This thesis describes the current state of the river Oslava in Oslavany design and reconstruction of the existing fixed weir in the affected location. As a best alternative reconstruction of the existing fixed weir reconstruction was chosen the hard threshold floating weir inflatable weirs. The next part of the thesis describes the proposed solution, and the last part of the thesis deals with the assessment of the proposed solutions.

This thesis deals with the problem of waste heat, namely, the exhaust gas which are not frequently used. Specifically, it is a design of thermoelectric generators set, power electronics for fan and heat exchanger proposal. The entire system uses the energy of the waste heat to increase the heating efficiency.

The thesis is focused on the electrodeposition of tantalum from ionic solution 1-butyl-1- methylpyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl) imide, ([BMP]Tf2N) at 200°C and description of related transfer and kinetic phenomena on the interface between the ionic solution and working electrode. Furthermore, the electrodeposition of tantalum layers in different ionic solutions containing tantalum salts and especially in ([BMP]Tf2N) is introduced. In the last part of the thesis, results of cyclic voltammetry, surface analysis SEM and elemental analysis EDX are discussed. MIS (metal-insulator-semiconductor) structure was determined comprising porous anodic alumina as the insulator and semiconductive TaxOy on the top of the insulator. The electric conductivity of the MIS structures was studied by using amper-volt IV and CV characteristics. The results of the cyclic voltametry, impedance spectroscopy and chronoamperometry are discussed.

This thesis is a case study with a goal to comprehensively map and depict the evolution of the so- called non-supplement zones. This name is an abbreviated term that is used in media for the general provision authorizing establishing of areas of higher incidence of socially undesirable phenomena, where housing supplements are not to be payed to any new applicants. Bohemian and Moravian municipalities can make use of this measure since 2017. Thus they aim to fight the poverty industry and the problems connected with it. Additionally, a Constitutional Court decision on the appeal on this measure made by a group of senators is awaited since 2017. In this thesis, the problematique is viewed both on policy and politics level, both on national and local level, using the theory of the policy process, agenda setting, and the multiple streams theory. Under examination are also the levels of discourses and framing of the problem. To demonstrate a local context, there was chosen the case of the Kladno municipality, which holds a specific position in the context since it is the first city in the Czech Republic that decided to declare this general provision on its entire territory. The theme of this thesis is the analysis of socially pathological issues in the context of placing children into children's homes. It investigates the causes of these issues and possible methods of prevention. At the beginning of the thesis there is a brief characteristics and history of institutional care in the Czech Republic. There is also a part about the formation of socially pathological issues based on internal and external causes in humans life. Furthermore there is a detailed analysis of certain socially pathological issues in the families and their influence on a child's development. These specific issues were chosen based on findings made in Children's Home Dolní Počernice. In the conclusion of the theoretical part of this thesis there are mentioned possible ways of supporting families - as a method of prevention of placing children into institutional care. Especially focused was the method Housing First and its first testing in Brno, where the positive impact on the quality of life of participating families was achieved. The presented master thesis deals with the work of Jane Austen. The author's novels are analysed from the perspective of the concept of the family, both from a literary and demographic point of view. These research questions constitutes two subject of the examination. The first subject is the family, as it is the cornerstone of Jane Austen's short stories. The objective of this work is to analyse the extent to which family relationships determine the possibilities of the main characters and heroines; how the heroines benefit from family ties or, on the contrary, want to escape from them. The conclusions show that Austen applied this determination in all studied novels. This work further examines the degree of cooperation and rivalry of the individual families in the novels. At this point, a significant diversity of interfamily relationships was found. Secondly, this work maps selected demographic idiosyncrasies in Jane Austen's family, in the families from her short stories, and in historical demographic studies of England at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. The thesis focuses on the socio-educational work methods of the probation and mediation services and of its workers in relation to their clients with imposed probation supervision and on the opportunities for development and support of their healthy social functioning. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part initially are defined the basic concepts and terms, then it is described the target group of conditionally released from prison clients, which currently are under supervision of a probation officer. The thesis sees the imprisonment as a difficult life situation and it deals with the influence of penitentiary environment on the personality of the convict in relation to his further development. In the second part are described the specific activities of the probation and mediation service workers in relation to clients from the target group. The thesis focuses on the socio-educational work of the probation officers, as well as social workers or other organizations for social prevention and their impact on the social stabilization of individuals, belonging to the target group. This diploma work named Socio-Pathological Phenomena at Secondary Vocational School and Their Possible Solution deals, in its theoretical part, with the basic terminology related with this topic. It also focuses on the risk behaviour among today's young people, and briefly introduces socio-pathological phenomena which occured at the surveyed secondary school in the last two years. It also describes other kinds of contemporary risk behaviour among young generation. At the end of theoretical part, there are introduced some of the current trends in school prevention and solution of socio-pathological phenomena. Period of adolescence is of course closely associated with this topic. It's called critical stage, and all the students pass this period during their secondary school attendance. This diploma thesis focuses on integration of pupils with different maternal language to Czech primary schools. It concludes legislation of integration of foreign pupils in the Czech Republic. The diploma thesis deals with the theme of negative effects (forms of risk behaviour) at elementary schools pupils in Český Krumlov and mentions valid legilslation in the field of the risk behaviour primary prevention at school-compulsory choldren and youngsters. The theoretical part describes chosen socially-pathologic effects, the system of primary prevention and MŠMT legislation and other ministries as well in the field of risk behaviour prevention, as well as preventive aktivity of the institutions and organizations in the area of the city of Český Krumlov according to valid laws. The diploma thesis in the practical part includes empirical research performed at chosen elementary schools in Český Krumlov among teachers mapping their experience with the most frequent risk behaviour forms of pupils and further their knowledge and valid legislation usage inthe field of preventation both at schools and duringafter-school activities.
