Využití nových médií v muzeologii / Use of new media in museology

Seyčková, Nina January 2012 (has links)
This work connects a practical project, revitalization of Frani Sramka Museum in Sobotka, with available theory. Addressed are three theoretical areas - museum, education and new media. Historically, museums are democratic educational institutions. Currently, museums use mainly principles of non-formal education that displays higher diversity in learning approaches. New media are appropriate means of enrichment and practical application of non-formal education in museums. Museums use new media in diverse ways. This work addresses two uses of new media - technological and conceptual, which stems from the characteristics of new media. The argument of this work is that conceptual new-media approach should be the focus when preparing an exhibition - new-media exhibit is not created purely by incorporation of modern technology. The contribution of this work is a description of a parallel between new media characteristics and functioning of the museum, connection of theory to a practical project and analysis of new-media museum creation , which is up to now unusual in the Czech Republic. Key words: new media; museum; interactivity; non-formal education; Web 2.0

Špačková, Andrea January 2014 (has links)
5 Abstract My diploma thesis is focused on electronic surveillance in the area of consumption, marketing and media. Electronic surveillance is a form of collecting and evaluating data, which were created as a secondary product of electronic devices. The use of new technologies and internet allows spying their users and saving the received data to both state and commercial databases. Subsequent data use is common in the business or crime prevention area. This practice brings the risk of privacy disruption, influencing and directing people. The diploma thesis consists of three main chapters. The first chapter follows up the history of surveillance and its development. The second part is focused on formation of the electronic surveillance and describes different areas of surveillance. The third chapter relates to one concrete area - consumption and marketing. This chapter includes also practical examples. Key words Surveillance, interactivity, customization, reality show, Panopticon, media

Princip interaktivity v multimediálních výukových materiálech u žáků 3. a 4. ročníku základní školy / Interactivity principle in multimedia learning materials in 3rd and 4th grade primary school students

Tetourová, Tereza January 2019 (has links)
The aim of this study was to investigate, whether the aspect of interactivity (meaning problem solving interactivity) implemented in multimedia learning materials would positively influence learning outcomes of students. The third and fourth-grade pupils had been split up in two groups and they learned about a topic of natural sciences for about 20 minutes. The first group were studying from an interactive material - short educational game. The second group were studying from a noniteractive material - short educational animation. As variables we have chosen the following - the learning outcomes of the pupils, the amount of motivation to manipulate with the educational tool and the evaluation of atractivity of this tool. Based on multimedia learning theories (CTML, CATLM), we assumed that interactivity would enhance the extent of motivation, evaluation of atractivity and the learning outcomes. Our results partially confirmed our hypothesis. We found positive effect on motivation and evaluation, nevertheless we found no effect on learning outcomes - there was no difference between the groups within this domain. As one of the possible explanations we propose Sweller's cognitive load theory. KEYWORDS Multimedia learning, interactivity, educational animation, educational game, learning outcomes

Interaktivita ilustrací knih pro děti / Interactivity of ilustrations in the Children's Books

Filipová, Martina January 2018 (has links)
The text searches for the key aspects of interactivity in selected books for children, that activate the child reader in terms of a thought and manipulation. The thesis focuses on the process of how children browse, read, and play with the books Cirkus ulice and Maškary by Dagmar Urbánková. It aims to answer the question of how browsing through the author's books develops visual and reading literacy of a child. The case study is realized applying a method of participant observation. Using the Bloom's revised cognitive taxonomy, we employ the qualitative analysis method to analyse the participative process of a game of eight children from their thought activity viewpoint. We identify the game, participation, communication, variability, experience, and a possibility to change something to be the key principles of interactivity. Based on these identified principles of interactivity and their mutual ties, we propose activities with the examined books, that can be further elaborated on and realized with children in the art or literature education classes. The thesis is processed in the context of reading and visual literacy and their representation in current curricular documents, that serve as a pedagogical background to this thesis. Its professional frame is given by the notion of visual culture and...

Interaktivní aplikace pro výuku tematického celku "Země jako vesmírné těleso" / Interactive application for teaching the topic of the Earth as a planet

Černík, Václav January 2017 (has links)
Interactive application for teaching the topic of the Earth as a planet Abstract The thesis is focused on the creation of an interactive application for teaching the topic of the Earth as a planet at secondary schools. The theoretical part generally deals with digital technologies for teaching, educational applications and pedagogical-psychological aspects of the subject. The topic was defined and analyzed using curriculum documents, textbooks and school atlases. Based on the analysis, partial topics were selected and turned into an application that covers separate learning objects. 8 learning objects were created ("Distances and dimensions", "Earth's orbit", "Seasons", "Solar time", "Moon phases", "Solar and Lunar eclipses", "Orbiting around the barycenter", "Tidal phenomena") and 4 learning objects were taken ("Solar System", "Earth's shape - geoid", "Time zones", "Future eclipses"). Each learning object has been provided with its theoretical introduction and methodological questions and tasks. The final educational application will be available on the Internet as a web application, without the need for installation. Keywords: educational application, interactivity, teaching Geography, the Solar System, the Earth, the Moon

Reliéfy / Reliefs

Horčicová, Monika Unknown Date (has links)
This master´s thesis consists of three relief objects composed from femur bones. The first relief object is geodetic structure applied to the shape of a sphere. The following two are deformed by softening the material from which they are cast. The second relief object also works with geometry (a square at the base) and systematic folding bones according to a clear order. The third relief can directly interfere with the viewer - the individual femurs contain every two magnets and therefore can move freely with them after the metal plate.
