Påverkan på fattigpensionärer i SverigeAndersson, Ellinor January 2019 (has links)
Nyckelord: fattigpensionär, pensionssystem, låg ekonomisk standard, könssystem, jämställdhet / AbstractImpact on poor pensioners in Sweden
The background of this study is to study how Swedens amount of poor pensioners har increased during the 2000s and why 80 percent of these are women. The purpose of this study is to investigate various parts of the new pensionsystem in order to gain a deeper understanding of Sweden's increase in poor pensioners. Benefits of the system will also be studied and its effects on different groups. The method will first be based on a quantitative method and secondary data analysis where I will collect already finished material. Then I will analyze the texts based on a qualitative method and text analysis. Results showed that labor market policy and gender equality work had a major impact on women's social role in society but also on its future pension. The various parts of the pension system that I have examined have been linked to gender systems where I can see connections in relation to my questions and purpose in the essay. In order to investigate different social inequalities, one has to examine large parts and have a wide range of what can actually affect. In order for the state itself to be able to reduce the inequality that exists between women and men of today's pensioners, there are several different parts that must follow each other in order for everyone to be offered financial security and a reasonable standard of living. Keywords: poor pensioner, pensionsystem, low economic standard, gender system, gender equality.

You can’t decide my gender, so stop doing it now!” : A qualitative internet study about people who identify outside the gender binary systemSkogström, Mathilda, Abrahamsson, Emilia January 2017 (has links)
The purpose of this study was to gain knowledge about how people who identify themselves outside the gender binary system look upon treatment from people in different contexts and how the strategies they use in relation to treatment are expressed. As an approach to this study, we chose to do a qualitative internet study, the empirical material included ten various blogs written by people who identify themselves outside the gender binary system. By using a content analysis we were able to distinguish themes concerning good and bad treatment as well as different forms of coping in our empirical material. The analysis was based on two different kinds of perspectives: queer theory and the concept of coping strategies. The result of this study showed that people who identify themselves outside the gender binary system experience poor treatment more often than good treatment from people in different contexts. One important result that this study showed was that most people described that they felt reduced and ridiculed by, for example, government officials and family members because of their gender identity. We also found that the people in this study used different strategies to cope with the poor treatment they received. A strategy that most of the people in the study used to avoid being treated badly were dressing in gender-neutral clothes. The main conclusion of the study is that it is important that we humans do not assume that all persons belong to the gender binary system. More knowledge about the area is needed to enable us to treat people who identify outside the gender binary system adequately.
