The diploma thesis is focused on corporate fraud problematic, on The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and on problematics of internal control systems and corporate governance, which relate closely with the Sarbanes-Oxley act. The goal of my diploma thesis is to highlight the significance of corporate fraud problematic and create an integrated summary of requirements placed on companies, which either have to or want to comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley act. The opening part of the diploma thesis is focused on fraud theory, which is after that demonstrated on accounting scandal cases Enron, WorldCom and Arthur Andersen. The biggest losses were caused by fraudulent financial reporting. The Sarbanes Oxley act is a reaction on this fraud cases. The Sarbanes-Oxley act brought a range of significant changes in financial reporting, internal control, corporate governance, audit and other areas.

The goal of this master's thesis is to perform a strategic analysis, to formulate a strategy on its basis and to propose the way of implementation and control of the strategy for the SAP division of the Pontech s.r.o. company and to contribute to successful implementation of strategic management system in this division and company. The thesis consists of two main parts. In the first, theroretically-metodological, part the terms and theories of strategic management and strategy are explained first and then the most common tools and methods of strategic analysis and further phases of strategic cycle i.e. formulation, implementation and control, which are used in the second, analytical, part, are mentioned. The analysis of macro and microenvironment, the analysis of internal resources and capabilities and the synthesis in the form of SWOT analysis is thus performed gradually, a strategy is formulated on that basis and after all the way of implementation and control of a strategy is performed using the principles of Balanced Scorecard system.

This diploma thesis is focused on measures, which have been adopted in Iceland due to the crisis. The first part of the thesis follows up causes and a course of the Icelandic banking crisis in order to understand the situation which the Icelandic authorities had to respond. Subsequently there are outlined measures which are adopted and in the last part these measures are evaluated. Emphasis is placed on analysing the measures of capital controls, banking sector restructuring and fiscal consolidation. All measures have achieved their objectives and have had significant impact on current recovery. Therefore at the end of the thesis is discussed the possibility of these measures applicability in other countries.

The first part of the thesis focuses on the basis and constitutional foundations of territorial self-government, including reflection on the question of whether territorial self- government is an essential part of a democratic rule of law and whether it is an expression of decentralization of public authority. It also deals with the holders and executors of territorial self-government in individual territorial self-governing units. in English Abstract The thesis aims to fathom different aspects of the commodification of personal data. The topic is an issue of current interest. On one hand, due to the constant improvement of the technology of collecting and processing personal data, individuals are becoming very vulnerable. Techniques of influencing their thinking and decision-making based on their personal data have become so subtle and insidious that they often go unnoticed by the individuals. On the other hand, the development of the data economy can contribute to many goals that benefit society. This paper aims to answer two research questions. The first research question is how to guarantee the secure processing of personal data and to eliminate negative impacts on the subject and on society. The second research question concerns both ensuring adequate access of digital industry to personal data and empowering the data subject. Given the complexity of the issue and the confusion about the meaning and interpretation of basic concepts such as personal data and information, it is necessary to first briefly outline the nature and characteristics of personal data. Diploma thesis " Influence of hockey affairs over leading media " deals with strictness in media control in the country in spring 1969. From august 1968 was Czechoslovakia occupied by the troops of Warsaw pact, under the control were among others also media. The situation was nevertheless desperate, media were partly conserving liberty and relative freedom. In the end of March 1969, during the world championships in Stockholm, Czechoslovak ice hockey national team beated twice the Soviet union. The celebrations of the second win culminated by citizen disturbances, which were partly directed against Soviet companies offices and barracks used for the troops of Warsaw pact. After that incident the Soviet leadership in Moscow realised to tightened up the regime in Czechoslovakia markedly. One of the most afflicted realm was the media realm. This diploma thesis deals with this strictness and with the changes in this realm during the spring of 1969. This period was the most important for progression of media situation in next twenty years.

In the theoretical part of this thesis are described types of threads, methods of production and control of threads, types of taps, types of coatings and cutting fluids, analysis of specific cutting forces during thread cutting and theoretical analysis of the cross-section distribution by taps using. The experimental part of this thesis includes the production of internal threads by cutting tap at constant cutting conditions. The cutting time was measured according to the function of time during the experiment. The measured data were statistically processed and, as a result, the cost of one thread production was calculated.

Goal of the Master Thesis was to design conception of electric vehicle driveline, which is able of torque vectoring between each wheel independently and to design front axle gearbox. The aim was to use up the car on race track and to test dynamic properties of electric vehicle for follow-up development. Due to determined requirements and possible solutions the conception of driveline was designed and basic parameters were defined. The main part of the thesis contains a design of gearbox including strength calculation of gearing, the control of shafts to fatigue and elasticity limiting states, life of selected bearings. Gearbox case was subjected to FEM analysis. The last chapter uses simulation to gain vehicle acceleration. Designed electric driveline is applicable to other sport vehicles after some modifications.

The first part deals with theoretical knowledge about controlling, especially its development and division. The second part of the thesis deals with the analysis of the current state of controlling in selected company. The last part of the thesis is based on the findings of the previous analysis and proposes possible solutions, such as controlling business management, center management system and structured reporting system.
