"Porque quiero casarme con un varón hermoso de la orilla del mar" Un análisis de lo grotesco femenino de María Josefa en La casa de Bernarda Alba

Lindgren, Lovisa January 2014 (has links)
This essay is an analysis of the character María Josefa in the play 'The House of Bernarda Alba' (1936) by Federico García Lorca. It is hypothesized that the character of María Josefa can be considered a distorting mirror of the femininity presented in the play, and that through María Josefa this femininity is both revealed and problematized. The analysis adopts theories from the field of the (female) grotesque, using terminology both from Mikhail Bakhtin and Mary Russo. Throughout the analysis it is demonstrated how the character of María Josefa challenges the boundaries and norms which are dictated by Bernarda to control the women of the house. These conventions are challenged by María Josefa with the use of her loud speech, her dressed up appearance, and in her physical resistance. In this manner María Josefa is creating and embodying an alternate feminine view that is uncovered through her consistent provocation and by making herself into "a spectacle", a transboundary behaviour that is well interpreted within the theories of carnival, the grotesque body, and the spectacle of the female grotesque.

Enseñar por medio de los ojos : la relación entre pintura y visiones místicas en los textos de sor Úrsula Suárez y sor Josefa de Peñailillo (S. XVII-XVIII)

Martínez Waman, Catalina January 2013 (has links)

Josefa v porovnání s ostatními středoevropskými kostely / Roman baroque building elements on St. Joseph church compared to other churches in Central Europe

Šipr, Dominik January 2017 (has links)
The master thesis "Roman baroque building elements on St. Joseph church compared to other churches in Central Europe" deals with Roman buildings features in the Carmelite nuns church of St. Joseph in the Lesser Town of Prague. It elucidates the main architectural theme, which is using the architectonic elements of the dome of St. Peter's basilica in the interior of the church of St. Joseph. The thesis sums facts about Abraham Paris - the most probable author of the ground plan. Apart from the detailed description St. Joseph church, the chapters devoted to architecture describe also some Roman churches which might have served as models for St. Joseph church. The thesis further mentions the influence of contemporary philosophical views on emerging baroque buildings in Rome and in Bohemia. The thesis also includes examples of using architectonic elements from famous Roman buildings understood as a way to communicate certain ideological intentions. Keywords Discalced Carmelite nuns, St. Joseph's church, baroque architecture in the Netherlands, Roman influence in Central Europe, oval ground plan

Gustav Voborník jako šéf baletu Divadla Josefa Kajetána Tyla v Plzni v letech 1968 - 1981 / Gustav Vobornik As An Artistic Director Of The Ballet Company Of Theatre Named After Josef Kajetan Tyl In Pilsen (1968-1981)

Beková, Eliška January 2020 (has links)
The thesis' subject is the career of Gustav Voborník, a reliable dancer and an accomplished choreographer, in the J. K. Tyl Theatre in Pilsen from 1968 till 1981. The chief part of the thesis deals with the total of nineteen ballet productions that Voborník created in the Pilsen theatre in his lifetime. A brief introduction discussing the problem of sources in this field of research is followed by a biography of Gustav Voborník, detailing his experience as a dancer and as a choreographer as well as his preparation for a production and for a work with dancers. To complement the overview of Voborník's artistic work, this part also features chapters dedicated to various ensembles that helped shape his artistic personality: the Czechoslovak State Song and Dance Ensemble and the Vít Nejedlý Army Artistic Ensemble. The final chapter before the part describing Voborník's Pilsen works as a choreographer is a short one introducing his views of the folklore, since folk dances and culture in general are the sources of many of his choreographies, while the 2nd half of the 20th century is known as an era of substantial shift in the perception and practice of folk traditions. This most extensive part of the thesis also features an overview of Gustav Voborník's cooperation with the drama ensemble, the operetta,...

Vliv literárních cen na mediální obraz oceněných knih (2012) / Impact of literary prizes awarded to the media image of books

Linhart, Jiří January 2016 (has links)
This diploma thesis researches the impact of a literary prize on the media image of the awarded book in 2012. More precisely I pursue these awards and winning titles: Jaroslav Seifert Prize (Vladimír Binar: Číňanova pěna), Jiří Orten Award (Vratislav Maňák: Šaty z igelitu), Josef Škvorecký Award (Kateřina Tučková: Žítkovské bohyně), Magnesia Litera - The Book of the Year (Michal Ajvaz: Lucemburská zahrada). First I analyse the change of the quantity (the number of references and the share within the text), then I focus on the modification of the journalistic assessment of the title (on the scale positive - neutral - negative). In first case I use a quantitative analysis of media content, in the second case I use a comparative semiotic analysis. My sample are these Czech periodicals, in alphabetical order: A2, Aktuálně.cz, Hospodářské noviny, Host, iDnes.cz, Lidové noviny, Literární noviny, Reflex, Respekt, Tvar. The main output is a discovery, how the Czech print and online written media reflect the results of the literary prizes, also I (try to) determine the media power of each award.

Manželky českých politiků v 19. století / The women of the bohemian politicians in the 19th century

BUREŠOVÁ, Jitka January 2008 (has links)
The women of the bohemian politicians in the 19th century Annotation I have chosen ten women of the bohemian politics living in the 19th century. The first chapter has been about the reasons for choice of the life female partner. I have described the social, lingual and religious background of these women. I have tried to analyse their antenuptial correspondence. The second part of my work has attended to the use of women in the social life and it has focused on their involvement into the {\clqq}morning-room`` life. I have outlined the women incidence in the public asociation in the third chapter.I have been interested in any women activites mainly the philanthrophy. I have tried to find out if the husbands had encouraged thein wives in these acitivities. I have focused on the role of women in the family. I have observed how the husbands had been participated in the running the household and education of their children. I have studied the family correspondence. I have focused on the political aspect of the letters. I have tried to catch how much the women had been interested in the policy.
