TITLE: Podcast as a didactic aid of teacher AUTHOR: Bc. Miloslav Khas DEPARTMENT: Department of Information & Technical Education SUPERVISOR: Ing. Bořivoj Brdička, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: Use of podcast as an educational medium is the principal and crucial topic of this thesis. The diploma thesis is focused on history and development of this phenomenon and points to the possibilities of podcast use at primary schools. The goal of this thesis is to show not only the advantages and benefit of the podcast for pupils and the teacher, but also to highlight the possible problems during its use and introduction. The theoretical part is dealing with aspects and podcast use at schools and provides an overview of existing researches. The other part is giving us an overview of existing solutions and good examples of practice at Czech schools and schools in abroad. The main part represents an experiment description including own solution proposal used at the primary school in Staňkov. This thesis can serve as a podcast guide for other possible interested persons striving for similar activities. A thesis deals with still not very clear conception of the deputy headmaster of the primary school. It determines which competences are delegated to these workers , and whether the scope of their activities affects the size of the school and any number of deputy headmasters . The selected sample of primary schools in the Czech Republic were studied and then the current practice was described in the key areas of the school management. The present thesis has been completed using available literature a freely accessible Internet resources relating to the topic . Based on generally accepted legal norms and specific laws governing the area of education. A quantitative research was conducted in the form of both a sample survey and a questionnaire in the online environment. It was aimed at current concept of the deputy headmasters in primary schooling in the key areas of school management and identifying specific actions contained in the job description. Addressed respondents were the deputy headmasters of the school head . Their views on the possible definition of a legal base of this job and the number of students and graduates of the shool management were also examined. This Thesis is focused on beginning teachers as absolvents of Charles University Faculty of Education with experience at most three years. There is explained what competences teachers have to individualize lessons at Primary school. This topic is very popular these days and doesn't cover only children with specific needs or children who are gifted, but it includes all pupils. This thesis tries to map this current situation with eight chosen teachers who respond to our requairments. The Teoretic part is divided into five chapters, which describe professional quality of teacher with deep focusing on personal characteristic, the term a beginning teacher and his most frequent problems. Next chapter is focused on pedagogical competences. Subchapters are conected with deep analyzation of teacher's competances to individualize his lessons and introduse some tendences in current preparatory education of teachers at primary schools. This thesis deals is focused the application of general individualization strategies during work in the regular primary school classroom where pupils with learning diasabilities and specific behavior are integrated. Its aim is to describe the way the teacher tries to find optimal solutions using a form of action research. It deals with the status of these pupils in the class. What is their attitude and how they are motivated for school work. It traces how is the process perceived by pupils themselves, by thein schoolmates and thein parents. Perception of their problems by classmates and their parents. It reflects how the choice of the strategy affects the level of professional competence and teaching style of the teacher. It describes the benefits and risks associated with the integration of children with learning disabilities in the common classroom. It maps the possible strategies of differentiation and individualization of teaching methods and strategies that support students with learning disabilities an specific behavioral. Title: Institutional structure of sport in the Czech republic Objectives: The main goal of this project is to evaluate current role of the Czech Sport Union and the Czech Olympic Commitee and their position in the structure of czech sport environment. The second goal is, on the basis of research, to suggest a new concept of the institutional structure of sport in the Czech republic and at the same time considering the importance of scientific and educational center. Methods: In this project, there was used a qualitative method of research - in-depth interview, which was completed by semi-structured questionnaire. As well as a method of text analysis was applied. Case study served as a certain source of secondary data too. Results: Recommendations and proposals for improvement of situation of the czech sport environment represent the main output. Transcriptions of in-depth interviews placed in appendix are considered as a significant results as well. This thesis is going to be submitted to all of respondents with the aspiration to inform the whole sport environment about current situation in the czech sport area. This thesis deals with a training of primary school teachers in the Czech Republic and in the French-speaking part of Belgium. It is a comparative study analyzing corresponding systems of tertiary education. In detail it describes selected examples of education used by the Faculty of Education of Charles University in Prague and the École normale catholique du Brabant Wallon at Haute Ecole Léonard de Vinci in Louvain - la - Neuve. For the purpose of mutual inspiration it presents individual curricula of both universities, the relationship of theory and practice in the studies and, based on author`s own observations and experience, reflections of two specific issues from each institution which are interesting and unique. It also presents problems of professional competence of teachers who apply for teacher training. Because such paper is already valid in Belgium, while in the Czech Republic it is still in progress. Both schools have a lot to offer for its current students, but there is always space for further development.

The diploma thesis "Current issues in adult education in the helping professions" deals with present possibilities of life-long education of a helping professional. In the theoretical part it focuses on the general terminology and specifies the terms that characterise the helping professions. It introduces the issue of competencies, which, at the present time, have become output categories in the educational process. The thesis describes individual phases of a professional career and educational opportunities which are connected with the different phases. Thesis with the title "Life stories and professional careers of women headmasters of vocational high schools" deals with professional life of women headmasters of vocational high schools and analyzes this professional life. Per this analysis is detected, what is the benefit of these headmasters for school and if they promote a development of the school. Narrative analysis was used on this research.Beside the research there are answered other questions, which are related to professional life and are associated with the primary research question. There are described the phases of professional life and there are stated the effects, which influence the decision making of the headmasters. In the conclusion of research the headmasters alone evaluate their actions in position of headmaster.The primary research question is answered, how it results from research, all headmasters are benefit for their school. Schools, which were guided by them, had evolved and it is them, who are the reason of its growth. Recommendations for futher research is analysis of professional men headmasters.

Autonomy of directors and teachers in the current Chinese educational system Mgr. Radana Wagenknechtová 2015 ABSTRACT This thesis looks at the Chinese educational system and the autonomy that directors and teachers share in the decision making process. It not only examines the educational system as a whole but analyses different levels of the educational system, puts an emphasis on the autonomy of teachers and directors in a school environment, and introduces various school reforms in China since 1976. Consequently, it clarifies the current Chinese educational system with an emphasis on various organizational levels along with the power they have in the decision making process and the options for creating change. Through the study of key documents of the Chinese educational system, political system, and other foreign literature, the legislative processes and documents that are responsible for the Chinese educational policies are made apparent. The thesis compares the official Chinese educational system's documents and processes with the actual situation. Based on this research, the thesis determines the real level of autonomy that directors and teachers possess in the decision making process.
