Minkowski functionals of stationary random sets Author: Bc. Filip Dohnálek Department: Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Supervisor: prof. RNDr. Jan Rataj, CSc., Mathematical Institute of Charles University Abstract: In the presented work we can find the created theory of random closed excursion set generated by means of Gaussian real random field. We specialize in a real random field, which is defined on the regular stratified manifold. The text includes a determination of conditions for a random field and stratified manifold in which densities of the intrinsic volumes for excursion sets exist. Then subsequently attributes and relations of the excursion set are derived for the existence of densities of the intrinsic volumes. Finally, a simulated study is made where we compare theoretical and estimated values of densities. This is followed by a discussion on the results, which we compare to the Boolean model. Keywords: Densities of the intrinsic volume, Excursion set, Manifold, Real random field

Modelování charakteristik obyvatelstva z topografických dat / Modeling population with topographic data

Šimbera, Jan January 2016 (has links)
Accurate spatial population data are an important requirement in many applications. In this thesis, the problem of disaggregating the spatial distribution of population density and rent costs using a machine learning model is studied. An approach based on freely available ancillary data such as OpenStreetMap and Urban Atlas is proposed and implemented in the form of an automated Python toolbox for ArcGIS. The applications on the urban areas of Prague, Vienna and Ljubljana show promising results, overperforming the competing population disaggregation solutions in spatial resolution and displaying a satisfying degree of transferability. A number of further improvements is suggested. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Analýza krajinných změn vlivem komplexní pozemkové úpravy / Analysis of landscape changes during the complex landscape management

HEJMAN, Martin January 2015 (has links)
This diploma thesis was written to analyze and evaluate the changes of the landscape in selected cadastral communities with a finished complex landscape management. The analysis was completed in four time periods. It included a historical time period in 1952, a period before the landscape management, a period during the designing of landscape management and the present condition of the landscape. Changes that appeared in the landscape were evaluated for land use, the permanent landscape structure, the density of the road network and ecotones. According to the results of the diploma thesis it is possible to find out how the complex landscape management project for individual studied areas contributed on the progress of the changes of the landscape.

State trajectory approach to the interpretation of self-organization in the Belousov-Zhabotinsky reaction

ZHYROVA, Anna January 2017 (has links)
The Belousov-Zhabotinsky reaction is a well-known model for investigating the self-organization manifestations in nature. The chemical reaction cascade is easy to control and measure in laboratory conditions, which makes the investigation of diverse scenarios of the system behavior possible. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the course of the reaction under the assumption of multifractality of observed chemical patterns. The approach of the information entropy theory was applied to image analysis to assess the visible changes in the reaction oscillation. Furthermore, the new characteristics - point information gain entropy and point information gain entropy density - were also introduced. These values were used to construct the state trajectory of the complex system with unique oscillation states recognition by multivariate stochastic data analysis. The reliability of the developed approach was tested on numerous experiments, including the insufficiently-studied BZ reaction wave formation under the space constriction and distortion by re-shaking effect. It has been confirmed that each of the system states has its own characteristic spectrum of information entropy. The obtained state-trajectories for the BZ reaction allows researchers to study the changing system behavior in response to variation of the initial conditions and to make a prediction about state-trajectory evolution in the imminent future. It was showed that the information entropy calculation is an effective and cheap tool for non-invasive analysis of a wide range of self-organized systems. Finally, it may be implemented also to automate laborious tasks for different cell stage recognition in medicine and biology.

Role měkkých faktorů v rozvoji vnitřní periferie východních Čech / The role of soft factors in the development of the inner periphery of the Eastern Bohemia

Komárek, Marek January 2017 (has links)
The role of soft factors in the development of the inner periphery of the Eastern Bohemia Abstract In recent years, research on conditionality process of space polarization and regional development puts emphasis on understanding importance of endogenous and "soft" factors. General theories of regional development (formed mainly on the basis of evaluating "hard" data) are verified by frequent case studies because of their limited explanatory power. In these case studies, especially qualitative approaches of evaluation are applied. Influence and validity of "soft" factors significantly increases with decreasing hierarchical level, so it is desirable to conduct empirical research at the municipal level. Diploma thesis aims to analyze "soft" factors of regional development and understand the nature of differences in socio-economic development at the municipal level in the inner periphery of Bohemia. The concept of the institutional thickness has become the theoretical basis. This concept has logical overlap to the concept of the social capital. The objects of research are the spatial co-operation of actors of regional development (mayors), their reciprocal trust and engagement in local activities. Thesis aims to identify and to explain the nature of relations, direction of interactions and impact of political...

Budoucnost lidského osídlování exoplanet / The future of human exoplanet settlement

Slezák, Jan January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis "The future of human exoplanet settlement from the present point of view" is focused on the analysis of the development of the urban compo-sition of the city for the purpose of finding the most suitable concept of the set-tlement. Its foundation is hypothetically put on some of the planets outside the solar system, where could be comparable conditions as on Earth. Installation in these extreme conditions is chosen deliberately so that the essential aspects of the urban layout come to the fore. In this way it is possible at the same time to verify the presumption of stability of the basic assumptions of a functional city and ap-ply the final conclusions in the current conditions as well.
