This diploma thesis deals with the competence model of a soft skills trainer working in the private sector. It looks into the specifics of adult education with emphasis on the presentation of barriers when educating adults. Furthermore, this work discusses adult education specifics while focusing on the differences from the education of children and youth. This diploma work focuses on a trainer's personality requirements, his competences, and it presents expectations related to the trainer. A soft skills trainer's competence model is drawn up on the basis of theory presented and research carried out. The research focuses on three groups of participants to educational process - representatives of an educational organization as a trainer's employer, ordering party of an educational event as a trainer's customer and trainers themselves.

This thesis deals with the knowledge of processes and practical skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation among nurses working in the field of anesthesia and intensive medicine. The theoretical part of this paper defines the notion of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, deals with its history, changing definitions, and the latest recommendations. It also describes and specifies terms such as competence, knowledge of the processes and the role of the nurse in the system. The empirical part, using a questionnaire survey, assesses orientation of nurses and nurses specialists in the latest recommendations in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the related knowledge and competences in the use of resuscitation itself. The questionnaire survey was answered by 152 respondents from 3 large hospitals in Prague. There were also the results of its investigation, compared with the results of research conducted by Václav Kukol in 2010 - 2011 as part of their thesis. In the final discussion paper evaluates the confirmation of the hypotheses. Then attach the recommendations for practice.

The presented diploma thesis deals with the subject of non-medical rescue services. The main purpose is to analyze medical services provided by non-medical rescue services - especially Mountain Rescue Service and Mining Rescue Service. The theoretical part introduces the reader the activity of these two services provided in the Czech Republic from the perspective of organization, history, provided services, financing, legislation, professional training of the staff, and available equipment. The research part of the thesis is created on the basis of qualitative research using the method of content analysis of the statistically validates documents. The research results inform about the real extend of provided services, and give the concise information about the frequency and reasons of emergencies. This part of the thesis is completed with the information about the real education of the staff and short interview with leading managers. Usage of a video at real-time Czech lessons (not distantly through YouTube) presents to students a very attractive way of learning a language and the socio- cultural competence quickly and entertainingly. The aim of this paper is to sum up findings of the specialized literature and to create special videos useable in foreign language classes of A0/A1 level based on those findings. The videos will be focused on development of sociocultural competence, the themes shall be following: 1.Lesson of the good manners in the Czech environment part 1. (formal X informal language) 2. Lesson of the good manners in the Czech environment part 2. ( Traveling with the Public transport, how to behave) 3. Holidays ( Christmas, Easter ) The empiric part of this thesis will be based on the hypothesis that using video in the classroom will make the acquisition of the sociocultural competence easier. The video materials will be shown in a couple of groups of student at the A0/A1 level while couple of group of other student will study without them. Those students shall get the competence through printed materials (for example books or materials prepared ad hoc by the teacher) and explanation of the teacher. Numerical competences include the number of abilities as representation of the quantity and transformations or operations with quantity. Many species of animals can use these abilities for example during searching for food, sexual partners and also for detection of number of competitors or predators. Numerical abilities such as counting or estimating quantity can increase the chance of survival and reproduction. In this work, I summarize some previous studies of numerical competences in primates and humans and I also mention experiments in other species. I divide the competences into chapters: estimating of the numbers (relative and absolute), counting, summation, conservation of quantity, proportion, ordinality and transitivity. The aim of this study was to study the ability of macaques (Macaca mulatta) to distinguish between the quantities of two sets. In the following part of experiment I observed the preference of monkeys for size or the number of stimuli. This preference was studied also in children. The results confirm the ability of relative numerousness judgment of monkeys. The results demonstrate that with increasing difference of quantity between the two sets the ability of distinguish between the two quantities also increase. The work is mapped to what extent the entrance to the Director and his previous preparation reflects on the development of controlled organization and quality of education provided . Kompetence nelékařského zdravotnického personálu v České republice / Competence of non-medical staff in the Czech republic

The topic of the diploma thesis is dedicated to competence of non medical staff in the Czech Republic. The whole draft is built on analysing of the specific issues and consideration if it is possible to attein, that physicians could transmit part of their competences to non medical staff under the current law approval. In the theoretical part of the work I focus on identification of individual factors influence the work of non-medical staff and the conditions under which it is possible to perform the medical profession. Further on the system of education and competence individual profession primarily workers in intensive care. It also includes considerations for and against increasing the skills and vicarious view of selected experts. At the end of the thesis I developed a comparison between the neighboring states and the Czech Republic in the competence of selected professions. In the empirical part of the work, I work with data that I received from questionnaires. I concentrated mainly on nurses in intensive care units, and anesthesiology and resuscitation department. Video jako prostředek pro zvýšení motivace a rozvoj dovedností studentů v didaktice biologie / Video as a Tool for Increasing Motivation and Developing Student's Skills in Didactics of Biology

This master's thesis refers to the use of video as a teaching tool in the subject Didactics of Biology. It comprises two parts, one theoretical and another practical. The theoretical part charts the didactical and practical subjects taught at the Faculty of Education, Charles University in Prague, and deals with the use of video for the professional development of teachers. For the practical part, 8 lesson observation videos were recorded and placed on a newly created website (www.didaktikabiologievidea.cz). The observation videos were submitted to an analysis based on the 3A method and were used afterwards during the courses on Didactics of Biology. A questionnaire was carried out among the students of the teaching profession to evaluate the benefits of the videos for them. The questionnaire surveyed the motivation for studying Didactics of Biology, as well as the impact that these observation videos had on the performance of the teaching profession and the improvement of the teaching abilities.
