Syfte och frågeställningar: Studien presenterar bilden av svensk klimatrapportering under en veckas tid. Syftet med studien är således att få en ökad förståelse för svensk klimatrapportering. Studien har följande övergripande frågeställning: - Hur ser bilden av klimatet ut i en svensk nyhetsvecka 2019? För att kunna besvara den huvudsakliga frågeställningen ställs följdfrågorna: - Vilka teman går att urskilja ur en veckas svensk medierapportering om klimatet? - På vilket sätt gestaltas nyheter om klimatet utifrån teorier om nyhetsvärdering? - Hur framställer nyhetsmedierna klimatproblem utifrån idéer om konstruktiv journalistik och hur påvisas lösningar till problemen? Metod och material: En diskursanalys genomförs på det valda materialet. Materialet för studien består av klimatrelaterade inslag och artiklar från Rapport, Tv4 Nyheterna, Dagens Nyheter, Svenska Dagbladet, Aftonbladet och Expressen under en veckas tid under våren 2019. Huvudresultat: Resultatet av studien visar på att en stor del av rapporteringen kring klimatet är präglat av områdena transport och ekonomi. Varför dessa teman är återkommande i en såstor del av materialet kan inte med säkerhet fastställas. Det kan dock bero på att både transport och ekonomi är breda ämnen med flera olika aspekter.

Climate migration (climate refugees) has been debated in Sweden and globally over the past few decades. This paper is a critical discourse analysis of the presentation of climate migration in Swedish news media, using Fairclough's three-dimensional model as the foundation. The study aims to identify and analyze the different discourses surrounding climate migration that are presented in news media. This critical discourse further intends to analyze how these discourses are constructed in news articles. By reviewing seven articles from various Swedish newspapers, we have identified three discourses within the phenomenon of climate migration. These discourses revolve around portraying climate migration as a problem, a potential solution, and a complex economic injustice. Based on constructive journalism, the discourses are constructed both with a negative and consequence-focused approach but also emphasize solutions that advocate a humanitarian point of view. Furthermore, we have identified that these constructions advocate an impatience regarding the situation directed towards those in position of power.

Constructive journalism aims to cover stories about progress and collaboration as well as stories about devastation and conflict. This qualitative interviewstudy explores how local journalists working at Sveriges Television and Sveriges Radio experience the impact of constructive journalism on their journalistic role. What has the constructive perspective, which is now quite implemented in the two media organizations, meant for the conceptions of the journalistic role considering norms, ideals and journalistic mission? By interviewing five journalists about their experiences, we received results that provide an understanding of constructive journalism as it pertains to journalist role conceptions. The results show that the constructive perspective has come with a great sense of change for these journalists, considering how they experience their journalistic role.
