Cizinci na počátku školní docházky / Foreigners at the beginning of school attendance

My diploma thesis focuses on including students from foreign countries in the first grade of primary school and problems related to these questions. It deals with Czech and foreign educational systems, which could help teachers to understand different approaches of parents from foreign countries and their children to education. This thesis explains multicultural differences, which could support better communication with students from foreign countries and their parents as well. This work offers possibilities of subvention of children from foreign countries in the process of including in the Czech educational system. On the basis of research it is obvious, that students from foreign countries are mostly successfully adapted to the educational system. Rarely there are problems with language boundaries or social and emotional development. Teachers consider admission of a student from a foreign country as a benefit but they often point out that it also means a harder work for them. In case of some difficulties teachers often cooperate with non-profit organisation Meta.

This thesis is focused on the issue and possibilities of an education of disabled pupils in primary schools. The first two chapters deal with basic terms relating to this issue and are focused on legislation, current trends in the area of an education of disabled pupils, outline possibilities of integrative and inclusive education and consultancy services in the Czech education system. The third chapter brings an overview of current situation concerning education of these pupils in the Region Pardubice. Last chapter is dedicated to analysis primary school pupils' attitudes to the joint education with disabled students.

The diploma thesis "Creativity of teachers in an educational process in primary school" focuses on creativity of teachers, which is a prerequisite of every teacher in current education. The thesis is divided into two parts; theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on general knowledge, which appertains to the questions of creativity in the work of the pedagogues. In this part, the important factors are also described, which help to lead to the creative approach in the teaching. One of these factors is using activating methods. These represent the main approaches of the pedagogues to teach creatively. The theoretical part is also focused on the position of the teachers in the process of school inclusion and on the appropriate teaching methods and strategies for inclusive education. The practical part focuses on activating methods in teaching. The investigative survey was carried out via questionnaire, and its main objective was to explore the extent of using activating methods by teachers at basic schools. It also looks at whether these methods are considered to be an appropriate instrument to the creative and effective mediation of the curriculum for all pupils, including pupils with special education needs. The thesis deals with education of pupils with hearing impairment in elementary schools, specifically in the South Bohemian region. It focuses in particular on their inclusive education. In its chapters, the thesis describes individual structures of the hearing analyzer, characterizes the degrees of hearing impairment and classifies persons with hearing impairment into specific categories. The main part of the thesis is a chapter focusing on education of hearing impaired pupils. It deals not only with education in the system of special schools, but concentrates primarily on their study within mainstream education. For this system of education, it is important to identify correctly a support measure, the levels of which are key to ensuring appropriate support for individual pupils. The aim of the work was to map the course of inclusive education of pupils with hearing impairment at elementary schools in the South Bohemian region. This diploma thesis deals with the development of the school climate in a classroom with a seriously physically disabled child who requires permanent presence of an assistant. The theoretical part focuses on physical disabilities and their impact on the psyche of the child, the specifics of including a seriously disabled child in educational instructional contexts and the life of the classroom, and on the cooperation between a form teacher and an assistant whose support and help is required by the child during all lessons. The practical part uses a narrative of two girls and people who are closely related to them to offer answers to the inquiries into how have relationships within such a classroom and the attitude of classmates to a disabled child changed over the years; how can the presence of an assistant affect the climate of the classroom; and whether the external perception of the inclusion of a disabled child as a successful one corresponds with the feelings of the disabled child, of if the child sees the process otherwise. The thesis deals with effectivity of support programmes in inclusive primary education. In recent years, inclusive education is a frequent topic throughout our society. Providing the support programmes leads to increasing quality of education and ensuring equal conditions. The target group of the thesis consists of pupils with communication disabilities. The thesis aims to gather relevant data about given problems. The main objective is to evaluate the effectivity of support programmes on the pupils with communication disabilities. The partial task is to find out which support programmes are used most often by the primary schools. Quality approach was used to fulfil the objectives mentioned above and semistructured interview as a method of data collection. Interviews with pedagogical workers, who educate pupils with communication disabilities, were broadened and verified by analysing relevant documents. Gathered data were processed into ten case studies. Results of the research are rather positive - they point out meaningfulness, usefulness and regular using of support programmes during lessons. The diploma thesis deals with the work of teaching assistant working with pupils with disabilities at the common primary school. Within the framework of the inclusive education the number of pupils with disabilities is increasing and in the result increase also the teaching assistent in the primary school. Work with teaching assistant is in the beginning for many schools but there are still various problems. This topic is relevant today and it is discussed in both academic field and general public. The aim of this diploma thesis is to define the work of the teaching assistants at the primary school and the partial aim is to find out how the teaching assistants perceive their profession or what they would change. To meet these goals, qualitative research methods were used, especially semi-structured interviews together with the information from the respondent's demographic survey. The interviews were processed using note- based coding and for obtained data analytical induction was used. The result of the research is an overview of the activities of the assistant teacher and teamwork of teachers and other professional staff. This master's thesis deals with the Instrumental Enrichment Method of Reuven Feuerstein. It provides an introduction to the method as well as examples of its application in institutionalized Preschool education. The aim of the thesis is to provide insight into aspects of introducing the method as a part of Preschool education. The theoretical part desribes the theoretical framework of the method and defines the method in relation to Preschool education. The theoretical part of the thesis also deals with the principles and Czech legislation of current Preschool education and related inclusive education. The practical part of the thesis derives from a qualitative research on the real practice introduction of the method in institutionalized Preschool education. Research data are based on individual interviews with the nursery school headmasters. The interviewers were from various nursery schools across the Czech Republic, which are registered in the Register of Ministry of Education. The results of the research provide the respondents's opinions and experiences of various extent. The diploma thesis deals with the approaches of Roma parents living in socially excluded localities in Chomutov to the education of their children. The thesis deals with the issue of social exclusion in the Czech Republic and also in the locality of Chomutov. The thesis also informs about the so-called Strategic Plan for Social Inclusion for the years 2017-2020, which was prepared for the city of Chomutov, in cooperation with the city management and the Agency for Social Inclusion and describes in detail the Local Inclusion Plan, which forms an important part of the Strategic Plan for Social Inclusion . It also deals with the issue of education and education for Roma children, segregation of Roma children in schools, inclusive education. The work also deals with Roma parents, Roma children and their pupil role, their social environment with respect to the fulfillment of the given goal. Furthermore, it informs about the personality of a teacher who works with Roma children at school and his / her competences.
