Our diploma thesis entitled ?The system of prevention of social and pathological phenomena and its implementation at elementary schools? engages in the analysis of possibilities and conditions for and approaches to the implementation of primary pre-vention at elementary schools. The objective of the present diploma is to describe how systems of primary prevention work on the regional and school levels; accordingly, we have performed a comparison of different approaches to this issue at selected schools in the regions of South Bohemia and Pardubice. We have analyzed programmes of the aforesaid regions on the conceptual level, observing the implementation of preventive programmes at particular schools (such as elementary or special). Furthermore, we have examined the assistance as actually pro-vided to schools during the formation of school preventive programmes and their influ-ence on pupils or students as such. We are also interested in how the possibilities that are on offer for the cooperation among schools are utilized and how schools make use of grant programmes provided by regional authorities. The present thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theo-retical part first characterizes and defines basic terms, explaining the most common so-cial and pathological phenomena with the largest impact on the young. Second, a men-tion is made of the system of prevention at both the school and regional levels. Accord-ingly, the practical part focuses on the analysis of school activities in the area of preven-tion, particularly the methodology of prevention, the support of the formation of preven-tive programmes and the influence such programmes have on children. The conclusion summarizes presuppositions and hypotheses which are men-tioned in the introduction. A sociological survey has been conducted at selected schools by means of questionnaires, which will be evaluated at the end of our thesis.

In exordium of thesis I am engaged in the explanation of the conception of socially pathological phenomena and in the diagnosis of this conception into the social pathology and then I describe some of these significant negative and dangerous phenomena, which threaten the youth, too. Mainly I target violent phenomena and dependencies. Subsequently I am resolving the problem of primary, secondary and tertiary prevention, too. I am writing especially about different recommendations and measures, how not to need occur the prevention, especially the tertiary prevention. Next I target the secondary prevention especially the prevention of violent phenomena and dependencies. In conclusion I am focusing on Salesian youth centre - centre of children and youth in České Budějovice and shortly I describe activities of these centre with an eye on the pursuance or the realization of the secondary prevention not to occur the origin or the expansion of socially pathological phenomena.

This Diploma Thesis is concerned with the research on pupils? conception of orthographical questions, importance and relevance to grammatical phenomena and grammatical correctness in current communication used by pupils in secondary schools. The Thesis is divided into three parts. The theoretical part deals with the definition of term ?orthography?, orthographical principles and functions, the importance of orthography and its types. There is also a section in the theoretical part which is concerned with the main tendencies and the newest approaches to orthography in secondary schools. In this part attention is focused on history of orthography, orthographical limitations and analysis of mistakes in current school, further the influence of computer on spelling and its educational usage, types of orthographical exercises, its correction and marking. It also contains a cross-section of orthographical questions in the Slovak Republic and foreigners? spelling problems. The practical part deals with the analysis of theoretical curriculum converted into practical tasks. There are also the most frequent mistakes and pupils? attitude to orthography education in this part, which we got on the basis of questionnaire evaluation. In the third part, which is also practical, there are some methods for pupils? motivation which should help to raise the efficiency of orthography education in secondary schools.

The thesis called "Life attitudes and values of selected groups of adolescents" deals with comparison of changes through longitudinal study in chosen indicators of value orientation and actual life attitudes of adolescents, who are situated in educational institution and being at the same time students of high school preparing themselves for future career. The results are compared with the survey, which was carried out between the years 2009 - 2010. The arrangement of gained data has a character of comparative study, which evaluates an occurrence of certain aspects in respondents' hierarchy of values and maps their shift in a certain period of time. The theoretical part is concerned with attitudes and value orientation, their elements and formations; furthermore it structures a phenomenon of adolescence in general, which is compared in selected indicators with specifically selected groups, which are the subject of the survey. For a better insight into the problematic, the conclusion of the theoretical part specifies an environment of an institutional education and its basic characteristics. The issue is observed from pedagogical, psychological and anthropological point of view. Thermal effects in integrated circuits have increasing impact on chip's lifetime and function. For this reason, the chips must be subjected to electro-thermal simulations prior to the launch of production in order to avoid potential circuit failures. Therefore, in the first part of this diploma thesis these effects and methods of creating thermal models are described. The thesis also explores available tools for electro-thermal simulations and the way these simulators work. In the practical part of the thesis, the operation of electro-thermal simulation in the Eldo tool is verified, a method of automated thermal network creation is proposed and a application for its generation based on the circuit layout is implemented. The results of the electro-thermal simulation with the generated thermal network are compared with the results of the currently used method.

At the end was shortly noticed about method makes use of calorimetric sensor. For experimentally realized has been chosen Faraday Magneto-optic Effect. In optic laboratory has been realized absolute methods and different methods making use of Wollaston polarizer on pneumatic optical desk. The main advantage of this method is the capability to measure the high frequency and high current signals. Next in this thesis has been written theory about Rogowski coil. This method has been experimentally realized in laboratory.

The experimental part of the thesis describe the methods of qualification and quantification of insulating specimen charging effect observed in environmental scanning electron microscope through the use of ionisation and scintillation detector in dependence on water vapour pressure in specimen chamber. The goal of the thesis is formation of the methodics useful to evaluate charging effect at insulating specimens observing and on the basis of measuring, determine optimal conditions for insulating specimen observation with ionisation and scintillation detector.

This thesis doesn´t utilize optical fibers as carriers, but as sources of information, specifically as sensors intended to detect physical effects acting on the optical fiber, which is usually used for telecommunication purposes. Linear and nonlinear properties of the fiber are used to gain information about acting effects on the optical fiber.
