Användningen av digitala verktyg i kinesiskaundervisningen

Min, Natasha January 2017 (has links)
Information technology has become an important part of our lives and all kinds of digital tools have been widely used in different areas of our society. Previous research shows that Swedish schools have received more attention and resources for developing knowledge about how information technology and digital tools benefit teaching and learning in comparison with a few years earlier, especially language learning (Skolverket, 2011). The aim of this thesis is mainly to study how teachers in Sweden are using digital tools in teaching Chinese. This thesis is based on a social-cultural perspective of learning as well as the four functions of IT in language teaching (Svensson, 2008). For collecting data, a mixed method with survey and interview was used. The outcome shows that teachers are using digital tools in different learning areas with different approaches. The frequency of using IT in teaching Chinese varies from one teacher to the other. A lack of time and resources prevent teachers from increasing using digital tools. In addition, teachers require more training programs in both IT and pedagogy in order to facilitate the utilization of IT in Chinese teaching.
