Eliáš, P. Economic context of alternative production processes of orange wines. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2019. Main goal of diploma thesis is to assess the possibilities of production of or-ange wines and to evaluate the economic context associated with their produc-tion. In this context, two production methods are considered, namely the produc-tion of orange wines in a qvevri clay pot and in a French oak barrel. The econom-ic effects are assessed by using dynamic methods of assessing the effectiveness of investments in terms of the expected return on investment and the internal rate of return of the investment. Before evaluating the efficiency of the investment, the expected cost and revenue structure of the production of orange wines is calcu-lated. The primary data required is obtained primarily through in-depth inter-views with the producers of these wines. In-depth interviews were conducted with a total of 10 orange wine producers out of a total of 30 estimated in the Czech Republic. In each of the investments a different wine production process is calculated. This ensures difference of made orange wine in the case of the qvevri or the French oak barrel, which allows for more complex conclusions and a bet-ter generalizability of the work.

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of investment with regard to the development of the territory. The theoretical part focuses on investment evaluation, spatial planning and the conclusion is devoted to territorial development. The practical part discusses two variants of investment in the preparation of areas for housing in the town of Holešov. In the first, the investor is the city of Holešov, in the second is the developer. The conclusion of the practical part connects the mentioned investment with the development of the territory.

The commercial and investment relations between Thailand and the Czech Republic are longstanding. Currently, the Czech Republic imports a number of agricultural products and food from Thailand, and Thailand imports industrial technology from the Czech Republic. As a result, there are opportunities for Czech companies to invest in and establish business cooperation with Thai businesses with agreements to guarantee stable commercial investment relations between Thailand and the Czech Republic. Because of this, the Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT) between both countries facilitates further development. In this master´s thesis I deal most with methods of economical effectivity of investments in electricity distribution and transmition from suppliers to final customers and also with methodology of economical investment effectivity in company E.ON. This proposal of evaluation methodology determines net present value, internal rate of return, and return period of a particular investment project. These surveyed values are determined from yearly net Cash Flow (CF) or from cumulated net CF. I have chosen program Microsoft Office Excel 2003 for its relatively easy input of parameters, simple assemble of calculation algorithm and also for convenient way of calculation results presentation.

This thesis examines with subsidies and taxes related to renewable energy generation, solar energy generation in particular. I have chosen this topic for its relevance to current situation and ongoing attention it enjoys from the media. The work comprises of five sections. In the first section, I focus on original renewable energy legislation that was in effect till year 2012. Here I discuss both Czech and European legislation with emphasis on the Czech system of subsidies based on the the Act No. 180/2005 Col. In the second part, I deal with solar generation boom during 2009 a 2010. I describe both causes of the solar boom and legislation adopted to lessen its negative effects. Specifically, I discuss the levy on solar generation, which has caused widespread debate and protests from the owners of the solar generation installations. Moreover, I discuss the reversals of the income tax examptions related to renewable electricity generation. Práce se zaměřuje na působnost, prapůsobnost a pravomoc, organizaci a činnost Městského úřadu Česká Třebová. Teoreticky je popsáno postavení a působnost městského úřadu. V práci jsem analyzovala organizační strukturu. Praktická činnost odborů je ukázána na příkladu živnostenského odboru a odboru rozvoje města a investic. V závěrech jsou podány pozitivní i kritické postřehy.

V diplomové práci popisuji přímé zahraniční investice v České republice a jejich vývoj v jednotlivých obdobích, hodnotím konkurenceschopnost České republiky v boji o zahraniční investory, popisuji lokalizační faktory přímých zahraničních investic. Práce také popisuje systém investičních pobídek zavedený v České republice. Práce je rozdělena o čtyř kapitol. První kapitola je věnována teorii přímých zahraničních investic, v druhé kapitole analyzuji lokalizační faktory, které ovlivňují příliv přímých zahraničních investic, ve třetí kapitole popisuji vývoj přímých zahraničních investic v České republice od jejího vzniku až do současnosti. Poslední kapitolu věnuji systému investičních pobídek v České republice.

The thesis is focused on the evalution of real investment. In the theoretical part are summarized the basic analysis, investment characteristics, their input parameters and evalution methods which are needed to assess the investment. In the practical part of the work the company is introduced at first, after analysis of the external enviroment and inner potential of the company is performed. Next investment project is presented, his input parameters and evaluation of the methods from the theoretical part is performed. In finally analysis of sensitivity and complex evaluation of the project is performed. The aim of this thesis will be give recommendations for the management of the company, if the project implement or not implement.

The diploma work deals with the effective use of financial resources that the enterprise has available, specifically evaluating their options and investment plan formation. The first part introduces general information about capital structure. There are explained the types of financial resources, their pros and cons and possibilities of their utilization. This chapter also contains the types of investments and methods of assessment needed to correct assembly of the above mentioned investment plan. Own part introduces general information about a particular company. This is followed by a brief analysis of the capital structure of the company, which explores ways of financing, financial budget formulation, the composition of costs, or the proportion of the financial resources of the enterprise. This analysis is followed by the evaluating of all investments. Investments are compared and selected the best of them according to the results of applied indicator. The information obtained is used in the final chapter, which is compiled investment plan for the year 2015. The findings are then used to draw conclusions and propose changes in addressing the capital structure and investment evaluation.

This work discusses about issues of investment decision, which is crucial for every business. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the effectiveness of selected investment project. To assess the potential of this investment, was necessary to assess the current status, whether the enterprise has enough resources to finance this intensive investment. Whether the project is not associated with an increase in the financial risk of the company.
