Optimalizace distribuce vzduchu ve školských zařízeních / Optimizing of air distribution in schools

Cigánková, Kristýna January 2017 (has links)
The thesis deals with the issue of indoor air quality of schools and kindergartens. It focuses particularly on the inadequate ventilation and the application of forced ventila-tion in these types of buildings. The proposed solution is applied to a kindergarten in Kuřim. Measurements of the C02 concentration levels were performed in the presence and absence of air conditioning. To elaborate the proposed solution a simulation was made using a software called ANSYS Fluent. Input values for the simulation were obtained from an experimental measurement of a ventilation diffuser made by a company called Climecon ROX using the PIV method. This diffuser was then installed in the kindergarten. The measure-ments were carried out in the framework of the project the experimental validation of numerical models of the air flow in buildings marked with FAST-S-6-3387.

Kationické povrchově aktivní látky a hodnocení jejich vlastností / Cationic surface active compounds and evaluation of its properties

Pekařová, Kateřina January 2018 (has links)
Charles University Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biophysics and Physical Chemistry Consultant: PharmDr. Jan Marek, Ph.D. Supervisor: doc. PharmDr. Veronika Nováková, Ph.D. Student: Kateřina Pekařová Title of Thesis: Cationic surface active compounds and evaluation of its properties Quaternary ammonium salts are used as surfactants in many branches of the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. The basic properties of these substances were studied in the thesis. The critical micellar concentration of the homologous series of five substances was determined using the conductometric method. The theory of declining critical micellar concentration with the increasing length of the side alkyl chain has been verified. The hydrolytic activity of two commonly used cationic surfactants benzalconium chloride and benzoxonium chloride for the decomposition of the organophosphorus pesticide fenitrothion was tested. For these two substances, the effect of pH and temperature changes was evaluated. The influence of tenside concentration was also monitored. Benzoxonium chloride at 50 řC and pH 11was found as the most effective hydrolytic catalyst for the decomposition of the organophosphorus pesticide fenitrothione.

Bankovní poplatky - jejich determinanty a vliv na ziskovost a rizikovost bank / Bank fee and commission income - its determinants and impact on bank's profitability and risk

Vozková, Karolína January 2020 (has links)
This thesis consists of five essays dealing with the fee and commission income in European banks from the macro, sector and bank level perspectives. This topic is of high relevance since fee income represents the largest part of the non-interest income of EU banks. The first part of the thesis deals with banks in general terms, while the second part is focused solely on cooperative banks, which represent approximately 20% of the EU banking sector. We compare the magnitude of the bank fee income across EU countries and study its determinants and impacts on banks' performance. The first essay compares the magnitude of the fee income across EU countries with a special emphasis on the Czech Republic from a macroeconomic perspective. First, we conclude that Czech banks are not abnormally dependent on fee income and their outstanding performance can be attributed to sound risk management, high liquidity and sufficient capital buffers rather than to excessive fees. Second, our evidence suggests that the share of fee income had an increasing trend in EU countries in recent years, which might be connected to the effort to maintain sufficient profitability in the low interest rates environment. We also discuss how new entrants, the so called low-cost banks, changed the banking sector in the Czech Republic....

Zárubová, Alena January 2010 (has links)
4 ABSTRACT The aim of this thesis is to draw attention to the process of concentration in tourism.Various locations within the monitored area have different potential for tourism. This aspect leads to a concentration of tourists and services to certain centers. In the area of interest there are two attractive location for a tourist city of Český Krumlov and Lipno dam. These two sites are the frequently visited places, both in southern Bohemia and in the whole Czech Republic. However, the area has a hide potential for the development of alternative forms od tourism. The intent of this thesis is based on the available data and information to evaluate the process of concentration of tourism in the case of Český Krumlov district and propose appropriate tools to deconcentration of tourism and the use of peripheral sites. Keywords: concentration of tourism, alternative forms of tourism, Český Krumlov, Lipno dam

In vitro screening nových, potenciálně antibakteriálně účinných sloučenin III / In vitro screening of novel potentially active antibacterial compounds III

Vízková, Marcela January 2020 (has links)
Charles University Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biological and Medical Sciences Study program: Specialist on Laboratory Methods Autor: Bc. Marcela Vízková Supervisor: PharmDr. Ondřej Janďourek, Ph.D. Title: In vitro screening of novel potentially active antibacterial compounds III Since the discovery of penicillin, antibiotics have become part of modern therapeutic approaches. But the global spread of resistance makes their future uncertain. It is necessary to find new antibacterial substances useful in practice. As resistance is a global threat, the theoretical part deals with this issue. In addition to resistance, the theoretical part also briefly describes the antibiotics used, including new antibiotics, which were recently registered or likely to be registered. For selected groups, their mechanism of action is described in detail. Sensitivity should be determined to correctly indicate the antibiotic treatment. For this reason, the theoretical part also describes methods by which the sensitivity of a microbe to an antibiotic can be determined qualitatively or quantitatively. The theoretical part does not neglect the history of the development of antibacterial substances and familiarization with antibiotic policy in the Czech Republic. This diploma thesis is based on...
